I Pralhad Thakur residing in Goregaon East had purchased a 3 STR, Nappa Aire Leather Recliner Sofa from Durain Goregaon East shop on 20th Aug 2021 for a amount of 82, 600/ Rs ( sale of 50% was goin on in August 2021 ) . In Nov 22 month, I could see that the Leather has started peeling & at one portion it has totally come out so I lodged a Complaint with Durain's Customer care & got a complaint ticket#40022 dated 21st Nov 22. For Resolution of the complaint, they send me Proforma/ Quotation of 15400/- Rs ( Leatherette change 14400/- + 1000 Rs Transportation ) . On inquiry why the big amount needs to be paid, when the Product Quality itself was defective . the answer received was 12months warranty is for Product only whereas 5 yrs warranty for manufacturing defects. I told them though I was complained only 3 months later ( Aug 2021 to Nov 2021 ) but surely their leather was of Inferior Quality & hence started deteriorating so fast . I am very much sure Durain has NOT USED NAPPA LEATHER for my sofa but ordinary rexin / cross leather which is cheap & deteriorates fast . Later i asjked them why they are replacing Leatherette when the original specs were Nappa leather, they have later send another Quotation dated 3rd Dec 2021 of Rs 35, 500/- for repairing my sofa . Also their Customer representatives were totally irresponsible & changing/ passing on the buck everytime, I have personally dealt with Darshan Jadhav, Ashish Dubey & Ranjan Parida from Goregaon East shop but very poor response . I have attached pics of Sofa Buying documents & also So called Leather, peeled off pics for your ready reference . Durain Quality needs Huge improvement, I feel they are buying cheap products from Low cost countries & selling at 50% discount in India & when Quality issues are reported they dont respond
