I talked to customer care of my credit card they said payment received to DHBVN . Same discussed with DHBVN customer care, he said server issue is happening.

    dhbvn is not responding for the refund

    I have been applied online for a new electricity connection for domestic use on 2nd-nov-2018 with the application no g[protected], also paid rs. 2390 online for the same.

    Then i got a sms on 15th-nov-2018 that your application required additional documents - ownership proof, so i called on the saral helpline number, to confirm whether i have to visit physically to the sub division office (Farukhnagar) to submit the ownership...

    i am from middle class family, dont have television from last 3 years, refrigerator not working from 4 months, no ac, no gyser. Bill problem started when we got bill of 65000 Rs, we tried too hard, so many times went to dvbhn office, no one listen to us. Now its enough for us, just forget last year, let see this year only.

    In july i got the notification of bill 6405, so paid it through paytm. Now in sep bill i got bill of 25048 Rs they said u didnt submit the bill of july. How can be it possible. And it is posiible that we got so much bill, when we are running the same things. Now agar in November, its winters we got 20742 Rs bill. In july and in November, their is seriously some mistake. But no one is listening again. I seriously thinking of going to consumer court. Is this a game, , suddenly reading raise up not double even triple. Revert me as soon as possible.

      I shampy shergill resident of faridabad, haryana. I am living in jawahar colony, a small town in faridabad. I am facing issue in my electricity bill, before anything i want to clear we dont have television, ac, gyser at our home.
      Here is the unit
      In may 1012, july 2446, september 946, novem 2602, this is going on, that 1 bill we got high then we got normal, wether its winters or summers, bill will be come only according to electricity board, how come its possible that in summer we got 946 unit and in winter we got 2602 unit, i am doing job, even not in th house for 12-13 hours, no electricity was running. I visited the electricity office no one listen to us i had atalk with sdo also, he even didnt listened properly.

        We are resident of sun city township staying on rent, sector 54 gurgaon (Haryana). We have received an electricity bill of around 12 thousand for the month of august/september from discom dhbvn. Our heart sank when we first read the particulars of the bill. “the maximum bill that we usually pay is of around 3000 max. We consume power frugally.”

        We first filed a complaint at the discom’s complaint center - sub division office. “ we got no response from them and then we filed an online complaint. Complaint number: cmpg[protected] and cmpg[protected] but nothing came of it. We messaged my bill details to the subdivision officer and also visited his office to apprise him but to no avail. Even we paid the amount for lab test and no one came to test the meter. We think it’s a clerical error and must be worked on for. We are highly disappointed from your service and if the solution is not provided we shall then raise the concern to the higher authority. We have all the documents i. E. Lab test amount payed receipt, previous months electricity bills. Online complaint numbers. Please action it as soon as possible.

MrPradeep took my mob no [protected] on 28/11/18 next day 29/11/18 I also talk to Mr Pradeep And Mr Rahul over phone he told me send A/c no and address through sms again I talk to Mr Rahul he told me sending somebodyto take reading and inform me.Till date no information recd .             Dear team,

            We have been receiving very high amount bills continually for last one year despite the fact that there is really minimum power consumption in the house; yet we receive peak amounted bills. I personally walked into the department to know the reason and they re-issued the bill to me and told the bill amount will be negated and i don't need to pay for next month, too as there was surplus amount added to my bill that was a satisfactory resolution as the next bill that i received was negative. However, the same trend recurred as i again got the heavy amount to be paid off.

            Kindly resolve this ongoing trouble for me.

              Bill for the month of sep-2018 has been inflated 10 times. Presently no one is living in the house from past 3 years. Then how come billing of electricity of 10, 314/-rs. It has been informed that dhbvn were taking average billing. This average billing were paid regularly.
              And now suddenly whooping 10 times as meter is already dead from last 3 years.
              What is the basis of this whooping? No one can explain and just pay for the bill.
              Why dhbvn is informing now that we have to pay for this much and what is there basis when no one is staying.

It is very dangerous to life, many time person have attached with wire and also the vehicle have crushed the wire many time by which the wire is very down and person can catch them easily. The heavy vehical stretch the wire by reason to down the wire.                     I would like to inform you that sundry charges/allowances which is equal to 50% on total bill amount newly charged by dhbvn in domestic bill even though there were already existing so many charges claimed by dhbn like:
                    * fuel surcharge adjustment
                    * electricity duty
                    * municipal tax
                    Although there are no any new service given by dhbvn so why this extra charged claimed by dhbvn.

                      The issues refers to a residential electricity connection at c1 block, ansal palam vihar, gurgaon.

                      I intend to bring into your attention two inflated billing issues.

                      In the first instance, an inflated bill (Bill no:[protected] with an issue date of 29/11/2017) of amount inr 20, 894/- was generated against the above referred account number. This amount was way above what we have been paying (Inr[protected] per billing cycle). My father ran from pillar to post and met almost all concerned officers at dhbvn office at sub division: g24-maruti. He was given assurances but nothing was done. I even wrote an email at the local grievance office at the email id [protected]@dhbvn.org.in dated 22 jan 2018, but received a very curt reply that the bill is correct and nothing can be done. As my father had met the grievance officers, we were hoping that the bill would be rectified soon. Unfortunately this was not to be so. One day a field staff from dhbvn arrived at our residence and said that he has come to disconnect the electricity supply as the bill has not been paid. Since, i stay abroad, my father connected me to the person on phone and i paid the entire amount of inr 20, 894/- with late fine online there and then on the spot. My father spent another few months requesting the dhbvn office to look into the inflated bill and refund the extra amount paid but all his requests fell on deaf ears.

                      Now, this is a second instance where an inflated bill is again generated (Bill no:[protected] with a issue date of 04/10/2018) and the amount is a whopping 5-digit figure totaling inr 48, 059/-. I am not sure under what basis such inflated bills are being generated. At my home flat in gurgaon, only 3 persons reside.

                      Considering the above two events, i am approaching your forum as a last resort with a hope that dhbvn will do a proper investigation to ascertain this erratic electricity billing and expect that a refund of the excess amount (Inr 20894/-) paid (Against bill no:[protected] with an issue date of 29/11/2017) is made. Further, i want the current bill (Bill no:[protected] with a issue date of 04/10/2018) of inr 48, 059/- be amended to reflect the genuine power consumption.
                      Hoping for an expedited redressal of my grievance.

                        Our service main is overheating and sparking on daily basis, either the cable rating is low or loose connections done by a cheap department dhbvn.
                        Please rectify the problem otherwise there might be a big fire in meter box and in our houses, dhbvn will be responsible for that damage (For human life also).

                          Wire is not there
                          Wire should be purchased by custmor
                          Wire will be issued by department, so you should wait for it

                            We have observed that the electricity billing are quite high from last couples of months.

                            I have checked and taken meter reading today 18-oct-2018 and the reading is 4208 and the bill, which we received, where the reading was taken on 11-oct-2018 and that was 4130, if i go with this consumption then 78 for 7 days and per day consumption is 7 approx however, the latest electricity bill no.[protected], which shown total consumption is 2082 for 61 days and per day consumption is 34, which is so high if you see the comparison, kindly help to provide the resolution

                              I am anaro devi and living in hno 182 surya nagar ii sector 91 faridabad haryana. I regularly pay bill on time but electricity department sending eccess bill, i am 57 years old and a window, this is the worse department, they don't know how to talk consumers. Please take necessary steps against it. They sent us bill of rs 11300 whereas we are paying bill on time, they were saying that they were sending average bill we paid that bill now within one they sent bill of rs 13000 which is totally wrong.

                                Respected sir,

                                This has been observed that electricity bill for above mentioned account has been captured incorrectly for the period of 14.07.2018 to 14.09.2018 of 10599 units. Old reading is 3514 and new reading (Incorrect) : 14113

                                Whereas reading in meter is recorded as 9899 dated 11.10.2018 which clearly states factual proof of incorrect meter reading.
                                So correct new reading should be 9899. Hence total units will be new correct units (9899) - old units (3514) = 6385

                                Would request you to recalculate the bill as per correct meter reading.

                                My bill payment due date is 17.10.2018, so kindly sort this issue before that so that i can pay the correct bill not the incorrect ones.

                                    For the period from 13.07, 2018 to 10.09.2018
                                    I have to submit that i have received a electricity bill from the office of dhbvn to day for the above period with reading from 9417 to 12824 i. E. Of 3407 units @ 7.10 per unit without any slabs.
                                    But i am surprised to note that the today’s reading of my electricity metre is only 12424 while i am getting the bill for reading 12824 as on 10.09.2018.
                                    Sir it is a lapse on the part of the dhbvn and i have to pay the excess amount only due to wrong reading on higher rates as now winter season has started and reading will be less than the stipulated slabs.
                                    Please get my bill rectified for wrong reading as well as, as per slabs available for consumers.

                                      From jan 17 to aug 17 my meter reading was 130 as no one was living at home. I received bill of 22000 for 130 units. After that i requested dhbvn to correct the bill. And nothing has been done from last one year. Getting no response from dhbvn employees at kanhai gurgaon.

                                      In aug 17 i replaced the meter as it got short circuit. From aug 17 till now i have not received any of the bills.
                                      In nov 17 they told me to deposit 22000 bill which was not correct.
                                      They came to cut the meter.
                                      Finally i have to deposited 10840 rs in nov 17.
                                      There is no update of my deposited money and not getting any bills

                                      Really a poor service dhbvn.
                                      Employee don't know anything of their works
                                      Really a bad experience with dhbvn

                                      Visited at least 30 times from aug 17
                                      But now not so free too visit there as nothing is gonna be done.

                                      Finally gonna file a case in court against dhbvn.
                                      Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
