[Resolved] Daikin Air Conditioners / Daikinindia.com — the worst ac which showed its true colours in just one season | |||
Bought Daikin S/AC 1.5 T Inverter-CTKP50SRV16/RKP50SRV16 on June 29-2017. I got it installed from company on Dec 21-2017. Did not use the AC as it aws winters. In summer 2018, I used the AC and got it company serviced in June 2018 and complained that the AC is cooling. The technician just did the cleaning and said it would work fine. I again raised a complain that season for the cooling but could not get it fixed due to the cold weather. This season, I again complained and then the technician came. He said that there is issue with the PCB of outer unit. They charged and replaced it after a week. The AC was not cooling and then he said that there is issue with the compressor and kept my AC for a week in their service center for replacement and testing. They again installed the AC which again was not cooling. They again took the AC to their SC and said there is issue with the extension valve and i am still waiting to hear back from them about it for a week. It's almost 1 month that I am struggling with this AC in peak Jaipur summers and still no resolution. I am surprised that in one season this AC had so many issues, will it survive. Still unresolved.
It’s more than 1.5 months
I have spent over 10, 000 rupees
The following parts have been replaced in the outer unit.
1. PCB
2. compressor
3. Two valves
4. Done Nitrogen testing
Still the technician is not able to find and fix the problem. Looks like they are just earning money and doing test run on the machine.
There is nothing original left in the machine as all the parts have been changed.
This AC is pricey, useless, unreliable and high maintenance.
Do not recommend buying Daikin Inverter AC.

There is a part extension valve which he says needs to be replaced. He raised the request with Daikin but for last 9 days he could not procure it from Daikin. I am still waiting for my AC to be repaired and fixed for more than a month in peak summer season.
