which is not valid as per rule book

    Sir

    This complaint is against denzong leisure company. I have booked a bali trip in the month of march 2020 and due to covid-19 the trip got cancelled as international flights got shut down. They were supposed to give me a full refund of the trip which is 96000. Mr sujoy head of finance department has told me that I’ll get my refund as soon as possible and now after more than a year he is not answering my calls. No one is at their local office. What should i do. Should lodge a complaint against them at local police department. I’m helpless.

      We had booked Sikkim and Darjeeling tour in the month of May. Once the full payment is done they are least bothered about the issues you face during the trip, which we have faced a lot. They won’t respond to your calls, messages & mails. In these 3 occasions we have been cheated and didn’t get the refund : 1) We had booked 3 rooms in a hotel in Lachung and paid for the same but we got only 2 rooms. 2) For one day sightseeing we were given only one vehicle where we had paid for 2 vehicles. 3) And another day they informed us at last moment that sightseeing was not possible but we had paid for the same. So all these three refund amounts are still pending and they no longer pick my calls or reply to my emails regarding the refund. The company is fraudulent which comprises o[censored]nprofessional, unskilled, illiterate, irresponsible & negligent bunch of people starting from the in-charge, the manager, the head and everyone else. Do not trust these people. Refrain from using their services. They are whole time big CHEATERS!!!

        The following problems was faced by me:

        Local tour guide was mentioned in our package but the same was not provided to us. We have to pay and arrange for the same.

        The driver provided did not know the route to garpanchkot neither he was helped by any of their representatives. After conversation, we came to know that he was going there for the first time.

        Further, i was informed by denzong that all the toll taxes are included in my package... But the same was not conveyed to the driver by denzong.

        Secondly, the driver fooding and lodging arrangement was not done by denzong or you can say that driver was not aware about his fooding and lodging. We have to make arrangement of the same for him.

        This is in reply to my compalaint to Consumer Forum on 13/02/2019 and Denzong Reply on 16/02/2019:

        Please note down the following:

        1) As conveyed by your good self over phone that all my earlier mails send to your Company was overlooked by all your senior members is not at all convincing and We feel that it is only after I have complained to the Consumer Forum, I have received a reply from your end. It seems a regular practice.

        2) As conveyed in your mail, that i should have called to your emergency Nos., I have already informed over phone that it was not my duty to call up as it was to be looked after by Denzong that we do not face any problems. We have paid full charges for the same. Still after, 25/01/2019, none of the Denzong members have the courtesy to call up and ask about the outing or any problems faced. It is very much surprising that you are not really concerned about my problems faced and just hiding your loopholes.

        3) Regarding Local Tour Guide - it was to be arranged by Denzong, but it was not. I have never asked you about the rate of the local tour guide. So informing me about Rs. 200/- required for Local tour guide is very much a statement under the belt.

        I have only informed Denzong about the discrepancies in arranging my package. But it seems that Denzong is not at all sorry for what has happened and thats why you have written about that Rs. 200/- which is not at all acceptable.

        Kindly note that I only require action against the person who was responsible for my package and has not fulfilled his responsibility. If Denzong can do so then kindly inform in writing what action has been taken or else do not waste your precious time in replying against my mail.

        Kindly note that every complain is important and all do not complain only for refund/claim of money. Hope you understand the same.

          Abhijit Dewanji from Denzong Leisure "41A, A.J.C. Bose Road" has cheated on me by asking extra 10000 a day before my flying day after finalizing the tour plan and package. I have submitted half on the package as per there rules, but they have asked for 10000 more for a ### reason that my hotel is far away from city. Worst service in my life. :(

            I faced the same situation and signed a ₹100 stamp and entered into contract but i paid only ₹25000 they gave me one gift voucher and a token gift and they informed me that as soon as i pay full amount of ₹110000/- will be eligible for hotels etc. When i go through the reviewers it confused me as due to some issues i am unable to pay part amount for getting full benefits of scheme offered. On this platform, if company is genuine as they oppose the reviews against them firmly, it is requested to provide way out to return my money as it is not possible' for me to proceed further due to family condition. If company replies and return ₹25000/ or less by deducting the expenses charges i will be thankful and it will give a message.

This guy has Award Winning skills of creating complains and will Blackmail you by destructing your online reputation. This person has complains to almost everything including his chair, table etc. This “Complain Hero” either is a psycho or he actually earns by this kind of modern blackmailing. He has a small software company (www.lakhanidevlopers.com) – --the PHP and open source kind of and has complains to every of his own clients. Think before doing any business with this guy.

                I'm Ankit Goyal and we have booked a bhutan trip from denzong leisure pvt ltd. As we tried to discuss so many things but the agent Ms Jayita always said it will be done and it's their responsibility to make our trip best. They have mailed me the itinerary which includes a guide, an a/c innova or similar with driver. But the problem started after I paid the money. They have stopped responding and even if she pick up she always told us to talk to someone else. At last moment they changed my itinerary with out informing which created a lot of problem in my trip. I have never been to such an unplanned and troublesome trip just because of denzong. When we reached bagdogra airport we found out the car was not with a/c as a/c was kaput. The whole journey for 6 days was horrible with out a/c in summer. Then comes the next problem of guide. We have been promised for a guide for the entire trip and we have confirmed it. But there they said no guide is available. Finally they provide a guide who was actually a driver and who doesn't know any thing about anything. So we were traveling with two drivers unnecessarily. It is mandatory in bhutan to wear their national dress for the guides but ours does not have any so he was not allowed any where inside any of their buildings. So finally I have paid for free for the a/c and guide which was the two most important part of the trip. We missed a lot of places which were mentioned in our itinerary because of poor knowledge and wrong estimation of time required to visit by our trip planner Ms Jayita. She even does not know how much time required to reach two places. When asked about it while planning she replied very rudely saying she knows better than us and internet as they go and see the places very frequently. Even an ill literate man can make a better itinerary jus by watching from internet. Hats off to great Ms JAYITA. It was highly unprofessional and low character by denzong. The change of my itinerary with out informing was the worst thing they did to me and I could do nothing as I have paid before hand. People who read this please believe and do not do the same mistake like we did, trusting denzong even after reading many bad reviews about it. Do not go by denzong if you value your time and money. i want my money back which i paid for guide and a/c car.

                Dear Mr.Goyal,

                In reference to your mentioned grievance we are really sorry that we could not make your trip a good memorable trip.

                Regarding your complaint we would like to clarify certain points:

                1. As per the itinerary it was clearly mentioned that all transfers will be on PVT basis in Innova / Similar. No where it has been mentioned we will be providing AC vehicle.
                2. Also, it has been clearly stated that Diver/Guide will be provided. Which we have provided. But when our reservations had come to know about the problem you were facing immediately a second driver/guide was given to you instantly at NO EXTRA cost.
                3. All your calls & mails were answered on time from day 1 and no call was ever transferred to anyone. Even when you had called up on 18.04.14, after 22.00hrs your call was attended and pertaining to certain questions our reservations had also spoken to you.
                4. Regarding the change in itinerary - pls note the same details was sent to you on 29.03.14. marking yourself and Ms.Priyanka Gupta. After that we had several conversations over phone and mail but you have never raised any issues on the same. Finally, the day before your trip when you had called up at night your call was instantly attended and all your queries were answered.

                The way you are putting your negative comments on public sights it is damaging our organizations image and I am in receipt of a serious call from OUR legal department. On behalf of our organisation on serious note I request you to please delete your comments as soon as possible .

                Dear Miss Jayita,

                Answer : Following were the points mentioned in your itinerary you shared with us, I think which you have surely forgotten. I am attaching it here for reference.Further more we have paid an extra cost of Rs 10000 for the better car services, so it definitely must be with AC, and if it is not so you should have informed or check with us.

                2. Also, it has been clearly stated that Diver/Guide will be provided. Which we have provided. But when our reservations had come to know about the problem you were facing immediately a second driver/guide was given to you instantly at NO EXTRA cost.

                Answer: As per our conversations on call (which unfortunately cant be attached)and mail, I confirmed with you several times about the guide, you always promised us about him. But what you have provided was just an another surplus driver civil dressed with no knowledge about bhutan tourist spots at all. Attaching a part of our conversation, if you have forgotten that as well please let me know I will forward you to remind you of that as well.

                a) Please mention the approx time needed to cover every spot in front of it. So that we can visualize our trip. We are really not looking for an over exhaustive holiday.--------Few of the sightseeings will be enroute specially while travelling to Punakaha. So it will not be that hectic. To visit Tiger’s Nest you will need to hike up for atleast 1 hr one way .

                b) Guide should be English/Hindi speaking. --- YES


                3. All your calls & mails were answered on time from day 1 and no call was ever transferred to anyone. Even when you had called up on 18.04.14, after 22.00hrs your call was attended and pertaining to certain questions our reservations had also spoken to you.

                Answer : Yes I do appreciate you took all my calls, but the hard truth is you refused to do anything about our concerns and asked us to contact Mr A.K Singh who also said Yes to everything like you, but never did anything to deal with our concerns after we reached bhutan.
                We even had to deal with the NCP(who you have given our tour contract in bhutan) who demanded extra money for the guide since denzong havent paid them for the guide. IF required i can provide the confirmation by the driver. He was so frustated in the whole trip about his money.

                4. Regarding the change in itinerary - pls note the same details was sent to you on 29.03.14. marking yourself and Ms.Priyanka Gupta. After that we had several conversations over phone and mail but you have never raised any issues on the same. Finally, the day before your trip when you had called up at night your call was instantly attended and all your queries were answered.

                Answer : Yes, isnt it professsional enough at your end to even ask before changing our itinerary, because of which we missed so many points which were clearly mentioned in our itinerary.We never raised any issues because we didnt know anything about Bhutan, when we reached there then we got to know about it that it was terrible.
                Becuase of your poor knowledge of the places and time required to cover them. For eg : you told us that following places will be covered inbetween Thimphu and Punakha . You didnt even know Wangdue and Punakha are not same places they are very far away and if have to be covered, it required an additional 1 day at Punakha. It was your duty to plan it properly for us or atleast to inform us. We missed following places beacuse of your change in itinerary and irony is even both the drivers were cursing the person who had created our itinerary.

                Dear Mr. Goyal,

                I have read your complaint and i would advise not to withdraw your complain, but rather post it on multiple websites. I had also faced a major problem with this travel company and they show professionalism only when taking payment. They list too much in their itinerary and proposal just to attract the customer, but in reality they are just like other road side travel agents. Our tour was a complete disaster, because of the poor hotel and guide they provided. I am sure you must have read my complaint too.

                So any one reading this complain are very humbly advised, to find some good travel company other wise you will spoil your holidays.

I have been trying to complain but I guess my complains are falling in deaf ears but anyways as a customer it's my responsibility to make people aware of crooks like denzong.                 Exactly similar problems with Denzong Leisure during recent Bhutan tour as raised above. How I wish I could have read the reviews before booking with them. I cant do much now as I have already lost my money, time and precious family holiday. Maybe someone else will be saved.

                They seem to have a pattern:

                1. At time of booking lot of promises about "everything will be perfect." The agent will listen to your requests and say yes to everything. But on the itinerary they will write "equivalent" in front of very point. On the ground you will get horrible service, ranging from car to hotel rooms.
                I paid Rs, 10, 000 extra to upgrade from 7 seater Innova to Totyota Hiace. Got a large 8 seater van which was technically a Hiace but was of old Maruti Van quality. It had bench type narrow seats and suspension close to breaking point (as per the driver himself he was scared to drive above 20-30km/hr as the car could break!) with 2 of the folding seats broken (leaving us with 6 passenger seats for 7 people!) which was at least 10 yrs old. (technically a Hiace but not anywhere close to the internet photos or the other Hiace vehicles all around us in Bhutan which were really luxurious with reclining bucket seats).

                We paid about Rs 12000, extra for 8 nights trip to upgrade from budget category to 3 star rooms. Our 1st day hotel at Thimphu was nowhere close to 3 star. At best a decent budget property with small rooms opening into a noisy dining room accessible through 2 flight of narrow stairs in a busy market building. Since the other 3 hotels booked by them were indeed 3 star like, one assumes Denzong knows the meaning of 3 star and intentionally chose to book a budget hotel at Thimphu for reasons best known to them.

                They will defend saying they have provided as per itinerary utilizing the equivalent clause.

                2. No knowledge of local conditions, geography etc- I was told Wangdue to Bhumtang is 6-8 hours, actually took 13 hours without any lunch break each way, which was hell as I was travelling with my elderly parents and 3 yr old nephew. Lots of poetic description about the sightseeing on the way, and different routes for going and coming back. In actuality the driver took the same route both ways and refused to cover any of the places mentioned as he said it was not feasible to see them if we wanted to reach by the same night. He actually laughed when I showed him the itinerary and the route devised by the agent!!

                3. Poor support during tour- When I called up the agent after seeing the condition of the 1st day hotel at Thimphu and the car she promised to call back in 5 minutes. I am yet to hear her voice. Email was replied to by a gentleman we had never dealt with before, after 4 days, with generic responses like "we will look into it, we have never gotten complaints like this before etc.). Still waiting for any definite reply from them.

                4. Unethical practices- Have not received receipts, invoice etc yet despite repeated reminders. I doubt they pay taxes although they did charge us GST.
                We were charged about Rs. 10, 000 extra on the flight tickets without informing beforehand about any commission. Was sent modified tickets by email with the price deleted. On getting copies from the airlines to check genuineness of the tickets we found out that the tickets had been tampered with to delete the price and actual price charged by the airlines per ticket was about Rs. 1500 lower. Agents excuse- "we are not approved agents for Bhutan airlines and have bought tickets via another agent" Why dont you inform this prior to taking our money? Let us choose whether to book through you second hand or deal directly with the approved agent.

                  I am a Senior Executive of Ericsson Global. I recently used your Dooars Trip with Denzong Leisure and I would term it as "Worst trip of my Life" ever. Needless to mention this is a mail to complain about the services and promises made by your two employees before the trip and kind of disaster we had to face during our only year end trip.

                  I would like you to personally look into the issue and resolve this issue.

                  Your executives are not even willing to share tax invoices which is strict in violation with guidelines by RBI and GOI. I would be very much willing to share the traction advice from my bank to the senior official of Tax department and SEC. For all kind of fraud thats been run over this transaction and the promises made over the itenary.

                  Well, We still would like to solve it Out of Court unless you would like to go legal.
                  Just to add we still have Voice transcripts of calls lately made to your Senior Official who is deliberately ignoring our calls for Refund.

                  I would like to bring below mentioned points in your notice.

                  1) The resort was in Very Poor Condition and did not full-fill the basic amenities.
                  2) Bed Sheet were Not Changed Every Day, On Repeated Request they changed the Bed sheet only for 2 Rooms that too on last day.
                  3) The Resort provided only 1 Towel in one room, how can you manage in One Towel for 4 Person?
                  4) The Towel was not changed every Day and when asked, they did not paid any attention.
                  5) We had to call them multiple times for a jug of water too.
                  6) The Manager was very Rude and when we asked for anything, he used to say i am unable to do this at this time.. i am Busy.
                  7) Since we came Via-media, the service provided to us was of very poor standard.
                  9) When they allotted the room, bathroom mat for one of them was solied completly, i asked them to change it and was not changed even after 24 hrs. Which made me to use the bath towel in pace of Mat and they shouted like dogs for this.
                  10) There was no water in Our Room from 29th Night to 30th Evening.
                  11) We did not get Hot water on Any day. We had to take bath in cold water and all o[censored]s has caught cold. On last day Plumber cam to check the hot water and they said the hot water pipes are choked.
                  12) on 30th they could not provide bathing water and our site seeing was delayed by 4 hours, we could not go to Bindu and Jalong.
                  13) on 31st the lunch packing was delayed by 2 hrs. We were waiting form 9.30 and lunch was not prepared. We started at 11.30. That day also we lost our site seeing for half Day.
                  14) We ordered some additional food on 29th Dinner, the same was not served even after repeated request.
                  15) They cooked the baby food, but all the time it was half baked and we had to sent it back for cooking again.
                  16) Your Guide was a good Person at heart, but did not have any knowledge of arranging tours.
                  17) The Food was very Spicy, we requested them to cook medium spicy food, but repeatedly we got spicy food in dinner and lunch. We did not complain on last 2 days as we were very much frustrated with the over all arrangements.
                  18) They asked us to compromise on everything, they were also not willing to warm up a cold tea. This sucks.
                  19) Most of the time We were served with cold food.
                  20) One of the 4 Bed Room was full with foul smell of Liquor, so we had to take a Double Bed Room instead of that.
                  21) The Bath room was not cleaned every day, it used to small bad, as they did not used disinfectant any time.
                  22) I paid you for 20 + 1 Infant, but even after paying you Full Price we got the worst quality treatment.
                  23) The Hotel Manager and Owner behaved with us very badly and threatened us to move out of Resort midnight. Do you think this kind of behaviour is expected from a good hotel or resort?
                  24) Resort charged us Rs. 800 for a bedsheets which was spoiled by baby vomiting. I do not know any hotel which charges for such things.
                  25) All the commitments made by you had failed and we were insulted and treated badly by the manager.
                  26) On checkout Day we had to leave early so we asked them to pack butter toast so that we could have them easily on the way, but they did not provide the same. They packed puri sabji which we could not eat on the way and we had to stay without breakfast till 11.30.

                  There are many more issues that has happened, but we overlooked them as we just wanted to get out of that place without causing any damage to our family. We could not enjoy any good time there. Because of the poor arrangements, we had to manage most of the things our selves and i lost my image in front of collogues and Family.

                  Your tour guide was there most of the time and knows all the facts, you can verify the truth with him regarding the arrangements at resort and treatment from the hotel staff.

                  FYI, Other Guest left from the Resort due to lack of service, they got alternate room in Jaldapara Inn. This is also one of the Supporting evidence of issues at that place.

                  First to inform that all mentioned blames are false and the scenario is just reverse. This guest is trying to get some financial benefit from the travel organisation and we all are well aware of such activity . Our legal department already on process to take serious action against this person who has enough time for such blame game, we will not tolerate any more such false complains . Till date we have zero complaint about our services and have wonderful reputation with all guests availed our service other then this single personality . We challenge if any single complaints found other then this group ( one and only ) who all are trying to pull some fund from travel organisation they travel with, we are sure similar thing they would have done is past as well . Also to mention that we have people who all are veteran in Travel industry experiencing such one off noise guest which we just ignore . For information we are fully registered organisation and every transaction is officially recorded, billed with proper tax invoices. Even we have a full timer chattered accountant . We are sure this person has mixed our organisation with 3/4 members road side travel agency . This is the first and last response to such corrupt mind and will not even bother to revert to any further complaints from this person or relative as we have already blacklisted them in Travel forum.

                  Well Firstly I would say finally some of you had atleast some balls to come and reply but then reading all that I think there is one apt hindi saying "Chori aur upar se Seni zori".

                  You guys have simply not adhered to the travel rules which you have mentioned in your documents. If you say complete refund in case of any complaints We have more then 25 geniune complaints listed.

                  I can ask all the 20 tour members to comment with there separate views which will only hamper your online presence. Please let me know if you really want an additional comments over the Web.

                  If you think we had any financial angle on this then be rest assured we just want our money refunded and U would be lucky as we are not pressing any charges on harassment and tax frauds.

                  Lastly, When you say you will not reply, that clearly implies you are running away from the issue and afraid of getting exposed.
                  Denzong Leisure - Not Sending Invoice for the Payment

                  Dear Denzong Team,

                  1) Would you mind sending the Tax Invoice for the Payment that we have made to you. Would you clarify why have you not provided the tax Invoice on our multiple requests?

                  2) Can you Answer why i was not given Hotel Vouchers by your tour guide and till date i don't have. Is is not right of a Traveller to have a copy of hotel voucher they stayed in?

                  3) Let me agree that you are not a Road Side company, then why are your executive not picking up my calls? Not picking call is a behavior of road side company. Once the payment is made, we don't know and don't bother.. my pocket is full, why should i pick up the calls? i have other guest who need to be cheated, exploited correct?

                  4) Why your executive Atendra Singh was not responding my calls, after Promising that he will arrange a refund now there is no response from him? He has barred my calls. When i call him from some unknown number, he picks up immediately. This make your company a High profile.

                  5) Haven you even bothered to manage a meeting with us? Forget the Refund, you people are not even willing to pick my calls and you justify your self as reputed organization?
