I bought a 3+1+1 sofa set in 2021. At the time of sale they assured of a 5 year warranty. In 2-3 years time the clothes beneath the sofa has all got torn in its own due to poor quality of the clothes used. Now they are asking for money to replace it and giving references to some policy applicable from 2021.

No proper response and explanation from the company except a couple of calls received from local store/service centre.

Pathetic customer service. No way of any escalation. No seniors taking. One of the worst companies, charging premium for poor quality products.

    I have purchased a sofa from Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) store. Warranty period of sofa is 1 year. Recently we have observed that cushion is getting flat and It's getting difficult to sit on it. We have raised the issue with the store manager as well as with customer care, but no one is ready to help us. It's been a month since we are continuously following up with them and they are trying their best to avoid the issue firsthand. Please help us as we are really disappointed in their service.

      I wasted my hard earned money by purchasing durian Benjamin sofa set 2 & 3 seater and Elanor coffee table. while delivering the products the delivery person of durian damaged the product by bringing through stairs. i repetedly communicated them they dont answer our calls properly. these people do not keep a track record of the customers. No warranty card was given worst service ever in my life i have seen.

      The employees working in the store lie to us like anything.
      before purchasing please confirm everything these people will give fake promise to customers that you have 5 year warranty then after purchase they will say that you have only 1 year material warranty.

      better go for amazon products instead of wasting the money

        Purchased three Darren Two Seater Sofa in Red colour by Durian vide (1) invoice no: DIL1920UN10790 Order No:[protected]FN1679645-S-PM25634 dated : 11 May 2019
        (2) invoice no:DIL1920UN10349 and Order No:[protected]FN1679645-S-PM25634 dated : 20 April 2019 through Pepperfry.

        But all three have been broken and they are still in warranty period. so please get them repair / exchange at your earlies

          I Pralhad Thakur residing in Goregaon East had purchased a 3 STR, Nappa Aire Leather Recliner Sofa from Durain Goregaon East shop on 20th Aug 2021 for a amount of 82, 600/ Rs ( sale of 50% was goin on in August 2021 ) . In Nov 22 month, I could see that the Leather has started peeling & at one portion it has totally come out so I lodged a Complaint with Durain's Customer care & got a complaint ticket#40022 dated 21st Nov 22.           Dear Sir,

          I am a Senior Citizen, who is currently staying in rented accommodation since I unable to move into my own accommodation because of the actions of Durian Industries Limited. (GST No.: 27AAACD1698N1Z6 - PAN No.: AAACD1698N).

          I have purchased the main doors of my house for Rs. 1, 76, 880/-, in response to Durian's quotation/Estimate Ref No: GRD[protected]R0. The amount paid by me included Delivery and Installation of the Doors, amounting to Rs. 17, 400 + applicable taxes.

          The doors were delivered to me vide Document No. DIL 2223GRD0043 Dt[protected].

          Inspite of a period of over 35 days, and my repeated reminders, the installation of the Doors have not been completed. My house has been ready for occupation, but you will agree that I just can not move in without the main door.

          Executive : Namdev Panchal- (Contact no. : [protected] / [protected]), who was assigned to take care of my order, disconnects my calls and if I am able to speak to him by calling from a new phone number, he simply says that the matter is not in his hands and he has to speak with his superiors officers and revert.

          Now I may have no choice but to take the following steps :

          1. Report the matter to all the prominent newspapers showing the apathy of Durian towards the customers.
          2. Share my plight on all social media outlets including Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram etc, telling prospective customers to be aware that this can happen to them also.
          3. File a case with Consumer Courts showing that my inability to move into the house has caused me mental agony and considerable financial loss.

          The above actions will be accompanied by all the relevant documents and WhatsApp Chats, which will prove my suffering at the hands of Durian Industries and its executives. All the relevant documents will prove that I have in fact been subjected to gross maltreatment and misrepresentation.

          You would agree that I am taking these actions, as a last resort having exhausted all possible options and I will not be responsible for the damage to the Brand and reputation of Durian Industries.

            I have purchase 3 seater sofa from durain Amritsar showroom on 09/01/2020 via invoice no AMR0102. Though Company claim 5 yrs warrenty but stiching of the sofa is worn out in just 2 years .Also the upper leather is peeled off. I have showroom executive in amritsar foe many times, but of no use. Executive is not even picking phone. Pl provide immediate resolution to avoid any further action

              Same BAD QUALITY OF SOFA story faced by me. Durian is buying cheap products from other countries & selling at 50% discount with 5 years warranty when actually their Leather peels off in within 12 months only . I have stopped buying from Durian from that incidence. Also their Customer service people go on changing so no continuity of your complaint which remains unattended for months

                L purchased one two seater Recliner from Durian industries Puducherry last year after paying Rs 65000/-.Company sales man assured 5 years warranty. After one year leather cover started peeling off in in many areas. Informed to show room and mailed to durian customer support two times.Customer care doen`t bother to respond and show room is asking Rs33000/-.for leather cover replacement. It is obvious that the fault is due to the poor quality of material used .Very bad experience

                  I have purchase one sofa and centre table for my home. The quality and service for sofa is awesome. The glass top of centre table is creating continuous problem as the adhesive which holds the glass top always got dislodged. Many times I have to follow up with showroom and they send their technician to refit it but again after few days same problem. Now it’s more than a week I have visited the showroom and complained. But no one is responding.

                  l purchased one two seater recliner from durian authorized shop puducherry last year paying Rs 65000/-. They assured 5 years warranty for the item.After one year the leather cover started peeling off at seating area, hand rest area and head rest area, Informed to Durian shop and mailed the matter to durian customer support two times .But no reply received from customer support.Shop is asking Rs 33000/- for replacing the leather cover.It is obvious that the fault is due to the material they used.So be careful.

                    I have purchased durian doors for my new house. Company claims that their product is all seasoned and good quality wood with termite resistance ( as per their website). Because of their brand image and promises made by the sales person with respect to the product quality, we bought the product.

                    After installation of doors, within 2 months we faced a termite issue. When this problem was shared by the sales person of the company via email. She refused to take responsibility.

                    "This is to inform you regarding the complaint for termite in the doors.
                    The Brand does not hold responsibility for termite in the doors or door frames. Our warranty does not cover the same."

                    I have also shared the attached pictures for the same on 16 July 2022 but I haven't received any response from her end yet.

                    Needful steps to be taken by the company regarding this issue.

                    Also the person they had sent for the installation of the doors and door stopper, the quality of work wasn't upto the mark and same has been communicated to her but again no response.

                    Never buy Durian Doors. In fact Firian Products.
                    With in in 2 years the products will be ruined.
                    I have suffered . So please don't trust the Brand Durian.

                      I placed order #DE57032 and wasnt handed over invoice both on email or printed form. I have tried raising it with the team over their chat bot and email and call, but no response. Need the tax invoice ASAP.

                        Door frames

                        Please find the attached picture, A kind of Mushroom has formed inside the bathroom door frame. I’m really wondered what kind of quality did Durian was using. We are really not happy for the kind of Quality used.

                        We are from SBB Sapphire, Bangalore. Recently we have purchased a new flat here, in which builder added Durian Door frames, bathroom doors to all the flats . Not less than 2 months we have started observing issues...

                        I have ordered and pre-paid Rs. 10, 595 for a Marvel Office Chair on 20th May, 2022 (Order number: DE#56068).

                        Since then, I have received no communication regarding my purchase except for an obligatory order confirmation. I have raised complaint on the website but never received any callback. A customer service representative provided a lead (by the name Abhishek) who does not pick up calls despite trying to reach him multiple times.

                        Meanwhile, it has been 5 business days since I placed an order and they have already crossed the expected delivery date.

                        Most of the time their customer support line is busy and it's difficult to reach out to any representative. The order tracking information on the website is horrible and conveys no information whatsoever (Status still shown as: Processing)

                        Either the company decides to deliver the product or pay a full refund of the amount that I have prepaid to them.

                          Again phone received from Avinish regd the damaged 3 seater Sofa which I have not received, only 2 Seater receipt I have been given to your employee as per your advice.
                          &
                          Avinish Mobile no-[protected] & he is forcing me to take damaged 3 Seater Sofa or My worker is visiting your home for checking it & will repair also but according to our discussion it will be replaced with new one yesterday and why you are wasting my time & yours also?

                          This type of threatening you all gave to me lasted from1 day.

                          May I know why you are all forcing me to get this damaged sofa or repaired. I have given full & final payment for Rs-111000/- plus 1000/- for an old sofa exchange after this why I take this damaged product.

                          Really very surprising to see it's cheating & harassment with me & my wife on 15th May when we visited your showroom for checking the sofa but you have not shown us & take payment full without shown the product & you told us that don't worry about sofa it will delivered to you in OK form not even a single cut if you receive damaged then we will provide you new one.

                          Now everybody is threatening to take the same & it's totally cheating & harassment for my family & we are very much mentally disturb hence no option is there for me only option is consumer court.

                          Don't want to deal more with Durian employees like Parmod who has given us this deal & Avinish is having attitude & behavioural issues and does not sense to talk with the customer.

                          On the very first day you all created a dispute after taking all payments & how can i expect for durian Sofas as far as warranty is concerned for 5 years..

                          THIS IS ALL MY CONCERNS & to see this I am not interested in taking this sofa hence provide my Sofa & take this.it's in a packed position & not opened by us,

                          Request you to kindly refund all Payments complete as received by you including cash 1000/- Rs because we are all family members fully harassed & mentally disturb.

                          Today I have received only 2 Seater Durian Sofa against my full payments & given receipt already discussed with you the same time & 3 Seater Sofa not received by me due to damage Photograph attached & according to your advice it's lying with me for return back/ Exchange and I am waiting for a new one fresh 3 Seater Durian Sofa & You & your staff committed me wait for at least 10 days & after that we will provide you a new one & exchange with the damaged 3 Seater Sofa lying with you & kindly hold it till further advice.

                          Also given an old sofa for exchange & given 1000/- Cartage as per your advice.

                          Very surprised to see this after giving full & final payments to you but received only 2 Seater Sofa & damaged 3 Seater.

                              Hi, we have done complaint about our sofa which was under lifetime warranty as promised by dealer in kirti nagar showroom. But when complaint done they told us charges quite high including labour charges. When we asked that labour charges should not be included as warranty means only parts & cartage they started abusing us & told us to do complaints wherever you can we can't do anything. We are very surprised about company employee way of talking & request you to take appropriate action against our complaint. Mr surya parkash was the person who used abusing language & he is in charge of kirti nagar complaint section.

                                We had brought this sofa in the year 2nd feb 2018 in the same year 8th july 2018 leather started peeling off and level of kusan was gone down we had complain Durian (Goregaon) East showroom and it has been resolve
                                now same problem has been occur stitching and leather started peeling of., we complain same to them and we got reply that you need to pay charges for repair.

                                when we brought this sofa we got warranty of 5 year and told us no need to pay any charge if any thing happen within 5 year from the day of purchase.

                                please help us to resolve this issue

                                  I have bought a centre table fm Durian with one year warranty. In no time, the table glass & frame got seperated. When I complaint to them, some one came and applied a glue to fix it. Again it came out withing two weeks. I have been chasing since then to give me a permanent solution. I have original bill copy & ack of the complaint.

                                    The hydraulic system doesn't work properly and the side lights stopped working too. I raised a complaint against my 5 year warranty and they told me that they will charge for the visit and charge for the pickup of bed and won't repair at home either. The same happened for the sofa too.
