I had subscribed for both Deccan Herald (1 year) and PrajaVani (10 months) vide Receipt no. DHS 6875 and PVS 6868 both dated[protected]. Subscription for Deccan Herald is for the period[protected] to[protected], and for Prajavani is for the period[protected] to[protected]. The payment of Rs.1, 848 (i.e Rs.949+Rs.899) by cheque no.71809 drawn on SBI Vijayanagar Bengaluru, is cleared by my banker on[protected]. I could not get both the daily newspapers due to COVID19 lockdown till May 2020, and on persuasion, the delivery of both papers started on 02 June 2020, and hence you have deliver Prajavani to me for 10months from the start date of 02June2020 till[protected], and Deccan Herald till[protected]. I hope that you will suitably instruct my vendor Sri Santosh Madeswar to deliver the subscribed newspapers as indicated above, with a written intimation to me at the earliest.

I could not reach you by phone as the nos provided are not existing as per TP dept. Even the email sent to [protected]@deccanherald.co.in was not delivered.

Please inform me about further offers if any, made by your company.

I am Anand C Shettar I took the Prajavani one year subscription by paying Rs.899 in 5th Feb 2020 after 5th Feb 2020 I hardly got 60days news papers, now the local vendor stopped supply the paper and told we not giving monthly money to him so he will not supply, why I have to subscription if I wanted to pay and book from local vendor? I called to concern person Purushotham he said he left the company he suggested one more Name Bharath he also left the company he said, if so who will support to resolve my query, I am not at happy with the service providing by Deccan team, if any one come forward and refund the money asap if you people not able to provide the papers.

I have paid on line subscription for Deccan Herald on 15.10.2019 for 1 year based on the advertisement circulated at my flat in Prestige Tranquility. For the past 10 days I have mot been getting the newspaper in spite of my repeated requests. The local vendor says he doesn't have spare copies and asked me to contact the company. The local company agent who canvassed the annual subscription is not responding to my messages and calls. Please redress my grievance immediately. This is a matter of reputation issue to DH.

I was extremely disappointed to read the headline which does not differentiate the death of the indian soldier who sacrificed his life for the country and the militant who was an external intruder whose main intention was to disturb the peace and security...

A soldiers death which should be termed as martyrs and that is the gratitude we are paying to the real heroes of our country instead of the term killed.

This could be rephrased to pay respect to the ones who give their today for our tomorrow...

On contacting your agent he says that he not reciveing scheme newspapers and hence unable to deliver the same.

Inspite of full payment of subscription we have not received any information/ subscription from your agent / dh customer care

Please make necessary arrangements for delivery of newspaper or return the subscription amount. Pl. Note our subscription started from 19/02/2020. Contact number [protected]

We have been subscribing deccan hearald for the past 2 years on yearly subscription. Recently for past one week paper has not supplied. On enquiring the agent mr. Basavaraj/basavappa ([protected]) told that due to lock down, the supplies of newspaper effected and it should be restore on30 th of march. However the paper supplied from 30th onwards there is no supplementary copies and missing pages between the numbers mentioned in front page of newspaper.

Dear sirs,

1) on 30th may, 2019 a man named
Vijay singh +[protected] rang me in the night at about 10.30 saying he wanted buy some items advertised by us in the olx

2) he said his wife will pickup the item from us the next morning

3) he said since he is in the military services and has to attend the duties in the morning, wanted to pay the amount immediately and asked me whether i have the phonepe account;

4) when i said i have, he said to open the phonepe account and said he has sent 4900/-; he was continuously talking and said if i press ‘yes’ the amount will be credited to my account;
Since i am a senior citizen and the call came in the late night as he had the knack to talk continuously, not giving time for me to think, i did what he said and found that 4900/- gone from my account to him; when i realised he has sent one other similar request for 5000/- and started saying this and that when i cut his call and switched off the mobile;

5) i had sleepless night and to my surprise next day early morning at about 7 he had the adocity to call me again;
When i scolded him and said i will go to the police regarding his cheating he said he will return the amount 4900/- and wanted me to open phonepe account again; then i disconnected his call and blocked his number;
6) so i lost the money and tried to get help from phonepe regarding this fraud but they said nothing could be done as the amount has already gone to him;
So thought i will report this fraud to the deccan herald to publish, as it will be useful for others

I am not getting my daily copy of deccan herald paper since 4days despite calling mr venkatesh murty and sreeram number of times. I have taken annual subscription for the paper from[protected]., after paying rs.749/-which is valid upto[protected]vide receipt no. Pys 57662. The above cited two persons are not talking over phone when icall them. Infact they don't have the courtesy to lift the phone. This is my complaint against them as well. I therefore request the concern ed to look into the matter and arrange for the earliest supply of paper. With regards — roopa katti and dr. Vyasraj katti.

Sir, no news paper has been received since 4th feb 19 though my subscription validity is till 31 may 19.
I also reported the same to davangere office and contacted several times to chief executive of deccan herald davangere.
Still no result.
Had i known this type of service from you, i would not have subscribed the same.
Neither i would like to suggest anybody to subscribe also.

I had a annual subscription from 1 jan 2018 to 31 dec 2019 at mangalore
Despite asking yor subscription executive mr nagesh of mangalore from mid dec2018 of which i have cal records as welll cal details to collect my subscription amount he did not heed to my request, latter i spoke to mr prakash who asked to make payment to a agent at kstrc stall mangaloe on 1st week of jan 2019 now when icall nagesh he said the offer is closed and was rude and told me we don't mind loosing one customer

Many vendors establish a shop on foot path, near bus stops, parks, near metro stations and near residences for selling cigarettes, inconvenienceing the public especially the ladies and children with the harmful passive smoking. The authorities of bbmp and police have become mute spectators and are not vaccating these shops. Many children who are keen on learning may cultivate this bad habit. I request the authorities and the government to bring a law so that, the selling of cigarettes shall be carried in the outskirts of the city with valid license only. And also they shall establish cabins for smoking without harming the public. Will dh bring an article for the awareness of public and also file public interest litigation in the matter of banning smoking in the city and selling of cigarettes shall be with only valid license and cabins for smoking.

I had opted for annual subscription of deccan herald news paper. I paid the. Amount by cheque no.091423 dated.17/10/2017 for rs.749/ which was paid on 31/10/2018.
Hither too the paper was being supplied by kumar paper agent. Subseqently the same was transferred to one raju, of roopa agency. Post transfer the problems have been very frequent resulting in non supply of paper for days together.
Though the subscription is to end this month i have not been getting the paper for the past 5 days. On contacting the paper delivery boy he said the subscription has ended which is not so.
I have contacted mr. Rahul innumerable times on his phone no, [protected] he has been making futile promises to look into the matter. Today also i called him but no response.
Would you look into the matter and keep me posted, may i suggest that non redressal of grievances would hamper the image of the paper.

In spite of numerous efforts to gain a confirmation on the donation payment made, i have not received any acknowledgement yet from deccan. I am being made to run from pillar to post. There is no one giving any confirmation on whether the payment has gone to the intended recipient. This is hard earned money and no one is doing it for their name in the newspaper. Its done appreciating the fact that deccanherald has taken up an initiative like this. If they cannot live upto it, they should not pretend to be one.

I had made annual subscription towards the supply of the paper and the paper was delivered regularly till yesterday the 9-6-18. However the agency m/ s. Renuka paper agency palace guttahalli malleswaram informed me that from today onwards he will not be delivering from today due to some difference with your agent and asked me contact mr. Ravi over phone no.[protected] for regular supply here afterwards.in spite of my calls mr. Ravi has not picked up my calls. I do understand any one can give advertisements on a paper, but seriously are you trying to say i have to learn some other language to understand your paper???

I would like to understand if my perception is wrong or we have to deal with this anyways!

I had subscribed for annual subscription of deccan herald through their agent by paying rs. 899/- during janauary 2018. The delivery was promised from feb 2018. However the same was not done as promised. After calling so many numbers provided on the receipt, the delivery started. But it is highly irregular, only twice or thrice in a week, the paper is delivered. Complaints made to the following numbers has not yielded any results.

Hi sir this is to inform you that i am kushbu gadiya working as a lecturer in pta school. I have noticed that my photograph with my students in the school has been published on 8 march 2018 without my permission. Neither the school nor me has been noticed about the photograph which was published. I kindly request you to know the facts about who has published the photograph without my permission because i was been asked about the photograph, so please update me the concerned person who has given you the photograph it is been appeared in the deccan herald main paper page 18. I shall be waiting for your reply as the matter is a little serious an emergency because it has put me into humiliating situation

In deccan herald edition, dated 03/03/2018, page number 2 there is a photo with the title - easing traffic, which states the flyover at delmia junction in jp nagar was opened for public on friday (02/03/18), however this is not true and the flyover is not opened yet. (Photo attached)
Moreover the news states that there is a yoga centre, playground, skating and cycling tracks under the flyover - which is again not true, there is just space filled with mud under the flyover. (Photo attached)

This news is misleading and misguiding the viewers.

Request for necessary action to be taken up against this news.

Inspite of advance payment of one yr newspaper bill on 8th jan, (Receipt number 48469) we r yet to receive newspaper since past 5 days. We have made over a dozen phone calls to everyone concerned.. And received only one reply "we will look into the matter". How many more days will u keep looking?
U will definitely lose ur loyal customers to ur inefficiency
