I am one of the resident of Kar Kar Dooma Village Gali no 2 . Our area is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water just like sever water from last 2 years which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It smells like it comes from Sever line. On 1st March (Holy) the water is coloured. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue and already made some persons hospitalised.
We hope that our government will take some strict action in this matter.

Dear Concerned,
We residents of Radhey Puri,Block-A, facing shortage of drinking water, the water supply is not regular or in time and water is dirty and contains un-torreable bad smell , it can not be used even for washing.

I want to draw your attention towards a
village which situated within the delhi but it's became a battle these
days. There is no any reason here except drinking water supply problem that is
big problem over here when temprature is 46-47 degree celcius . There is no
water supply from last seven days and every person becomes a giant for
the other person.
I think you can understand that when we leaves in delhi but survive
like people who suffering from femine. Hope you will give response as
soon as possible and provide proper routine for water supply over here.

Subject: Regarding inappropriate supply of water.
I applicant Raza Ahmed s/o Habibur Rehman, resident of C- 228/14 A, street no 10, chauhan banger, New Seelampur, Delhi – 110053. Jal board is not giving us the proper supply of water. Water does not come if it comes then it comes for a very less time period. Water comes in stopping motion. Occasionally dirty water also comes. There is no time fixed for coming of water. For this we could get needy amount of water but we could not get even needy amount of water because of no time fixed of that. Around from past one month this problem of water coming or not coming has been there with us. And as the days passes this problem getting more serious and big. We complaint on this number [protected] regarding inappropriate of supply of water several times. But no response we get till now. For this inappropriate supply of water people are extremely in trouble. And people are forced to drink hand pump water. For this there is always a possibility for becoming ill. If any disease would spread with this then jal board will be responsible for this. So we are forced to do the complaint.
Please correct this problem as early as possible we would
be very thank full to you.

DELHI JAL BOARD IS NOT SUPPLYING WATER SINCE 8TH MAY 2012 AT JB BLOCK, KHIRKI EXTENSION, MALVIYA NAGAR, NEW DELHI. WE HAVE BEEN TO DELHI JAL BOARD G.K. PART I OFFICE SEVERAL TIMES, WE HAVE SUBMITTED THE WRITTEN COMPLAINTS TO THEM ON THE RWA LETTER HEAD FOR OUR BLOCK THAT THE WATER IS NOT SUPPLIED TO US SINCE LAST 20 DAYS, HOWEVER, NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN, THERE ARE AROUND 100 FAMILIES WHO ARE SUFFERING BECAUSE OF THIS. THE ISSUE IS KNOW TO ALL THE TOP OFFICIALS OF DELHI JAL BOARD BUT TILL DATE NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN. IT IS VERY SHAMEFUL TO SAY THAT WE ARE STAYING IN DELHI, WE PAY HUGE TAXES, HOUSE TAX AND WHAT WE ARE GETTING IN TURN, NO WATER FOR THE LAST 20 DAYS AND STILL CONTINUING. IT IS A VERY SHAMEFUL SCENARIO AND STRICT ACTION NEEDS TO BE TAKEN. WE REALLY HOPE THIS COMPLAINT IS FORWARDED TO ALL OFFICIALS OF DJB WHO MUST TAKE SOME ACTION TO RESOLVE IT. IF THEY HAVE TO SURVIVE WITHOUT WATER FOR THE LAST 20 DAYS THEN THEY WILL COME TO KNOW HOW IT FEELS.

Dear Sir,

I lodged a complaint on phone at Phone No.[protected] at 9.30 P.M. and informed that a Mainhole on the road in front of Square of Plot No. B/9- 170 to 176, Sector-05, Rohini, Delhi-85, the complaint no. given is 421. The Bad smelled dirty water with rubbish is comming out of it on the road-side in front of our residence space. The bad smell of it is very dangerous for health o[censored]s and the people passing on the road. I request you to please look in to it and remove the complain to help us give relief for better health in this very hot summer.

An early action is request to please do the needful immediately.

I have received water bill for Rs. 5,353.00 period 26.09.2011 to 09.05.2012 from Delhi Jal Board. The bill is highly inflated. For example : My bill for period 17.06.2011 to 26.09.2011 was only Rs.284.29. The water consumption diring this period ( 100 days) was only 28 KL. this is an average consumption of .28 Kl per day.

The inflated bill # 623213 shows water consumption of 243 Kl for 223 days which works out to be 1.1 KL per day. This is not possible since nothing has been added to the house which can result into increase of 3 times the normal.

Request that my bill must be reveiwed .

Dear sir/Madam,
I am the resident of Pandav nagar, behind Delhi Police Aptt, Mayur Vihar Ph-1, New Delhi-91.
This application is very important to bring to your notice about the contaminated water since more than eight months that we are facing. Sewer water is being supplied through drinking water line. This has become a regular practice now I have gone through many complaints and application being marked to DJB, and people...

My area is 14/SZ-2, sub area code is A-9, Water connection no. is 42938, meter reader code is 513/, consumer no is [protected]. In the Delhi Jal Board bill no 785077 for the period 01/02/2012 to 23/04/2012, arrears of Rs 585/- have been reflected. This amount had been paid by me on20/02/2012 by cheque for which I have a stamped receipt on the bill. Please reconcile. I further inform that I am making payment of Rs 526 (1111 minus 585) only against the above mentioned bill of Rs 1111/-.

I am sorry to inform you that the delhi jal board has not been supplying the proper water to the residence of village masjid moth near sai baba temple-110049 for last 3/4 days. even the said department has not sending the proper water tanks for the citizens which shows that they do not care about the citizen of India. Now, the citizen of village masjid moth are facing a great difficulty without available/providing of water in summer session. it is requested that a strike against may be taken against the employees of delhi jal board who are not carrying and not taking interest in govt. work even providing water tanks to the villagers. please share me action taken into the matter. my email address is [protected]@yahoo.com (mobile [protected]) .i will be glade for stick action.

I am a resident of Jeewan Park, Uttam Nagar. Our colony receives impure & dirty water, which is unfit for drinking, even after repeated filtration. The water we get through our taps, completely defeats the inherent properties of water. It is usually brown, contains visible impurities & horrible tastes. At times it smells so badly, as if it's coming directly from some drains or sewer.
We don't even feel like washing our clothes from that water, let alone drinking.

We are facing this problem from last 6months or even more then 6months.

I want to know that, if DJB cannot provide safe water for drinking, what can a common man do?

Please help.

I am a resident of H. No.- 4/923 A , street no.- 5, Jharkhandi Marg Bhola Nath nagar, Shahdara, Delhi-110032. Sir, we are receiving very dirty, impure & foul smelling water since more than seven day. the water is so much impure that it is not drinkable. My father, mother, myself & almost all of the member of family had episodes of gastroenteritis due to consumption of this water.
Also in front of our home there is frank sewer leakage and collection of sewerage there due to which there is a great danger of spread of water borne & mosquitoes borne diseases.
So i request you Kindly notice & look in the matter and take necessary steps towards the complaints so as to provide healthy water and environment for health.

We have been getting VERY DIRTY AND UNHYGIENIC WATER SUPPLY which SMELLS LIKE GUTTAR WATER. We are having this problem since last 1 month. We have even complained many times but no one seems to pay attention to our complaint. One more problem is that, we get water only at night around 2 a.m. to 3a.m. , which is totally unearthly time to give water supply. Request the authorities to take action immediately. We have been complaining to DELHI JAL BOARD OFFICE REGULARLY.

Hi I m pushpinder singh, grandson of Shri Ajit Singh, residence of F-218, Vishnu garden, New delhi - 110018.

Our complaint is toward Excess amount of bill without Meter reading.

Today on 27.april.2012, we got our water bill of Rs. 1802 without any meter reading. Our water meter is working properply but the word ''Defective'' has written on that bill. As we know none of your employee come here in our area and check the reading of our meters.

On the other hand, last year we had a bill of approximately Rs. 6000 without any meter reading and defective is written on the bill.

Hi, this is to bring to your kind notice that, there were new water meters which were installed on 17th of April 2012 in the afternoon. However, after the people engaged into the installation departed, the meter pipe was found leaking terribly. The same was informed on the help line number [protected] the same day(17th April,2012) and got a TAT to fix the problem within 48 hours. However, no one turned up within the given time period and thus the reminder was given thrice by yesterday(20th April, 2012 when an executive of the helpline number(Ms. Bharti) committed that someone would come today(20the April,2012)for sure to fix the problem. Again, no one turned up. As per the installers, The reputed Delhi Jal Board has given contract to L&T to install new water meters and they commit to give free services for next 5 years. But, it is observed that the services are not upto the mark from the beginning so how come they can commit for a proper services on a single call.

This has been found ridiculous and thus made me put this blog to find a way as if we ask a private plumber to fix the problem then we have to shell out money from our own pocket and overall the warranty goes null & void from the installers.

Kindly look into the matter as this matter of lodging a complaint online has been informed to the helpline people at 10.43AM today(21st April, 2012)

This is also to understand that how we people can reply on such kind of services in this daily busy life.

The area I am talking about is LIG Flats, GTB Enclave.
