I draw you attention towards malpractices followed by DTC conductors to usurp DTC funds.

I boarded route no. 116 /bus no. C-8526 DLIP from Rana Partap Bagh to Railway Station on 17.6.2011. The bus reached railway station at 3.10PM

At Kashmere Gate a team of DTC vigilance officers with wireless set in hand boarded the bus. The conductor immediately gave Rs5/- ticked to three boys charging rupees fifteen in all. On enquiry by the vigilance officers the boys informed that they had boarded the bus from Badli to Railway station and have initially paid Rs 45/- (15X3) to the bus conductor.

The officers immediately took notice of it and got signed the statements of boys and completed the formalities. Only formality left was to mention the statement in the compliant book and inform the relevant authorities by wireless.

At railway station all the passengers got down. The conductor was reluctant to produce complaint book while the officer was insisting for it. I saw the conductor requesting and negotiating with the vigilance officer for not taking any action in the matter.

Anyway, new passengers started boarding the bus and I too had to leave the place.

In the circumstances, I am afraid the officers may have compromised the situation with the conductor thereby giving losses to DTC and boosting corruption instead of crushing.

An appropriate action should be taken in public interest against the culprits, be it conductor or the team of vigilance officers, in case found guilty.

    Time : 8 pm 24 June 2011- Lajpat Nagar Stop.
    Conductor was arguing with me of no reason in giving seat next to him.
    He even pushed me.

    Is this what DTC welcomes you by Humiliation?
    Bus karo Say no to tarffic jam all these words become useless when someone start abusing u publically...i have to change the bus on the next stop to get away from this...and that was the last time was using DTC Bus.

      1. frequency of DTC from palam to CGo complex (727)is very poor sepecailly morning time 10-12 AM
      2. 727 buses of same route runs back to back and that way stupidity because one bus chase another and goes with very few passenger while other bus with seconds margin is fully jam packed.
      3. driver for bus no DL-1PC9516 did not drive on time schedules even when there is no traffic jam problem

      I was traveling on Route No. MUNDRIKA SERVICE (-) DTC low floor green bus (Bus No.DL 1PB9767 on[protected] evening hour around 7.45 pm. The bus was going towards sarai kale khan the bus reached in south ex. I intimated the bus driver to stop the bus in my next stop of south ex The Driver didn't stop the bus at bus stand and sarai kale khan and said me at this stop no passenger rides . he not only stop the bus but he used the statement You are only one person . You'll get rid of bus at next stop. When I said Is this a rule of DTC. After that he used abusive language .Really I got surprised to here this kind of words from a DTC bus driver. Since all buses are stopping there, why this bloody driver refused to stop?. Therefore, I kindly request your goodness to look into the matter and take immediate necessary action against him.My Ticket Number Is[protected]
      then he drops me at andrews ganj stop where to i get the another bus wait for more than 40 minutes 440 route, Ticket no.[protected]


      I don't know why govt has approve for without code of conduct, the Driver told if the bus is mine i will drop you at ashram,

      Due to negligence of DTC conductor and driver the passenger will bear the money and waste of time,

      i don't know who will bear the money. This is major Fault of DTC
      when the Blue Line Bus cancel the services the DTC has monopoly to road

        I had travelled in Low Floor AC bus on 14th June 2011, route no. 522SPL, bearing no.- DL 1P 7094, that left Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Terminal at around 07:40pm. The AC was set on 29 degrees whweras the outside temperature was around 30 degrees. After tellin the conductor and driver no action was taken from their end and cooked up stories for not controlloing the temperature. I even tried calling the helpline number but alarmingly none of the numbers were in use. The service of DTC is really poor and they are not rendering services for the money they are charging from us. I hope the higher authorities take up this matter seriously and take quick action at the earliest.

        i hereby Vijay Rathi

        i was going at my office today 6th june 12 at payal (naraina) there bus was coming route no.753 & bus number DL-IP IC 8277 driver hasnt stop the bus & damage somebody and run away and this is not a single incident we are facing this problem daily basis and we couldnt reach at office due to DTC careless buses services so, kindly take necessary action against the culprits & solve the issues

          I was in my car when I took this photo of a DTC bus driver talking on the phone (you can see the blue coloured phone . This was at about 7pm in the evening this road as soon as we turn in from the NH-8 in to Mahipalpur on the Mahipalpur Mehrauli Road, this road is slow moving and also a lot of pedestrians crossing the road.

          No wonder the buses are killing so many people all around Delhi.

          The bus no is clearly shown in the photograph. DL 1P B 6416

          Please do let us know of what is going to be done about this.

            There is not DTC Bus Service in Mukhmelpur, Delhi-110036, if any bus comes no timing to come and go
            the conductor and drivers drops their trips, the buses is very old and out of order in the way. so people are suffering in transports. the delhi govt. give almost 60 routes to Gramin Sewa But there is one and two. where is gramin Sewa Taxi. they are driving on other routes. Narala Depot gives DTC Bus to us but there is no low floor bus service in Mukhmelpur

            I would suggest you, give new route in circle from Azadpur to Alipur to Mukhmelpur to Hiranki to Burari to Kings way Camp to Azadpur, burari route is very good to earn money

                Non stopping of Bus no. 567 A at Andrews Ganj bus stop in peak office hours
                The DTC bus no. 567 A (going towards Mundka around 9.30 - 9.40 am.today - 24th May, 2011) did not stop at Andrews Ganj bus stop despite signalling by me, a lady sr citizen. Bus registration no. - DL 9674 ( green bus) . Action should be taken against the driver / conductor as this is the usual behaviour of the bus staff.

                The DTC runs the buses for us, the passengers. Drivers/ conductors have no right to act according to their own whims and fancies.

                  I m Sonia. I want to file complaint about DTC bus service.
                  I am working in MaadiPur Village. I always leave my office 6:30 pm to 6:45 pm after that I go to Wajir Pur Depot for my Destination.
                  There is only one Bus Route 978 to go WajirPur Depot. At this time there is no bus to go there. After 7:15 pm DTC bus comes but, sometime Driver does not stop the bus at the stand of MaadiPur Village. After, Stop services of Blue Line situation has been critical.
                  Please increase DTC bus service on Route No.978 in the evening for go toward WajirPur Depot.

                  Dear Sir
                  I am researcher in Pusa Institue. I want to file a complaint about DTC bus service i.e., bus rout no 721 from ISBT to Manglapur, Palam.
                  Sir, I always leave my department at 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm to board DTC bus (721). The basic problem is that, in the evening, this bus not comes frequently as morning. Due to erratic bus services, passengers crowed of this route increase up to out of control. In this situation, if 3 buses would be arranged for these passengers, which will be too less. Finally, in this condition, all the passengers are helpless and compel to travel in that bus route (721 from ISBT to Manglapur, Palam). So, I would request to you, please raise the frequency of this DTC bus service ie. 721 bus.

                    Dated: 2nd May 2011
                    I boarded bus number 34 bound for Mehrauli from Sec-18/ GIP bus stop in Noida. The same is my routine as always.
                    I have been using this bus since the past two years but have never had any incident of rude behaviour from the conductors who are mostly aged. But today the bus conductor behaved very rudely and even asked me to step down from the bus while it was moving.
                    As I have to de-baord the bus at Khanpur i daily take the name of the stop and the conductor's charge Rs.22/- for the same. But today the conductor asked me for Rs.26/- without any good reason. When i told him that i always take a Rs.22/- ticket and that he was overcharging unnecessarily he started shouting and using rude and abusive language.
                    I was humiliated in front of the whole bus and was asked to take another bus.
                    This is a serious concern as the younger lot of DTC is not apt enough to handle the job and are majorly from an un-educated type of background who don't know how to behave with the ladies.
                    Furthermore even the bus driver, upon hearing the commotion, asked me to get down instead of trying to resolve the issue.
                    The Bus number is DL 1PC 7914, i boarded the bus at 5:15 PM.
                    Request you to please take suitable action against the errant staff.

                      Dear Sirs,
                      This has reference DTC bus vide route # 910 bearing Regd.# DL 1pc 7336 enroute Karam Pura to Sayed gaon , time 3.05 pm. We were waiting at Punjabi Bagh bus stop for half an hour but no bus was available . As the bus approached stop every passenger boarded the bus with a sigh of relief. Soon after everybody boarded the bus and about to alight a person came with a threat in his behaviour and told the driver why at all did you bring the bus , don;t you know blueline is about to come, without taking care of inconvinience of the passengers waiting in the scorching heat.
                      Would some higher authority look into the matter and take action.

                        I was standing at Deepali Chowk (New Delhi) Bus Stand on 28th April, 2011 at around 10.00 pm. The bus (route no. 254) was supported to stop on the bus stand to pick up passengers. But the driver did not stop bus for passengers. I had to catch the bus as I was getting late at that night and I warned off my hand to stop it. Instead of this the driver drove the bus away fastly.

                        Please take necessary action over it.

                        mujhe DTC ke route no. 166 se bhut problem hai. Route no. 166 ki service to achi hai leking bus driver bus not stop in bus stop because two & three buses at the time in stop than bus driver not stop the bus at stop
                        Route No. 166 bus service is good but problem for bus driver. Today at 9:45 to 10:00am one bus driver not stop the bus at bus stand and may passenger was late for college & office etc. i request for you please solved this problem

                        I am rinki sethi. My residence is in virender nagar
                        the driver have no manners and his behaviour is very rude.I was standing at virender nagar(New Delhi) Bus Stand on today onward at around 7:15 am in morning. The bus (route no. 863) was supported to stop on the bus stand to pick up passengers. But the driver did not stop bus for passengers.He told me in ver4y rude way and told me this is not a stand.and asked me to i[censored] want to stop bus in virender nagar so tell in goverment otherwise i m not stop bus in virender nagar. I had to catch the bus as I was getting late and I warned off my hand to stop it. Instead of this the driver drove the bus away fastly.we request you to please guide driver to follow rules and talk in offical way during on duty otherwise take necessary action against him.He start argue with me.
                        Elimination of the Chartered buses from Delhi roads after 16th December unfortunate case, the passenger load on DTC buses has increased considerably. However, most of the DTC Drivers carry an extremely poor attitude towards the passengers. They do not stop bus at the specified stops and do not bother for the poor public waiting for the buses for hours. Though DTC claims that complaint book is made available with the Conductor but one will never find it if asked for. And if you complaint about not stopping the bus on bus stop, the Driver is one who will immediately come to argue / fight with you.

                        These drivers should be trained in a way so that they understand that they are there because of the passengers. Their bread and butter comes from the money which passengers pay to DTC to avail at least minimum standard of service. In short, they should do their duty properly and behave with the passenger appropriately not as "the Masters" of poor and exploited passengers.

                        TODAY ON 23/09/2013 I WAS ON MORI GATE TERMINAL FROM WHERE I TOOK A DTC BUS ROOT NO. 753 REG. NO. DL 1C 9188 BUT WHEN I ENTERED IN THE THE BUS DRIVER SHOUTED ON ME AND SAID LEAVE THE BUS I'LL NEVER LET YOU TRAVEL IN THIS BUS WHEN I ASKED HIM WHY HE IS DOING THIS HE TOLD ME BECAUSE THE THINGS BELONGS TO ME AND THAT THING WAS A HEAD LIGHT OF MY SENTRO CAR HE STOPPED THE BUS CALLED THE POLICE AFTER HALF AN HOUR TWO POLICE MEN CAME THEIR ONE OF THEM IS HAVALDAR RAJESH I EXPLAIN THE WHOLE INCIDENT TO HIM HE ARGUED THE DRIVER THAT THE THING I WAS CARING IS NOT ILLEGAL LET ME BE IN THE BUS AND I HAVE VALID DAILY BUS PASS TOO EVEN AFTER THAT THE DRIVER DENIED AND PUSSES ME OUT OF THE BUS AND AFTER THAN I TOOK THE AUTO TO REACH BACK I WANT PLEASE TAKE SOLID STEPS AGAINST THE DRIVER AND THE CONDUCTOR

                          Sir,
                          We are daily passengers of Route No. 972 (Bawana to Uttam Nagar) but we have to face a lot of problem because bus service is very poor. Bus is coming within 40-50 minutes, between 9.30 to 10.30 a.m. and at night after 6.30P.M. there is not any bus in UTTAM NAGAR terminal. Bus will coming within 1 hours. This is single route for Bawana to UTTAM NAGAR. Than how can the passanger manage to reach at the place.
                          Not to speak of Route No. 972 many route from Bawana are not properly work.
                          Because of Bawana Depot. Bawan Depot have all the Buses in bad condition. Lot of Buses got Break Down in the way.
                          Transport department should manage the other Depot's Buses for Bawana residential and solve the problem of resident of Bawana and belongs to Bawana Depot.
                          Hope you will do the needful to the earliest.

                          Sir,
                          We are daily passengers of Route No. 957 (Shiwaji stedium to Rohini sector 22) but we have to face a lot of problem because bus service is very poor. Bus is coming within 40-50 minutes, between 5:30 to 7:00 Pm. there is not any bus in Rohini Side. Bus will coming within 1 hours. This is single route for (Shiwaji stedium to Rohini . Than how can the passanger manage to reach at the place.

                          Hope you will do the needful to the earliest.

                            There is acute shortage of 522A, 680, Outer Mudrika in morning from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at Khanpur New Delhi. There is only one or two buses on this route during the mentioned time. And these buses are also over crowded that many times people fell from the moving bus (so much crowded that doors don't get not closed).

                            Please provide separate bus to government school chidrens as because of them the bus is over crowded and people who want to go job early lagged behind .
                            In summer green buses and orange buses should be stopped and more red ac bus should be provided as its just impossible to travel in such crowded buses in this extreme weather.

                              respected sir,
                              i paviter singh resident of chand nagar near khyala. I pursuing Chartered Accountant course now i am in internship in Patel nagar. I received STIPEND Rs.1000/- only.
                              I HAVE TO WAIT FOR A BUS (ROUTE NO.410) not a minutes rather i have to stood hourly in a bus stand OF CHAND NAGAR (near khyala)or a vice- versa.and only there is a one bus which is DIRECT TO MY OFFICE or vice- versa and which is suit for my pocket..

                              Thus,please sir provide more buses for future convenient..ROUTE NO.410.
                              Its not a complaint its a request to you..

                              Hello sir i am anita from khyala and lajpat nagar 410 buses is few and not a fix time i wait this bus 1/2 and 1 hour daily so please try to 410 more then and do somthing this service.

                                Complaint Against DTC Bus Driver

                                Dear Sir/ Madam,


                                On 11th April 2011, I take DTC bus " DL 1P 2899" from Noida Sec-22. to Sec-12. This is to inform that the DTC bus " DL 1P 2899" bus no. 33 of the route "Bhajanpura to Noida Sec-37", was not stopping by the bus stops for the passengers to get down and I had to get down while the bus was half running and that too on the next stop. when I asked him to stop he misbehaves....

                                most respectfully ,
                                i wnt to told you that i daily goes from the route 764 .... i live at dwarka mor . the service of bus 764 is 1 or 2 .at the time between 1pm to 3pm from nehru place to najafgarh . that`s the lunch time of the drivers . no bus comes at this time.
                                another big problem of delhi transport corporation is that they have no timing and at one time too many buses comes this i have seen in all places of delhi . no sense of driving buses ,please look in to this matter...........

                                Dear Sir,

                                i have a student of b.com 2year student of delhi university. my resident is Bakkerwala nangloi new delhi . but there is no service for DTC route no 963, timeing is 8.00to 830 am i was lat erveyday. so please start a service properly.

                                Sir,
                                This is not a complaint rather a suggestion on behalf of thousands of commuters who are travelling towards pragati maidan from khanpur side. All these commuters who have to further travel by metro have to leave the bus at the supreme court stop in absence of a regular stop near the pragati maidan metro station. Need not to mention that they have to travel a long distance from the supreme court to the metro station and also have to cross the wide full of traffic road which is dangerous too, when the daily commuters have to rush during office hours.

                                You are requested to give attention to this problem and provide a regular bus stop at the pragati maidan metro station, which is very much needed.

                                Sub : Complaint for poor service provided at HAUZ KHAS depot

                                Sir,

                                May I draw your kind attention to few lines of my complain about poor service available at hauz khas depot

                                Today i went to get a bus pass and i found that the services provided to hauz khas depot are poor or not sufficient., ., ., .there were no SIGN BOARDS for separate lines for senior citizens and for women.

                                Apart from that there was only ONE COUNTER IN OPERATION which leads to very long lines and sometimes these things leads to fights and brawl among the people., ., ., and also the PRINTER provided there is not working properly.

                                I will highly obliged if I get proper response and action against this complain so that citizens do not face any inconvinience while getting a bus pass

                                  Dear sir
                                  I am a regular cutomer of 879 and I was taravelling to madhuban chowk from sector 13 as a daily routine in a bus no 8105,I took a ticket of madhuban chowk from conductor he gave me the 5rs ticket as madhuban chowk is less than 4kms from sector -13. After some time I had reached my destination 2 ticket checkers came to me at madhuban chowk bus stop and asked me to show the ticket and I had shown the ticket they had said that I Have taken wrong ticket claming that I should have taken of rs 10 ticket and forcefully snatched my ticket of rs 5 . when i replied that conductor has given me that ticket of rs 5 , they had said we will not let you to go from here if the rs 200 is not charged as fine
                                  I want such serious actions against these type of guys or they should be removed from their posts as every single penny is a hard earned money .I hope you will look into this matter and please recover the rs 200 as a false claim by ticket checker

                                  Dear sir, it was my first time I was going to tughlakabad metro station in DTC. As I did not know how much the fare is of tughlakabad metro station from khanpur. I asked the conductor. He said it's rs 10. So I gave him the 10rs. When I reached there, 2 ticket checker asked me to show the ticket. They said the ticket is wrong, you should have taken 20 rs ticket. I told them that I asked the conductor he said it's fare is 10 rs and I gave him rs 10. But they did not let me talk to conductor and asked him themselves that which ticket did you give him. Conductor changed his words and said he said ticket for 'tughlakabad'. The 2 ticket checker snatched my ticket of rs 10.I told him that i will pay the 20 rs for he did not listen to me And forced me to pay 200 rs . I told them I asked the conductor but they said they are trained and it's your mistake. I am honest man and I also took the ticket.but they did not listen because they wanted money .they are corrupt and and this practice should be stopped. Pls sir take actions and I hope you look into this matter and please recover my 200 rs from false checker.

                                    there are almost 10 street dogs in our locality(inderpuri, near chopra optics).they are making our lives hell.at night they bark loudly,hence we could not sleep properly.they enter our buildings and make them dirty by excreting over there. whenever a stranger enters in our locality,they bark loudly and disturb us. therefore, our guests fear to enter our locality. a punjabi family takes care of them.they don't notice the problems created by the dogs. they start to argue , whenever anyone complains. kindly help us. the dogs are multiplying day by day. we would be grateful for your kindness.

                                      Dear Sirs,
                                      We had been waiting for route # 910 on thurs. 3rd March 2011 at 6.30 - 7.45 am but of no avail.
                                      As senior citizens we are complaining because there is a mafia operating in this area but concerned authorities are least bothered about this inconvenience caused.
                                      Kindly improve services in this area people are badly in need of public transport.Normally people are late for work due to poor bus services in this area.

                                      1. DTC route No. 910 is from Syed Gaon to Shivaji STADIUM. Many times buses are terminated at Karampura terminal which puts the commuters to great hardship & inconvenience . Earlier when private buses were also running, commuters could overcome tis problem . Now it has become very difficult. This practice should be totally stopped. Bus routes should should be fixed . It should not waver here & there. This is totally wrong practice.

                                      2. There is no bus from Syed Gaon to any railway station .My suggestion is to extend the 910 route to New DELHI RLY STN. This will increase DTC revenue on this route .
