This is an urgent escalation regarding a defective Daikin 2.5 Ton Split Air Conditioner purchased on 20th April 2026, which has failed immediately upon installation.

Gulati Electric Co. Invoice No.: GEC/197/26-27 (dated 20/04/2026) – 5 units of 1.5 Ton AC
Issue Description (Critical):
The AC is not functioning via remote control at all and can only be operated through the manual ON/OFF button.
We have already verified the remote and batteries, and the same remote works perfectly with the other AC units purchased. This clearly indicates a defect in the indoor unit/receiver of the 2.5 Ton AC.
It is completely unacceptable that a brand-new premium product has failed on Day 1 of installation.
Given the situation, I expect the following without delay:
Immediate service visit (within 24 hours)
Definitive resolution – preferably full replacement of the faulty unit
No temporary fixes for a brand-new defective product
