[Resolved]  Dani Fashions — Poorly Handled Complaint on Defective Merchandise

Hello, I would like to bring to the attention of all customers who are interested in shopping online from Dani fashions that they are not very helpful in resolving problems. I purchased a bollywood replica saree online in December 2013, when I received the sari there were stains on the net portion of the saree, it was very visible considering that net portion was beige. I emailed and reported that matter, my email was ignored. On sending my 3rd email to Mr Brijen Dani ( attached pictures of the defective saree) he responded saying that this may be stains from the factory and I should have the saree dry cleaned and they would reimburse me for the costs. I had trouble finding a dry cleaner who would take on the risk on dry-cleaning this saree and most were closed due to the festive period here in South Africa. I informed Dani fashions that was having difficulty in finding a dry cleaner - again there was NO response to the email. I finally did have the item dry cleaned and the stains are still there. I have informed Dani Fashions and here was there response: ************* Respected Madam, Hope you will be doing well, We are apologies for the delay reply please accept our apology, Madam you can sent the saree back to our office address, please take in to your consideration that the return shipping charge will be bear by you and the sending new product that shipping charges also bear by you as per company T&C. If you have any query or suggestion please feel free to discuss with us we will be happy to assist you. ************ I replied to this email saying that it is unfair as the cost that I will incur will be more than what the saree costed me in the first place. It has been 10 days since I sent the email and still NO REPLY from Dani fashions. Its is shocking that they are not even willing to reimburse me for something that was THEIR was their fault. There is not attempt at making any amends to this matter, and no reimbursement was even given for the dry cleaning costs either I caution all shoppers to please be aware when making purchases from this site, and if there is anyone who can help me escalate this matter further please send me suggestions. I am actually disgusted with the way everything has been handled and I feel like I have been cheated. I hope that they have some sense and reimburse me for my purchase.
