Department Of Post — customs charged more than 50% of product value (medicines).

I ordered medicines (Supplements) for my autistic son from u. S. A worth rs 5, 000.

To clear this order from post office i am asked to pay customs duty rs. 2, 692/- which is more than 50%
I need to order everymonth for my son.. And my order doesnt fall under customs duty since it is less then 10k.. Thats why i opted vitacost site

This is very unreasonable
