I am a resident of g-195, pushkar enclave, paschim vihar, delhi 110063
From past 2 months our djb water smells like sewer water and is totally unfit for consumption. We have been relying on the ground water for our daily needs. Even after making numerous complaints with the djb and after their team taking samples a number of times (Which everytime came as bad quality), nothing has been done in this matter so far. I also lodged a grievance with the department of administrative reforms and grievances vide complaint number dodws/e/2020/00053. After that, a team from djb arrived and confirmed that the entire water line is faulty as it is very old and there are more houses in my lane which are also affected. They said that the je has been informed of the situation and an action shall be taken. But nothing has happened so far.
Today my complaint with department of administrative reforms and grievances was disposed off saying that the water is normal and fit for consumption. This is gross negligence on the djb's part and a clear intent that they don't care for our well being. Hope my issue reaches the right eyes and ears. Was this information helpful? |
