My son had applied for CDC online and his application was rejected.
The reason was given " the board name has not been recognized as per office record hence rejected". He had IGCSE Cambridge board with a pass percentage of 87.43 overall, maths, physics, Biology, Chemistry 98%. Whereas all university /School in India recognize the IGCSE Board.
So I had appealed to shipping master of Mumbai India to check and reconsider my son's CDC application for issue of CDC.
But no response.

Updated by judasfernandes My son’s had applied for cdc online and his application was rejected, application no. Smo (M)/2019/103469 and dated 07 may 2019.
The reason was given "the board name has not been recognized as per office record hence rejected".
My son passed his examination cambridge-igcse 10th standard with 87.43% overall.
So i appeal to shipping master of mumbai india to check and reconsider my son's cdc application for issue of cdc.
My son will complete his hnd marine engineering from south shields college in july 2019 and his carrier depends on this cdc.
During a campus interview, he has been selected to join as trainee marine engineer.
We look forward to hearing a positive response from you.

I have applied for new Indian cdc but it got rejected twice, stating a reply in my mail that it didn't recognizes the board by state government, when its a state recognized government school based in Jharkhand and have everything from official websites to registered phone number, DGshipping did not verified my class 10 certificate and has rejected my application for fresh CDC,
