[Resolved]  Dr Ic Verma Gangaram Hospital — FRAUD DOCTOR

Dr IC VERMA, SENIOR CONSULTANT IN GENETIC STUDY AND THALESSAMIA IN GANGARAM HOSPITAL IS A HORRIBLE DOCTOR. HE RECENTLY PREPARED AN INCORRECT REPORT OF A COUPLE WHO WERE BOTH THALASSAMIA CARRIERS WHO HAD UNGONE GENETIC TESTING IN GANGRAM HOSPITAL DURING HER PREGNANCY TO RULE OUT WHETHER THE UNBORN CHILD WOULD BE THAL MAJOR, MINOR OR NORMAL CHILD. HIS REPORTS REVEALED THAT THE CHILD WOULD BE THAL MINOR AND THE COUPLE CAN GO AHEAD WITH THE PREGNANCY. HOWEVER RECENTLY WHEN THE CHILD TURNED JUST 6 MONTHS THE CHILD HAS BEEN DETECTED THAL MAJOR. I THINK IC VERMA IS A FRAUD DOCTOR AND HAS PLAYED WITH THE SENTIMENTS OF THE FAMILY AND SHOULD SERIOUSLY PUNISHED. NEED YOUR VIEWS IN THIS REGARD. PLEASE SUPPORT.

Horrible doctor
This just goes to show that human life has no value in India. The callous attitude of the staff as well as the doctor who is so renowned is proof of this fact. Also the hospital authorities have not bothered to look into the case yet and pinpoint where the error actually happened and take ownership of the mistake. Secondly the legal systems and cumbersome bureaucratic procedures leaves people like us with little choice. This doctor should be stripped of his license and sued along with the hospital.
Those who want to get in touch with unfortunate parent of this little baby can contact him on [protected]. This could alert future thalassamia carrier couples to get reports verified and crosschecked and definately take a second opinion.
Mrs. Suri, as per your statement, both parents are Thal Minor, then there is always a 25% chance is to deliver a Thal Major, 50% chances of Thal Minor & 25% of delivering a normal baby, with each pregnancy. This is genetics. I can understand the pain you are undergoing, but before blaming anyone, always cross check the science behind that. He might told the probabilities. Science has its own limitation (always there are also very few chances of false negative results). INDIAN govt has to understand the importance of screening techniques, please a parents like you should raise a voice so that it can reach to govt. The only way to prevent the defective birth is to screen every babies. Which has been mandatorily followed in all others countries, except India. till date there is no informative data for Indian babies. this should not be the fate of India. Please wake up.
Doctors are doing their prompt efforts, involve with them for a better future. In India, he is the first doctor who is effective fighting for mandatory screening for Indian babies. i do respect him a lot.
