DMart — return/exchange of items

Packed food items, even though not mentioned aren't exchanged even if produced for exchange with proper bill within one hour of purchase. I purchased a go cheese slice pack and wished to buy a bigger one so went for exchange within 45 mins of purchase.. But the customer care guy gave an explanation that it will spoil if they take it back. Poor service.
