Crisil real estate ratings are completely bogus. They are giving very high ratings to pvt. Ltd. Companies which have zero process and data integrity. Customers are buying from these companies based on a rating given to a single project of the company. When they have a terrible experience and complain to crisil they are told that the rating applies to only one project and not all the projects of the company. At the same time crisil does nothing to prevent the company from advertising the rating on its main website or in its advertisements for all its projects. We all know what a great rating crisil and icra gave to pnb even during the decade long geetanjali scandal! Beware of buying property from a project with a crisil real estate rating. I bought a flat from one such company with crisil six stars project and another flat from a large publicly listed conglomerate and i can tell there is no comparison between the experience. The crisil rated company's experience was horrendous. The public listed conglomerate was excellent even though it has no crisil rating. Was this information helpful? | |||||

Crisil real estate star rating (CREST) is mostly being given to developers who are dealing heavily in cash, benami and underwriting. This fact is widely known about them locally but for some reason CRISIL is either ignoring or turning blind eye. There is one person who boasts during society meetings that he owns 10-11 flats in the apartment where I live. CRISIL real estate star rated developers represent the land mafia of this country and you will forever compromise your security and peace of mind if you buy from them. There is no solution to living in the neighbourhood of the land mafia. Neither the police nor the administration nor your neighbours will be able to give you any security.

Developers with CRISIL real estate ratings are NOT GETTING REGISTRY OF FLAT done for customers. They charge full amount PRIOR to registry so even after paying millions of rupees to these CHEATS you will have to run around for your own registry.
The developers with crisil real estate ratings are charging legal fees but there is NO LEGAL FIRM contracted by them to handle registry. They are simply pocketing the legal fees themselves unlike the larger developers who have legal firms to handle the registry.
The CRISIL real estate rating is the BIGGEST FRAUD in the Indian real estate sector.
