I bought leather sofa set for nearly 2 lacs and it started yellowing within one year and one tear also appeared. Service team has no answers as to why leather started yellowing and no solution but to change the entire leather, cost of which i have to bear, is rs 20, 000 and no guarantee that same problem will not appear again... I've been cheated n harassed by durian. First they sell high priced cheap quality products and in name of warranty, customer has to again pay high material cost as well as transportation!

    In january 2019 i have purchased glass table from durian company. At that time company's sales person said that we sell most reliable and durable products in our industry, but it is totally fake commitment by their company. The glass table i bought from them has been broken by itself. When i reported this to company then they sent company's survayers to my home to check whether the gllas table has been broken itself or by customer's mistake. Then survayers observed that there isn't any customer's fault in that.in spite of that company demands rs 800 to fix the table. When i cross argued them for the same then they said you have to pay for that or other wise purchase the glass from outside. If i purchase the glass from outside then why should i purchase your company's table. For me it is totally a bad experience. From now onwards i prefer to buy local brands than durian company products. All the commitments make by your company are fake. My number is [protected].

      We bought sofa from durian on july 2018 but actually got a sofa on august 2018. Sofa torn due to the quality of manufacturing on aug 2019 and we called the call center on aug 2019 to follow and repair their product under their terms of warranty. Since one month we called, they always say will contact in 24 hours but nobody call back. We spent time calling them everyday and what we got is only the word sorry we will call you back but nothing happened.

      We are expat who come to work in india, this is such a bad image of your country that we have never seen before. Please suggest and help to solve this problem.

        Hello

        I have purchased double bed from durian showroom noida 3 years back. Now i have shifted to hyderabad and want my bed to be reassembled. It is nearly a month and i am still searching for a service provider. Literally fed up. Your customers care no always says we are sending a person within an hour but it never become fruitful.
        So please i want that company should do some help and provide me the service man who can fix the bed.
        I have mailed the photographes of the bed and the invoice copy too.
        Looking forward for a positive response.

          I am very upset with your company deal with customer..
          My house work is hampering due to durien...

            I purchased durian drake sofa set (3+2) in october2018 from jaipur rajasthan. After 15 days i heared some cracking sound during sitting in 3 seater sofa. I saw middle seat was depressed. Next day i called showroom and told them about d problem. First they were not interested in my problem. When i called them again n again than they send their technician but problem was not solved. Now i request u to do the needful as the middle seat of 3 seater sofa is depressed n inclined forward.

              This is to inform you that i had lodged a request for first time installation of double bed and wardrobe. I have purchased near rs 3 lacs plus of your products including sofa set centre table and dinning table set etc. But only requesting you to fix three of your products. Your shop manager and customer support assistant told me that your durian team will help me to install or assemble the items anywhere where they have their service. Thats why i purchased all items and moved to noida. Then i file a request for first time installation on date 26/11/2018 through phone no [protected]. Your complaint manager of ncr circle send only one person on date 03/12/2018 for assembling of aforesaid items and iam very sorry to say that i faced a very irresponsible and rude behaviour of the complaint manager also he was demanding money or labour help of two people for first time installation and told me that he can only arrange to install when i purchased the items from delhi only. Reallly i was surprised to see such an act from representatives of such a big brand. This wont have been expected from such a reputed company and i feel regret for purchasing the items from your brand. Even i can get better assistance from other local brands due to this you may loose your customers in future.
              I am attaching reciepts of the items
              Hope you can understand and resolve my matter at the earliest otherwise i have to take further step of going to consumer forum court and it will impringe an image of durian fooling the customers.

                My double bed headboard has so many cracks, base ply got bend & it doesnt have enough support to hold the weight of mattress. I have never seen such type of assembling which will never sustain for even 1 year. Durian furniture is just smart looking but not at all durable. Durian after sales service is very bad. They dont pick our phone calls nor reply whatsapp msgs & sms. They just make false commitments to get it replaced & repaired.

                  I bought L-shape sofa in June 2015 under 5 years promised warranty. The sofa material has started peeling off from many places and I lodged a complaint. After multiple reminders I got an absurd estimate of 35, 000 Rs. without even understanding the requirement and physical visit. Now I have sent multiple reminders and it is over 15 days, no revert from customer care. These brands are fooling customers by sheer selling gimmicks and trapping them. The cost of repairing is almost 10 times the actual and even the furniture also priced almost 4 times the same available in the local market. Some check has to be put on such brands. I also suggest all buyers of Durain to be extra cautious and refrain from such brands.

                  We have purchased some executive chairs, Visitor Chairs and Comfortable Chairs on 14/09/2015, but now some chairs pulled down automatically, not standing properly.

                    Bought another bed and mattress on March 16, and its been 40 days i am requesting sales Person of Ludhiana .Mr. Pashotam[protected] and now he doesnt pick my call also ).. that the Mattress is of short size for which i am enclosing pics of the Gap.
                    ​Since 15 days he was saying that he is gonna send the new one. and Now he wants to me send the old mattress from chandigarh to Ludhiana and get the new one collected.
                    a) I do not want to deal with Durian ever in my life
                    b) I am no longer interested in the mattress as previous complaint of returning the mattress at my Ambala Home was also neglected, as this mattress gives so much of back pain
                    c) Why the hell customer needs to send the mattress back, as i ordered the Bed on phone and he forced me to take the mattress also as they are giving 50% discount.It is company's duty to send the right mattress and Bed and if by any chance, we received the wrong mattress it is your duty to get it fixed.
                    d) I have all the bills and conversations, Your person yourself said i should have bought MM Foam or Sleepwell mattress as i should be aware that Duiran is for Furniture not for Mattresses..
                    ******* I am going to post all pics and conversations and whats app messages to all Social media, Media and finally to Court.

                      This is dr vinod ostwal a proud customer of durian furnitures. I have buyed 3&2 str recliner from aurangabad showroom, maharashtra, india,. On 31 st jan 2014 the invoice no of which is ad/ft/in/00167. I have problem with the sofa not giving comfotable suspention. I have personally talked to the show room on phone and also send them the defective photos of the sofas. I leave in beed a nearby distict from aurangabad. The showroom authorities are not giving me the service at beed which can be very well done at the place. This is not a big expectation but the customeris getting suffered as he has buyed a prime range of your goods but the basic service is not upto the mark. Plz help me out for my complaint. I hope i will get a positive fedback or else it wont be possible for me & to my indian medical association beed colleaguesto approach durian any more considering the poor quality servicesprovided to me. We doctors are prime customers and we expect a hassel free service and we never bother of the rangeof goods. So plz consider my genuine request and oblige.                       delay was due to officee shifting, call can only be attended on 18th, refused to give complaint no.

                        I have bought sofa & centre table (Invoice no. : d-gog/in/00277/17-18.) from durian, goregaon, mumbai. Within 15 days i noticed sofa is bend from both the sides. When i called in the shop they said we are taking care of your complaint it will be resolved very soon. Again after waiting almost 3 weeks, no one attended. I called again, another lady was attended my call say sorry for the delay, again assured to resolve the problem in 3-4 days. Its been almost 4 months no one even called & attended the problem. Yesterday i did online chat, i got to know, i spoke to wrong person (This is actually very funny & very much mismanagement.) who gave me the wrong commitment to resolve the problem very soon. Also i bought the moving glass top centre table. While moving the glass top to one side suddenly glass detached from the metal where is was stick, fell down broke. I am surprised of the durability of the furniture we bought from durian. I hope my problem will be taken care of at the earliest on priority. Because it is already delayed..

                        When my above complaint is taken care of.
                        I have purchased 3 seater and 2 seater sofa in may 204.both from Durian phoniex Mall kurla mumbai .both of sofa torn from all sides. requesting you to sent a technical person as my sofa has been torn in between near stiches... i have a warranty card of 5 years pls sent some one after calling me.. my contact no [protected].

                          I have purchased a crockery unit on cost of rs.85ooo/= from your showroom at allahabad namely shri balaji home decide civil lines allahabad on 25.05.2013 with guarantee and assurance that it is fully termite proof. However with great pain i have to inform you that said unit has been damaged by termite for which i have already made complaint to your above showroom manager. Damage is so grave that it cannot be repaired. The unit is well within warrantee period of 5 years. The photograph of damaged part is also being send separately for your perusal.

                          I had send a mail on11.8.2017 and 12.8.2017 regarding termite damage of crockery unit purchased from your showroom at allahabad. I have also send photograph of damaged part o[censored]nit for your perusal and doing needful. The photocopy of voucher and warrantee has also been send you. I also made complaint to your local showroom and one person visited to see the actual position. But till the date neither damaged part has been repaired nor changed. The local showroom manager told me that i have to bear the expenses of material for which i agreed looking in to my necessity and total cost o[censored]nit and i have also purchased the required material such as board and other related material but in spite of my repeated request they have neither completed work nor they are responding properly to my phone.

                          I think i have committed mistake to purchase durian product and decided not to purchase any durian product in future and also advise to all concern please be careful.

                              This is Saurabh Baheti from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. I had most pathetic experience with Durian - CEDAR DECOR PVT. LTD. F-2, Shapath-1, Nr. Cargo Motors, S. G. Highway, Ahmedabad-380 015 which made me lost my trust in such a reputed Brand.

                              I ordered one particular design of Laminates approximately couple of weeks ago which I was informed that it’s out of stock and shall take 7 days to fulfill the requirement. Thereafter till today my ordered stuffs haven’t arrived and nobody cares at durian to get it done by asking the authorized dealers or distributors.

                              I am writing this email today hoping that at least through this medium the culprit should be treated well so the other customers can expect better services from such a leading brand.

                                Dear Concerned,

                                I had a great faith in Durian furniture, however I have lost such trust because of following reasons:

                                1. I bought leather sofa brown colour which has been depressed (depressions at several places) and now cracked although I was guranteed to have a robust product.

                                2. Most unfortunate and unsatisfactory part is non responsiveness of the durina exclusive showroom in Kirti Nagar, New Delhi. I called thrice to the call center and was informed to contact a complaint at the showroom itself. I did call them several time but phone were disconnected after listening to the concern raised and assured they shall call me back.

                                I need my sofa replaced at earliest possible in order to resume the trust in brand like durian. Please find the detail of my purchase as below:

                                  I have purchased 3+2+1 leather sofa set from Durain last year but till now I made 5 times complaint to Durain that its leather quality is not good and more then 5 times we are getting cuts in the leather. Once the sofa only damaged leather part got replaced with new leather but immediately within 2 hrs again the lather started cutting. We have feedup with complaining soo many times about this issue that the leather quality is very poor and we need replacement but Durian team just gives false promises but no action is taken from them. I have purchased this from Bangalore Shivaji nagar showroom, Pavan-[protected].

                                    I purchased edward sofa and centre table on 23rd april 2015 for127000.00, i complained about the damaged sofa to patna showroom in october before diwali, no one came to see my sofa till 12 th november then i mailed you on 12/13 th of november regarding this delay, on 14th november 1 mistry came to inspect the sofa and told that the 3 seated is broken, foam is displaced at several places and cloth is also torned. When i asked what is to be done then he told that they will take the sofa and get it reapired in 5 days . But till date no one came back or even called to take the sofa.
                                    It is quite disheartening to see this lacklusture attitude of the company towards your customer, greatly disturbed i am sorry to say that i have made a great mistake to trust durian, because my trust on this brand has been shattered and i think the reputation of company is at stake.

                                    Kindly get my sofa repaired asap.

                                      Dear mr sanjay dokania,
                                      This is to bring to your notice the blatant dishonesty and consumer mockery being done by the durian allahabad showroom.

                                      Our sofa set developed cracks and was torn at the seats. Note that the same sofa set had been bought in aug 2015. This time we were told that it has 5 year warranty across the country.
                                      We are complaining since september 2016 and the dealer of allhabad is saying we don't have material and labour to repair the sofa.
                                      I wrote a mail to your customer care but till date there is no reversion on the same.

                                      Plz tell me what to do next???

                                        Hi,

                                        I recently bought a WILSON/QUEEN BED- Solid Wood Bed from The Durian Store in Bangalore. I paid the money in advance and the product came home after 7 days.

                                        As soon as it arrived, we found the product defective since the head board which was sold to us stating solid wood was actually 2 pieces joint together. Moreover the head board was cracked at the joint.

                                        On pointing it out to the Sales person, he said will send someone to attend to this. So every other day since a week now, someone from the store is coming home to fix a screw or two some place or the other. Since this was continuing, I asked for a replacement of the same product with a fresh piece when I was told that there is no stock. When I told them that I'll complaint to the Mumbai head office, the local Bangalore office just stopped attending to my complaint..

                                        Now you understand my plight with having invested a good amount of money behind purchasing this bed and having issues from the first day itself.

                                        So I will ensure that the whole world knows about the bad quality of products from Durian Furniture. Every possible website should feature the bad products that Durian Sells.
