I bought a 5 star Daikin split AC from Vijay Sales (Rajouri Garden) in March 2021. Ever since I bought the AC, it was not able to lower the temperature of the room below 27°C. Because it was unusual for a 1.5 tonn capacity AC, I called Daikin to get it checked. The service person who visited blamed me for buying a split inverter AC since I live on the top floor. He said that I should have bought a non inverter window AC instead. He stated that there is nothing wrong with the AC, for top floors, split ACs are not effective. After this, I called Daikin multiple times asking them to send someone else so they actually check the defect instead of blaming me but they kept sending the same technician throughout the year who just kept blaming me for not knowing that apparently 5 star ACs do not work on the top floor. Only non inverter window AC is the solution. Daikin has all the records of the numerous calls that I have made to their customer care about this issue. I even reached out to the area manager of Daikin who promised to do something about it but ended up sending the same technician who did nothing yet again. I'm convinced that the AC that I've been sold is defective and Daikin service center is trying to make excuses so they don't have to fix the real problem. I spent my hard earned money to buy this AC and not getting any remedy to this problem. My emails have been ignored too.
I also spoke to their social media team who have yet again arranged a visit from the same technician. This whole experience has been a complete nightmare.
Daikin has clearly sold me a defective AC and are trying to avoid the responsibility of fixing or replacing the machine. Was this information helpful? |
