This is my second complain after the one wrote yesterday as after writing I recalled the whole thing bit by bit. So would start from the beginning...
I went to Batra end of sep 22 for free counselling to check if they have really improved as was in distress with my and my son's health and hair fall. Tried allopathy then ayurvedic nothing worked with his allergy, chronic fatigue, weak immune with acne and hair fall. So decided to just check and whenever you make a first attempt people are very sweet, convincing giving you all the time. Went to same Borivali clinic, saw the posters that they started treatment for everything hence my hope lifted assuming might get some relief or solution. I had same hair fall, fatigue issue but no allergy. What mattered was my son's health as a single mother and with sons young age. We met Dr Sejal Parekar, senior doctor for that clinic as every new patient meets her. Guess as she is very polite, sweet with good convincing skills hence manipulative. She recalled that we visited 7 yrs back, I opened to her as a mother about my personal, financial situation and all health issue and asked if she thinks it will work. If they can combine the meds for hair fall, skin and allergy. Told I tried vedix as had money back guarantee and with first three usage it just tripled so I complaint and as promised got my money refunded but had so much hair loss.
So I don't want to try but need assurance if we can heal, at least my son or can't invest, can't afford. She as usual assured, said will help retain what's left and give three months. As prices were high I told I can't, if can get discount then will think. Then they kept calling. So there's Dr sejal to convince you with her motherly ways and then there was Pooja who just dealt with registration and taking money talking about fees, discount, etc. So when we didn't like the offer we left. Pooja called and then kept calling saying they took special permission as we are old client and Dr sejal went extra mile to convince the accounts to give us this offer so we need to make payment immediately or the offer stands null.. Hence, took the deal as per them it was 50%..22k.. Not sure if it was..
Made online payment immediately but visited after a week to start the treatment. First visit was fine and we were all hopeful then with one week meds felt things going bad, tried to ignore assuming it is initial state so happens with any oil or treatment but it continued and we both had issue so second week called to speak to Dr sejal but as usual now they won't entertain. So asked for Pooja. Told her want my REFUND and things got worse and is this how they fool and I have got other issues too so she didn't know what to say and said will ask Dr sejal to talk. As was asking refund and just started treatment so had strong feeling like other treatment and with last time what happened, realised it is just promotion and things won't work so asked to cancel, give refund, hence Dr sejal immediately called to calm me as she is good with that.. Asked to see her and she will change meds etc. So I went and she was again successful to convince me. Also asked for Pooja as felt I need to apologise as was very rude to her and lashed out but came to know she quit the job as her husband died.
Nevertheless Cont'd and kept ignoring the hair fall as decided to go with Dr sejal for three months. Things just got worse and there was no difference in any aspect but worse hair fall and rest issue remained same. Even when I took both our blood and CT report Dr sejal said all fine. She hardly looked and I felt she doesn't even know to read or rather understand the meaning of different test report. The truth I feel is they give same pills to everyone. All the poster were just Promotional thing investing on promoting with actors or famous celebrity.
I went in November,
As I was also working on study abroad visa for my son assuming I will die soon and I need him to be in a better place so had put all my savings and taken small loan. But the visa got rejected in Oct end and hence with all failing with this hair treatment investment too, I had decided to cancel in Nov but seems Dr sejal had someone in family expired so with Diwali and her state just went soft. Made cordial exchange . But couldn't take in December.
So Dec, Me and my son strongly decided to cancel. Realised it won't work so this time firmly decided to stick to our decision to get it cancelled. Take whatever refund they give and not go with Dr sejals convincing talent. We went, waited as there's no use of appointment it is first come first serve. As I stayed adamant, strong and hyper to cancel, Dr sejal gave extra time to talk me out, once again, calm me knowing I get anxious and have my panic attacks when now people manipulate. That's her only talent and she is there I suppose.
(note - as the quote goes _behti ganga mein har koi haath dohota hai, and say ganga toh pehle se maili thi.. So they don't pity you but rather take more advantage of your situation and health and probably their conscience say they didn't do anything but the patient was a patient before. Forgetting the patient came for help and they convinced assured with their kindness and sweet talks to help and provide some healing)
Though I expected some honesty empathy from her to be honest with her suggestion but she went to save her job and do her job. She took pictures of hair and showed previous rather convincing it is same or better. Only after few months when me and my son took picture to show her as I decided not to go anymore and transfer rest of my period to my son hoping he might have some relief with long term. But the images were perfect with scanty hair bald patches and then we realised that how Dr sejal always clicked from her phone and connected that nowadays it is normal to have the beautify app so it will always show fuller perfect. Not real. Slowly understood the whole thing. She asked to give three months as need minimum six months and convinced we won't get full money as we had discount so when they refund (only if they and she does a huge favour by writing them mails and requesting) then they will deduct as per original price so better to continue and we did...I told going there is a waste of time, she hardly talks now as we aren't new. We had surrendered assuming nothing possible, the money lost so rather take so called pills and live in hope.. Placebo might work but will take courier as can't spend 300 k traveling and waiting.. But then had issue with that too.
Had to go to native to my parents as had started getting my depression. After visa rejection my son was depressed and suicidal too which I told Dr sejal but no sympathy.. Just words. Hence went to my parents and when back decided to stay calm so can take care of my house and son. Forget all the investment and let God do the justice. Still before leaving asked to courier the meds and was promised to get it on time. Yash at reception assured will send meds on time but didn't get. When was at native got call after 3-4 days, some courier saying he came to deliver. I told it was supposed to be 4 days back and am out of town now. So he said the address was wrong but when I was back Yash confirmed the right address so don't know who was lying.
Bottom line was without meds and so almost stopped after December. Then over phone asked sejal to transfer my time to son as I can't take their manipulation
But Now she knew had surrendered so she stopped meeting. My son met other junior twice, random pill given and waste of time money.. We stopped meds two months back totally.
So writing the story for others to take what they can and only wish they get guided to read these things before enrollment and save all the pain and stress and definitely money as we all get so desperate and needy to put our hard earned money even if we can't afford into such places who are not even proper doctor not even Mbbs.. BAMS which is okay if they are honest with their doctors degree that is all about treating patient with Honesty integrity. But they forget all in this materialistic world and their greed selfishness takes over.
So to the head of BATRA.. Real Dr Batra.. I would just like to remind you what was the reason you started this business. Was it really for earning with Honesty, have a symbiotic relationship where you serve with Honesty for everyone's well being and earn or was it on the pain, stress and health of poor ones who are more crushed in the name of healing.. Please show some empathy. Please refund my full amount. Take your registration fee or even as I was the one to make this bad choice so the three months fee till December. I lost my money, hair and rest health remain same for me and my son so we are now at a more worse situation with the added stress of financial losses. Have some humanity please.
(PS - To this website. Thank you for creating this platform. I did receive a pretentious blank call as in Dr Sejal called within an hour after my first post yesterday. I can't forget her voice. I don't fear giving my details. Dr sejal stupidly asked if am Aisha, I said yes and she said wrong number and hung up. Weird that you call the right person, and ask right name and say wrong number. That too after my first complaint. So they know who I am. In case things go wrong for me and my son. Though I don't care. Are you planning to hurt us more? You are welcome. Have lost faith in humanity now.)
Dr Batra's customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
