D-Mart / Avenue Supermarts — Refund not received inspite of multiple followups

Date: 10 October 2024.

INR 2841 debited to account twice. However, order failed citing reason: Payment failed.

Tried contacting customer support twice. Advised to wait for 5-6 days.
Second time contacted customer support: I was informed payment made through credit card was refunded on 15 October. For UPI refund was advised to wait again.

To confirm credit card refund, i wrote to the credit card company. But it has been confirmed by them that no such amount debited on 10 October was refunded. CC Company advised to co-ordinate with D-mart for this matter.

Are customers just supposed to keep slogging between customer support services with no prompt response?

Inspite of continuous followups through calls and emails no response has been received from DMart
