Delhi Jal Board — Sub: Request for issuing of 3 mths. Water bill instead of 6 months. Water bill issued against K.No.[protected] for Rs.4851// | |||
Hon'ble Sir, I, as a Sr. Citizen, request you to submit to your kind honour as under: A new water connection (Domestic) was taken against K No. [protected] on 24/3/2021 by me at my Residence : I-7/46, Second Floor, sector 16, Rohini, Delhi-89, after having done all the formalities/permission taken from the concerned DJB's office at Rohini Zone. Consequently thereto, a Bill, as generated by DJB vide it's Bill No.[protected] dt. 25/3/21 against K. No.[protected](copy attached) for Rs.4160/- was paid online on 24/3/2021 as per photocopy of screenshot attached. The domestic water at the above mentioned premises was consumed/utilized only by a single family. During the period of 3 months, Water Meter Reader from the above mentioned DJB'S office had never come to record the Meter reading to us earlier nor has issued any bill or sent any message prior to the present bill. All the previous dues against K. No.[protected] had been cleared on 25/3/21 but your office has sent me a fresh water bill (domestic) for the period from 17/1/21 to25/7/21 (6 months) instead of 3 months charges i.e. from 25/3/21 to 25/7/21 for an exaggerated amount of Rs. 4850/-. So, the rectified bill with required corrections may please be issued to me enabling me to relieve me mentally & financially by depositing the bill to the DJB'S office early. 2.That, the present bill also includes the excess period from 1st January, 2021 to 24th March, 2021 as all the dues of previous bill of Rs.4160/- as generated for New Water Connection (Domestic) was paid by me on 24/3/1021 ( Copy attached) So, this above three months period must be excluded from the present bill paid on 24/3/2021 as no dues for the above earlier is pending prior to the period 24/3/2021. It is also requested to make arrangement to send proper bill as per the procedure followed bt the DJB earlier. As per the procedure laid by the hon'ble CM, per month bill with concession as feasible may please be followed to save the the laymen from financial burden like me. It is also informed that after a great struggle, a new connection taken and previous bill was also paid to the DJB'S office on the same day when I contacted to u over phone for the struggles faced by me at the time of new connection. I hope your goodself will relieve me by taking prompt action & enabling me to deposit the fresh bill on time when regenerated/issued for the period as requested above.
