sir, my eletricity meter with a/c no. QD-3843-A named from veena kalra has to be burnt last week.this was the 3-phase meter & after my 3-4 complaints in respective manner now it is working on a single phase which too risky for us.also i have done the complete procedural work & given to the area J.E but he couldn't take seriously action about it also fake me to its changing procedure.and the visited persons expected some amount from my side to showing thier interest in this favour.so please chek out this case as soon as possible to avoid any kind of mishappening.

I am a consumer of meter no SC-11 327. The Electrical meter install in my house., diff active in the year 2009, I purchased a meter and deposited it in the office of city sub. div. Ch. Dadri on 24/04/2009 along with testing fees Rs. 75 but my meter as not so fare replace and billing is on average basic which is very hire. We are requested to get my meter replaced. I have visited in office sub. Divn. Ch. Dadri but they not talk us properly they use same time abuse language

    I AM RESIDENT OF SECTOR 11/D FARIDABAD. THERE IS NO ELECTRICITY IN MY HOUSE SINCE 6 SEPT., 9AM.
    COMPLAINTS TO CUSTOMER HELP LINE HAVE NOT YIELDED ANY RESULT SINCE 6/9/10. J.E. AND LINE-MAN TOO COULD NOT HELP. ALL WHAT LINE MAN WHO CAME TO ATTEND MY COMPLAINT on 8th September afternoon WAS THAT HE WANTED MY AILING FATHER (ABOVE 70 YEARS) TO ARRANGE FOR HIGH RISE LADDER IN 2 MINUTES. MY FATHER AT THIS AGE - HOW CAN HE ARRANGE FOR LADDER WHEN NO SUCH FACILITIES EXIST IN SECTOR 11/D MARKET EVEN.

      Sir,

      I would like to draw your attention towards incorrect electricity bill. The meter bill for last two months (18,314) is approximately 3 times the normal

      billing. When we checked it, the meter was not working. It was not working, in last 1 day it has shown sudden jump by 2500 units.
      I have submitted my application in the dhbvn, but nothing has happend.
      I would like to request you that Please look into this matter as this meter is reading jumping suddenly, so the chances is it might jump again.


      Would request to kindly investigate into the matter and do the needful.

        Dear Sir,

        This is to bring to your kind consideration that i am a resident of Sidhrawali (Dhani) which gets power distribution from Bhora Kala Substation District Gurgaon.
        We the residents of Sidhrawali (Dhani) gets power supply for only 1 hour a day that too in slots of 15 minutes leading to main folds problem to the residents.

        Moreover there are concerns regarding billing also & when we approach local DHBVN officials they are left with no reply.
        So I am forwarding you my request to deal the matter on high priority so as to avoid inconvenience to local villagers.

        No Power supply since 7 PM yesterday.. no response from Customer Care

        Sicne yesterday 7 PM, there has been no power supply in Gurgaon sector 40, both the DHVBN customer care numbers are unresponsive, not even IVR meesage is being played. For past one week, there have been very frequent powercuts, however we are not intimated about the duration of power cut.

              I am a resident of Sector-52, Gurgaon. My meter is showing a reading of +20,000 at 27 July 2010 from last reading of 4604 at 28 May 2010. My average month consumption is 383 unit and six month consumption is 795 unit (as per Consumer Bill details). From September 2009 to May 2010 my reading totaled 4604 but in just 2 months it has been shooted to +20,000 (amount: ~Rs. 70,000). Please advice

              My account number is PEHT-0151 and name of consumer is Sangeeta Dalmia. Our average consumption is 25units from 8PM to 8 AM. Yesterday the total units consumed is shown 225 which is false consumption. We are noting down daily consumption and record is held with us. Please advice

                Bill for the month of May,201 for Rs.737.00 and bill for the month of July,2010 for Rs.724.00 raised without Meter Reading and excessive in terms of Monthly Minimum Charges.

                In both the Bills Meter Reading (New) shown 0 while the Meter has been running and present Reading is 92.9.

                Both the bills raised on basis of Monthly Minimum Charges i.e. 100 units per month instead of Rs.100.00 per month and hence the Bills are highly excessive.

                While making payment of Bill for the month of May,2010, assurance given by your office that the excess amount of this bill will be adjusted in next bill but I am sorry to say the next Bill i.e. Bill for July,2010 again raised on the same basis and without Meter reading.

                May I request you to please arrange to correct the bill and also adjust excess paid in earlier bill.

                Your office refused to accept my Complaint dated 26.07.2010, copy is enclosed. However, Meter Reader did accept that reading has not been taking since two billing cycles.

                Further, my request, to take meter reading now and get both bills (May,2010 and July,2010) corrected, not accepted. It is advised to me that come after 20 days with then reading.

                It is further adivsed to me that do not pay present bill (July,2010) and accordingly I am not paying the same. Although, on oral assurance given by your office one excess/ wrong bill (May,2010) has already been paid by me.

                In the circumstances, I will not be held responsible for non-payment of the bill and for consequences if any in this regard the Meter Reader will be answerable/ responsible.

                    Through this consumer complaint portal, I want to bring to your kind notice regarding the biasness in power failure in our locality and attrocities and rudeness of employees of electricity board.
                    Due to power load in our sector, multiple number of transformers are there in our sector. SInce last 3 days, the electricity board employee cut - off the fuse of transformer which is feeding electricity in our street. There is power cut for whole off night.
                    Interestingly the cut by the employee is completely biased. When we asked concerned JE, he in a rude manner talked to us and did not give us satisfying answer. When we talked with line man, he told that they are not cutting their power supply, since those people are having political background and make "halla' .
                    When we further insisted than they had switched on the power supply by installing fuse. But after half an hour when people had gone to bed, they further cut out the strip of fuse wire in transformer.

                    All this thing happened around 1'O clock in midnight, and when we called the complaint department of electricity board, one person named "Natthu Ram" picked up the phone and when we enquired about what happened and wether they are going to provide power than his wordings were as : "Teri akele ki thodi gayi hui, jaa so ja, nahi aayegi".

                    This really was shocking and I asked him about his name. And he told "Nathu ram hai, kya kar lega"

                    So I am completely shocked by the rudeness of a government employee.

                    I hereby request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful. Better option is that if government cannot control their employees, than why don't they privatized the service. It will be better for both government and DHBVNL consumers.

                        Please refer to my earlier complaint.

                        Due to wrong entry of meter reading by DHBVN person (A/c No. LL11/0149 K No. [protected]), I had to make an excess payment of approxi. Rs. 1500/-. In Jan. 10 cycle, the reading was shown as 19796 (due to typing error) instead of 20122 and a bill for only 29 units was raised against 355 units actually consumed. In March 10 cycle, consumption of 864 units was shown against actual usage of 538 units. Thus, I had to make payment of Rs. 4701/- (Rs. 970/- for 1st bill PLUS Rs. 3731/- for the 2nd bill) whereas I should have been billed for approx. Rs. 3200/- (Rs. 1250 for 355 units (1st bill) and Rs. 1950/- for 538 units (2nd bill) = 3200/-) thereby excess payment of approxi. Rs. 1500/-. It is requested to kindly refund / adjust the excess payment of Rs. 1500/-.

                        Is there someone to listen genuine complaint of customer?
                        I am even not able to pay on elect bills online due to dhbvn site problems.several online complaints made

                        My complaint is that dhbvn people don't come to check meter reading. They just send bill on guess basis.

                          I started construction of my house at plot No. B-68,Sai Kunj, New Palam Vihar, Phase-III, Gurgaon and applied for permanent connection vide receipt No. 2266/DS (A/c -CT11-6151) dated 25.02.09.

                          The persons from Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited came and said as your house is under construction you cannot get the permanent connection so first apply for temporary connection.

                          I applied for temporary connection vide receipt No. 2419/TC (A/c - PVTC-0247) dated 16.03.09 and after few days my temporary connection was installed. The bill thus raised was paid by me.

                          In November construction of my house was completed and therefore I visit the electricity office requesting for removing the temporary connection and install the permanent connection for which I already paid the fees on 25.02.09.

                          But to my surprise I found that bills are being generated (on average basis) for permanent connection which is not physically installed.

                          I submit an application to SDO for closing my temporary account and adjusting the amount shown on permanent bill against the amount I already paid for that period (for temporary connection), requested that in future only my permanent connection bill be generated and asked for refund of amount I deposited for temporary connection. Since than 4 months has passed and nothing is being done to correct the mistake done by the office.

                          On 03.04.10 i visited to SDO office for following up my complaint he marked the complaint to the LDC Dalbir and JE R.P.Verma, these peoples are keeps me running from one office to another but are not taking any strong steps to solve my grievances. I tried to contact the SDO again, but whenever I go there he is either outside or on leave (as per their staff).

                          Due to this problem I has to take leave for three days and the rest three days my brother visit this office and still the problem has not been solved.

                          This problem not only causing us to pay more money (as per unit rate is higher for temporary connection) but also causing us mental harassment.

                          Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam — Complaint against o/o SDO, Sector-18, Gurgaon for not installing Permanent meter

                          I started construction of my house at plot No. B-68,Sai Kunj, New Palam Vihar, Phase-III, Gurgaon and applied for permanent connection vide receipt No. 2266/DS (A/c -CT11-6151) dated 25.02.09.

                          The persons from Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited came and said as your house is under construction you cannot get the permanent connection so first apply for temporary connection.

                          I applied for temporary connection vide receipt No. 2419/TC (A/c - PVTC-0247) dated 16.03.09 and after few days my temporary connection was installed. The bill thus raised was paid by me.

                          In November construction of my house was completed and therefore I visit the electricity office requesting for removing the temporary connection and install the permanent connection for which I already paid the fees on 25.02.09.

                          But to my surprise I found that bills are being generated (on average basis) for permanent connection which is not physically installed.

                          I submit an application to SDO for closing my temporary account and adjusting the amount shown on permanent bill against the amount I already paid for that period (for temporary connection), requested that in future only my permanent connection bill be generated and asked for refund of amount I deposited for temporary connection. Since than 4 months has passed and nothing is being done to correct the mistake done by the office.

                          On 03.04.10 i visited to SDO office for following up my complaint he marked the complaint to the LDC Dalbir and JE R.P.Verma, these peoples are keeps me running from one office to another but are not taking any strong steps to solve my grievances. I tried to contact the SDO again, but whenever I go there he is either outside or on leave (as per their staff).

                          Due to this problem I has to take leave for three days and the rest three days my brother visit this office and still the problem has not been solved.

                          This problem not only causing us to pay more money (as per unit rate is higher for temporary connection) but also causing us mental harassment.

                          I agree in totality. Their 'couldn't care' attitude is just like what Babus during British rule used to do with then Inidian. There is no accountablity on any official for their inactivity or wrong doings. If you fail to pay up the bribe, rest assured these people will make you run from pillar to post and treat the customer/consumer like roughs. Basically, all rules are made by them which are primarily the same rules made by britishers. These rules put all onous of responsibility on the consumers and the staff or officers from the deptt have no written or questionable accountability.

                          Those officials who do not work should be treated like dogs and should not be respected, irrespective. Instead of bowing down to their demand of bribe, one should take legal route throughconsumer court. LDO Dalbir, JE Verma and SDO Yadav, are all hands in gloves to extract bribe from customers by torturing them until bribe is paid up. Let us be courageous enough to refuse for fear of inconvinience. In fact, consumer court route is less expensive and less inconvinient. Try it.

                          Yes! finally i get it. Thanks to RTI Act. I lodge an RTI application regarding the my pending cases. The initial reply of SDO was not satisfactory so I file First Apeal and not surprisingly I got the call from SDO and Party for settlement of the case.

                          Dear Sir,

                          All of our colony member submit application for electrifiaction in our colony Roshan Nagar, Agwanpur, Faridabad last 3 years that is from 2011. In 2011 all documents signed by SDO for our areas electrificaion. Then in 2012 SDO gives our colony Transfermer & electic Pole. Then in 2013 all transfermer poles pending accordingly. No one do this work. Every day our member visit SDO Chamber for this work. SDO said I do this immidiately. But till now he can't do this work. What we can do pl. suggest.

                            i am 60 years old man having a house in faridabad (F-48 sector 10 DLF Faridabad,121006). the electrical department concern person who takes the meter reading had taken the wrong reading and accordingly he issued the bill with inflated amount ,the same was brought in to the notice to the officers like JE and others but they always make the new excuses, i had visited the board office almost more that 7 days continuously but its not been rectified and sorted out yet

                              I had made a payment of Rs.1,55,625/- Dt-8th jan 2010 by Chq No.021354, Axis Bank, Agaisnt Bill No.9326156 for the Period of 30Th Sep 09 to 7Th Dec 09, On Average Basis Bill. s per final outstanding But Still payment not adjusted in my A/c.
                              Lots of reminders and personally visit to DHBVNL off at Kadi Pur, Gurgaon ( Sdo, CA-Mr. Dagar, Clerk-Mr. Lal Chand) but payment still not adjusted.

                                hi,

                                I am residing in New Colony,Gurgaon since 2000.
                                from last ten years my problem is that there is working high tension wires are very near to my terrace.
                                when contacted authorities at sector-4,gurgaon.
                                had been assured to take necessary action soon however nothing moreover no representation is being made till date as well.

                                have a three months old child & therefore really concerned on the matter.
                                tried to lodge complaint on line but not succesful at thier site & at call center they are not ready to lodge complaint against the listed concern.
                                wonder how authorities can play with life of residents?
                                can anybody help in getting the matter resolved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                  I Neeraj kumar residing in new Baselwa colony Old Faridabad.There is a very Major Electricity power interuption in starting of summer.the power cuts begins 6 A.M morning & continuing late nights .Electricity comes 15 minutes in every 2 Hours.

                                  Their is no redressal to our problems and a Colony has been converted worse than a slum.

                                  This is routine every summers and DHBVNL have not upgraded their distribution netwroks and transformers. Its pathetic and your intervention will make them accountable.

                                  Electricity — Interruption in electricity

                                  Sir,

                                  Please take a not of my previous complaint on 14 Febryary 2009. The situation has not been changed yet. I think this is because the KSEB officials are playing a game. The response time of complaint management is very ineffective. Today as usual, the power failed on 7.00 PM ( on single line only). I have informed at the same instant to both Sreekariyam section and the emergency unit. But the supply came only at 9.00PM. Why such a delay? What is the use of emergency unit? There is only 2 1/2 Km from the Sreekariyam section office to the said transformer. And they have thereon vehicle. There is no complicated issues with it. (They know because o[censored]nequal distribution of load the fuse has gone. And they know which fuse)
                                  Shall KSEB take action against the person responsible for this?
                                  I have asked KSEB sreekariyam section about the action taken on the complaints given by me to KSEB in written document. No response yet and no remedy also

                                      My residance is -C-1/-647-2nd floor-Palam vihar-Gurgaon. I have -ED-3969 and -Con A/C-no.PX05-0838.

                                      From-Sept-2008-to-Bill no-5882691,6501515,7100296,the electric department showing zero, and in bill no-00352-meter reading are-2804, butin bill no-00404 the meter reading are-2804,and in bill no-00274 the meter reading are-2804, but in bill no-00326, they electric deptt. showing meter reading are-41672. this electric meter is giving wrong reading or jumping.

                                      I have summit the fee for new meter-recept. no-61-Rs-1600/- and for meter testing I have summit-Rs-100/- on recept. no-299 on[protected], and I have summit Rs-450/- for meter box-recep. 66072-dt[protected].
                                      I am ready to pay my geinun amt.
