My videocon d2h customer id is 97671827 .
My set top box is showing error messages of smart card not inserted properly . This is happening 3rd time from past couple of years . In last 2 time i purchased new set top box from d2h representative . But it's 3rd time facing the same issue . And i think they are doing this to us intentionally to do marketing of their new products. Because both the time, when i purchases set top box it only run normally for 8 - 10 months and after that the same smart card not inserted properly issues appear . I contacted the customer care service, and their answer was as usual, they tried to reset it but nothing happens, and they told me that they will sent technician tomorrow, and it will cost me 200 ₹, but when technician arrives he told me to purchase the new one, just like in last 2 time . which cost 800₹ around. If i need to purchase the new STB everytime, why should i pay 200₹ for technician charge, because they are not able to fix the STB, it is technician or D2h problem right, but why should a consumer pay for technician if he is not able resolve the issue, and recommends to buy a new one, means he is taking 200₹ for just delivering the new STB . So the conclusion is both D2H and technicians are fooling the consumer by this techniques to do marketing their new products to customers. Was this information helpful? |
