Department Of Post — Misplacement of documents, zero communication after repeated reminders on investment of 1.2 Lacs resulting in loss of interest for 36 days as of today

Hi Team, Wanted to highlight the poor support which we have received from Department of Post. My father is a senior citizen and old Post office customer and wanted investment in Sr. Citizen Savings scheme and have deposited a cheque of 1.2 Lacs on 16th Nov 2015. Even after repeated follow up over phone and sending a registered letter to post office Sarsuna we dont have any status update on the investment till date. We understand that there can be delay for couple of days due to operational issues, however a delay of 36 days does not sound reasonable and is causing loss of interest
