Delhi Jal Board — Disruption in Water Supply for Over Two Months

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to bring to your immediate attention an urgent matter concerning the absence of water supply in our locality for the past 57 to 62 days. This prolonged disruption has caused significant inconvenience and distress to the residents, affecting daily life and hygiene.

We understand that maintaining a vast water supply network is challenging, and unexpected issues can arise. However, the duration of this disruption is beyond reasonable, and there has been no communication regarding the cause or the expected resolution time.

We kindly request the Delhi Jal Board to take swift action to restore the water supply and provide us with an update on the situation. Access to clean water is a fundamental need, and we hope for a prompt resolution to this matter.
I would also like to inform you that I have registered a complaint on 26th May 2024 through the 1916 helpline. The complaint number is DJB[protected] and this complaint is assigned to JE Mr Vinay Kumar ([protected]). But Mr Vinay Kumar is not responding over the phone. This step has been taken to ensure that the issue is logged formally and to expedite the resolution process.
