Crisil Real Estate Ratings — meaning-less real estate ratings by crisil (crest) | |
CRISIL real estate ratings (CREST) are meaningless. They are using the pool of their own rated companies to benchmark the real estate ratings. Which means that the developer with the highest CRISIL real estate rating, i.e. seven stars is the one eyed king in the kingdom of the blind. Their pool of rated developers is made up of those developers who NEED a crisil real estate rating to sell their property and are ready to PAY CRISIL for this rating. I am SUFFERING GREATLY after buying a flat from a developer with a CRISIL six star real estate rating. The maintenance and administration is COMPLETELY ABSENT. I bought this property from them ONLY BECAUSE they had a CRISIL real estate rating. The properties of CRISIL rated developers are SOLD AT PREMIUM which is NOT JUSTIFIED by the CRISIL real estate rating. Not only the projects rated by CRISIL but ALL PROJECTS of the developer have a PREMIUM and this is NOT JUSTIFIED. I am STUCK in a project very far away from the city only because I wanted a CRISIL rated developer. I could have bought a flat in the city for the SAME PRICE. The BEST developers in this country DO NOT have a CRISIL real estate rating. Was this information helpful? | |

Terrible experience after buying a flat from a developer with crisil real estate star rating (CREST). I am running around from one employee to another for a simple service like registration of the flat. The employees and owners of the developer with crisil real estate star rating (CREST) are like a gang of goondas and they are just tossing me from one table to another like a ball. ALl my self respect is GONE after paying millions of rupees to these goons.
