Delhi Jal Board — Giving wrong information of water meter reading by meter reader

Dear sir/ ma'am.

This is to inform you that today at around 16:30 hrs, one of the Delhi jal board ( meter reader ) employee, came at my residence and after checking my water meter reading he told me that your water meter showing bill of 7000 to 8000 rs. After telling me this he ask me should I save the readings. I said you save if bill will come I will check it my self. Sir, that employee of Jal board was trying by giving me false information for some money / bribe. He didn't said me directly for but he was trying after putting me in threat by giving wrong information regarding my water bill. To check the same I immediately called at call centre of Delhi jal board and they told me that sir you need not to pay any bill according to your meter reading. I experience such thing first time and this is a big threat for everybody because mostly they are coming at day time when mans are out from home and only ladies are there. And these kind of person can do anything ( criminal activities). The same thing happened with me last month and the person was same, he told his name is vibrant.
