I Shankarashis Bhattacharjee, CGHS Pensioner Benificiary, has visited Desun Hospital Kolkata in an Emergency Basis on 25th Jan, 2022.
They are giving admission immediately but suddenly after the come to know that i am a CGHS Pensioner Benificiary, and my treatment would be cashless the refused to give admission and said the are out of bed availability, but they are having available beds in the hospital as said by the attendent in the emergency ward. But due to managemant refused for admission they cannot do anything.
I want to file a complaint against Desun Hospital kolkata due to this unnesessary refusal of a critical patient just because of money.
These type of hospitals should shut down. They are not serving people, they are just doing business with people's emotion and fear.
I want strict Actions Against This Hospital.

My patient Mr. Kesto Das last 06/09/2021. At 23:15 PM at Desun Hospital (720, Eastern Metropolitan Bypass, Golpark, Sector I, Kasba, Kolkata, West Bengal 700107) was admitted under ESIC Kolkata, JOKA and on 13/09/2021 he was discharged from the hospital. Other tests including holter monitoring are done while my patient is in the hospital. But on the day of discharge I was not given any Holter monitoring report. Dr. Sanjib Kumar Patra saw the report from Hospital lab and left it depending on him. I found out from Desun hospital and at the time of discharge he called me hospital authority and signed all the documents saying that all reports will be given from billing counter on next OPD booking day. 22nd September, 2021 I came to the billing counter and wanted to see the due slip of my patient Holter monitoring report but I was not given any due slip by the hospital, so they see all the documents and send me to the reception from there I am sent back to the billing counter here I was asked to sit for 10 minutes and then after 25 minutes I went and when I asked you to sit for 10 minutes you were told that you are being prepared. In this way my sick patient was kept sitting for more than 2hours. My patient feels sick on an empty stomach and cannot take medication. I felt very upset and had a very bad experience with Desun hospital.

Emergency doctor Dr varum is not a doctor he is a Houligan how hospital appoint such guy who eat pan masala every time even at the time of investing critical patient which is against medical protocol.
He spit here and there pan masal .
He always shout and hyper.
HR should observe him and take action against him to improve the reputation of the hospital

Few doctors are very well mannered. I will submit feedback.
I request for discharge of my mom. She doesn't want to stay back, 90 yrs old simple lady. What difference it will make to discharge at today 6PM and tomorrow 11AM other than some extra money? I agreed to pay the charges of tomorrow too.

This is very painful experience for me that my father admitted was 6th jan 21, but couple of times I contact to hospital they are just reply ICU dept just busy.I am not getting any information over telephone .

Sir, with due respect. I am a high blood pressure and sugar patient. Recently cghs doctor refer to cardiology department. 6th january i meet to dr. Sanjib kumar patra. Dr. Patra advice ambulatory bp monitor. I meet to 16 no. Room at desun hospital but not consider cghs rate this test charges is rs3600+1000 deposit. Further i came back to cghs hospital doctor check the test file and confirm me this test sl. No 739 attached. Then i request to you please this test arrange cghs rate.

We tri to contact your hospital staff but they did not help us. We bring sri radha kanta mukherjee of tribeni yesterday for heart treatment in your hospital ' s opd. You suggested us for dr. Supritip kundu mbbs ' md dm. He adviceed for few medicine. And we purchese these medicine from your farmacy. Today the patient mr. Mukherjee continue to take these medicine. But afternoon 4 p. M. His condition detoriate soon. We try to contact your hospital but they do not support us. We want to talk with doctor. What we will can do? Please answer us as soon as possible.

My father was admitted under supervision of dr. Rik banerjee in icu. Though he diagnosed the ailment correctly, but the treatment was not amicable. The situation was getting worsened by inexperienced rmos and nursing staff.

The nursing staff at icu were worse than aayas we call at home. No proper care and no attentiveness for critical patients. Icu is supposed to be sterile area but all hospital staffs were walking in and out with shoes on like they were roaming in garden. I ultimately had to threaten them of medical negligence, when they asked me for medical discharge.

The staff are very adamant and on been pointed, they denied clinical summary, which is a fundamental right of any patient's attendant, irrespective of how many times a week they want it. Also they showed no interest in improving the cleanliness and safety/ hygiene protocols of icus.

I have videos and pictures to prove my points. I will share them with govt. Official first and later post it here.

It was blessing in disguise for me that we took dad to rn tagore hospital and he was properly taken care of and cured.

The best part is that in 7 days, they charged 15000 rs to us and rest multiple lacks to cghs. The bill to us should only be of consumables, but they added all sort of fake items and charged for bed matresses (Air matresses), which are not consumables. They added 4 time prices for articles/ consumables.

Indian medical association and ministry of health, govt of india should ban this hopital to play with lives of indian citizen.

I am anyways going to write to cghs director, honbl. Pm of india and health minster at center to shut this hospital down.

Dr k sen head of neurologist has suggested my father to go for ecg with carotid sinus massage last month which was already banned worldwide including india some last 3 + years. This test is being done now on ginnipig/mouse as this test was earlier done by the patiens also but as the test on human beings was not successful. It has been banned worldwide.
How a responsible doctor in a responsible position can wrote for such a type of test. Is he not keep him updated or he simply want to write something.
This days doctors are money minded but at what cost?
My father is lucky enough that he didn't go for that test.
Request all be careful about big and reputed hospitals and with the doctors too.

My father was admitted on 27th December night 2015 due to pneumonia in lungs due to cold. But he admitted the hospital at the night, the very next day morning they asked family member and ask to give consign that for a brain operation. We were surprised that how could they ask for brain surgery where the reason is pneumonia in lungs. They plan to have a brain surgery to draw a huge amount of money. When we deny for the operation, and told them to medicine treatment only...Then they just keep my father neglected.No treatment at all. At last due to seeing this we agree to operate as my father became senseless number of hours. the operation was successful, but after that they keep my father in hospital a long days to drag lacs and lacs money. Worst is atlast my seek father was affected by the hospital-acquired infections. Then it turns to multi-organ failure. And in 26th January 2016 all finished with my father.. he died with cardiac arrest in the hospital. We have seen my father to die the limitless pain. Then push my father's life to the end. We was so socked that we could not do any action against Desun hospital. But we regret that Govt should cancel their license, all doctors are unexperienced, they are just doing practicing here. RMO are junior doctors. They just took us a money making machine. Moreover my father was died due to infections of their hospitals, I must say they have den of infections in their Desun hospital. How could we back my father.. who was not supposed to die even. We still could nt accept it how could he die due to hospital infections. Please be aware of Desun hospital, they have branding, but not treatment.

Experience at Desun Hospital and Medical Business Centre

I had a bitter experience with this hospital. They claim in their web site as provider of “World Class Business Services”. The truth is they are focusing more on Business than Medical Services. My ailing patient (mother aged 78 yrs) was quickly picked by their 24x7 Ambulance Services when requested at a very reasonable transport rate and was admitted to ICU as per the advice of the RMO at Desun Emergency. As we know that while the patient is admitted customer billing meter continues recording so they remain courteous and at least listen to our requests though they may not be executing them ultimately. The real face of Desun was seen when the patient got discharged and the billing meter stopped. When I requested them for an ambulance to ferry my patient home, I was told that Desun Ambulances were not available and they will call an outside ambulance for Rs 1000/- (Desun Ambulance for the same trip costed Rs 584/-). I tried to bargain on the amount as it looked a bit on higher side but they said that you hire one from outside if you are not ready to shed out Rs 1000/-. I then told them then at least arrange for another helper since the patient has to be taken to 1st floor residence. They told me not to worry as the driver and a helper are good enough to take the patient to 1st floor residence. On reaching my residence, the driver told me to arrange for more people as they will not be able to carry the patient to 1st floor of the building else asked us to help them out. Myself (with back pain) and my sister with enormous difficulty somehow could help them carry my 78 yr old mother to 1st Floor. First thing I could not understand how DESUN vouched for and took the responsibility of service being provided by an outside agency which anyway was not provided to me and second why there is a huge difference in the rates. Is it that the extra money is going through many hands with DESUN ambulance department in nexus with outside ambulances service agencies?

DESUN SHOULD TELL THE CUSTOMERS UPFRONT DURING ADMISSION PREFERABLY THAT THEY MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PROVIDE AMBULANCE SERVICES DURING DISCHARGE AND CUSTOMERS ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS. THEY SHOULD NOT TALK OF E2E CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN THEY ARE UNABLE TO FULFIL BASIC CUSTOMER NEEDS.
