I am writing to report a serious issue of water contamination in our locality. For the past few days, the tap water supplied to our homes has a foul smell and a yellowish-brown color. Many residents have experienced health issues, including stomach infections and skin rashes, likely due to this contaminated water.
Despite regular payment of water bills, we are receiving unclean and unsafe water, which is not only unhygienic but also poses a serious health hazard, especially for children and the elderly.
We request the Delhi Jal Board to urgently investigate the matter, test the water quality, and resolve the issue at the earliest. Safe drinking water is a basic necessity and a right of every citizen.
