I am a returning customer to Daikin despite of having other machines from O’general & Hitachi.
I had purchased this machine purely on my first hand experience of the machine that I bought for my other home. With conviction I reached out to your SSD outlet and with no negotiation I picked up the latest model 2022, though it was not aesthetically great looking when compared to your 2021 models.
Since the day it was delivered, it came with an indoor unit damaged and outdoor unit with burnt marks on it. Which made me suspicious on day one that the machine is not new for sure. Despite that having faith in the brand and the SSD sales person Mr. Manish, I immediately sent them the pictures and they assured me that the indoor unit body will be replaced at the earliest.
The machine was delivered to me on 12-Apr but was installed on the 14-Apr and the above issues were highlighted on the same day of installation. PFA the pictures for your reference.
So far I was still ok to go ahead with Daikin, since my faith in this respected brand.
But from the same night of 14-Apr, the outdoor until started screaming and humming to such an extent the during midnight you get terrified by the noise and would switch off and sleep in this sweltering weather of 39-40degree. I immediately told Me. Manish about their the next day and he got some technician arranged after 2 days to look into it. They tried to put the rubber pads and promised me that the issue is resolved. Again the same night the machine did not make any noise when it kicks in hit after 15-20min it started screaming and trembling like never before. I again complained about this and a next set of service engg. we’re deployed to my place and they suggested that the installation was not proper and needs to be removed since the Copper piping is short and it is touching the body due to which the noise. I agreed to get it re-installed and this worked for that night I guess since we all were so tired and slept like a log that night. But the next day when we put in the machine. It was screaming again. I again called the service guys when Rajkot service head Mr. Viral visited my place with some engg. and they said-that it’s due to some internal pipes which are touching the body and hence the noise. They did some quick fix and said its done and left for the day. The same night machine when was fired up, it was back to its noisy mode. I had completely lost my patience and my frustration level was at peak. The indoor unit was not cooling the bedroom and neither having any powerful throw unlike the O’general or Hitachi, which even at Speed level 2 we could feel the throw.
My dad was always interested in getting Voltas or O’general but I insisted of getting a Daikin again. I was falling in my face with this decision. I called up Mr. Viral and asked him to take back this pathetic machine immediately and to which he requested to give him a last chance and surely fix the problem. To this I agreed and a next set of engg. came and do some fixture inside the outdoor and said to observe. But even this effort was in vein.
By this time I had made up my kind to get this machine uninstalled myself and throw it at the SSD outlet. But Mr. Viral requested again to bring in the Service head of a Rajkot for the last time and will surely get the machine replaced if it does not work this time. I fell prey for this again and allowed them to perform the fix. But as expected this time too it did not work and the outdoor is still cranky and the indoor dying to cool the bedroom. This is the last week 20-May-22 where in Mr. Viral promised me to get this replaced with a brand new machine and will confirm about it by 21-May-22 max by evening. And until today while I am writing this mail there is no update what so ever despite I calling back to him and his number is always switched off.
I had upfront told Mr. Viral that I am no more interested to even keep this machine and only want to retire this back for good. And I still stand with my decision of taking this machine back.
After going through so many things in this short span of time of this brand new experience I want to officially escalate this matter to the highest possible place before I reach out to the MD of the organization and the social platform.
I have mailed to all the escalation Level-1 to Leve-7 including the MDHELPDESK, but i guess they know that they are playing foul. Hence no replies or even an acknowledgement so far.
