I had ordered fruits and vegetables on 4th may 2020 and haven't still received the order. I had tried contacting via phone number which have been given in their website but no response at all. I would like to know when the order be fulfilled else I would like to get the refund of my money that I have paid

    I have ordered vegetables through ethottam website and paid amount. Got message about order no. And will deliver. My order no is order #30611 was placed on april 19, 2020. Till today (7 th may). Not delivered the vegetables and not responding to any queries. I have tried phone support, e mail. But no response. Please do the needful. Or make arrangements to refund my money back.

      Sir,
      I placed an order on line at ethottam.com website of Govt of Tamilnadu, vide order no.44802 on 01.05.2020 for delivery at KILPAUK CHENNAI 600010 AREA and the same is yet to be delivered, even after SIX DAYS.

      The cluster incharge for kipauk chennai 10 area never answers the phone calls made. Also, the Madhavaram Zone incharge, in whose jurisdiction this kilpauk area was originally assigned was also contacted and he is also not answering the calls.

      Two days back, some phone support phone numbers were introduced ([protected] /[protected] /[protected] /[protected] The calls made to land lines given above are answered and the person who attended the call assured to look into this case and do the needful but of no use.

      I was asked to contact another no.[protected], which belongs to one Mr. Mahendra kumar, Deputy Director of Horticulture and the several attempts made to contact him went in vain. He is not at all answering the phone calls. So, I have sent two messages to his mobile no and even for that there is no response to that from him.

      There is no further escalation mechanism in the website. Hence, I am now bringing this to the consumer portal for redressal of grievance. If there is any problem from ethottam end, I suggest to them to notifiy the same to the consumers for their information.

        I ordered fruits and vegetable on 27.04.2020, order no 38498. We were waited till date and there is no change in status or no update from the company. I am surprised that they are still taking new orders when they are unable to complete accepted deliveries. More dissapointment is that they have an chat system which never responds and i tried to send them an email [protected]@ethottam.com which was mentioned on their website but it got bounced back. Auto revert from wattsapp is my only communication and there are some mobile numbers which never responds. I am now unable to cancel my order and it seems this company is taking current situation to their advantage by taking orders and not delivering them. Customer has no way to contact them. Can we get any help to get our money back? Pl respond

          My order no44926 placed by me in e thottam govt horticulture site on 1st may got delivered yesterday 5th. Most items are not delivered and amongst the items delivered half are rotten. Chilies, ladies fingers, tomatoes, potatoes etc. I strongly believed the veg packs meant for destroying due to covid outbreak in koyambedu market has been delivered. Had it been packed afresh the waste items could not have been packed. Lemon and ginger are almost have dried skin thereby revealing that sealed and packed some days ago. The site specified phone numbers are not at all working and chat box is of no use. I am afraid that having opened this pack i may be prone to health hazards. One big question is putting the direct orders made through website pending, how this horticulture department open retail sale through zomato. Most of the items un delivered to me is very much available through e thottam if booked through zomato. So far i didn’t get any delivery intimation nor the refund details. For sample i upload the vazhakkai picture for your kind attention. I very much doubt the weight also it is much less than the prescribed kg in the vegetable pack, i request the department to give explanation and refund the full amount. Status on order booking till delivery is under process. Main issue they don’t pick up the call always busy and jambulingham who is the assigned officer for our area has switched off the phone. Please donot buy. How the department is going to address my health threat in the present epidemic by delivering these throw away products to public like me

          Atlast got the call connected and spoken. Have replaced certain items though not delivered all items. Regarding refund I donot know. I think the department is on the move to sort out the issues. 👍

            Have booked vegetable pack on 1 at may and delivered on 5 th may. I strongly feel that vegetables packed some days back kept for destroying following koyambedu covid outbreak has been delivered to me. Had it been freshly packed how the rotten items of brinjals ladies finger, chilly potatoes, tomatoes, kovakkai, ripe vazhakai with outer portion black be delivered? I doubt the weight also. Is it clearance sale. Keeping our orders in pending how they open outlet in zomato for retail delivery? If the quality is not good u can as well refund the amount instead of transferring the rotten items to us. Being the government agency pl give a reasonable reply and refund the full amount. All perished items are delivered to us who booked through site and other quality items are being supplied through zomato. The items they told not available for me are as well available for supply through these agency outlets. How? More so i am very much worried about health hazards. Had i known this earlier, i would not have opened the pack risking my health. Skin of all vegetables are very dry looked like drained in sun. The chat model and other phone numbers are not working / attended to

              I had ordered mukkani (Fruits) on 29.04.2020 vide my order 40788 for rs. 600/-. The delivery was assured within 48 hours of the order. But despite of lapse of one week, i have not yet received the fruits. Guindy zone of horticulture department, government of tamilnadu has to deliver the fruits. (Under the banner ethottam)
              I have sent so many messages. Still there is no response. The phone no. [protected] is switched off.
              Request you to please arrange to deliver the fruits immediately.

                  I have given order order to E thottam on 29th..Dey send me confirmed mail as accepting the payment..Till now items won't get delivered ..My order number is 40220..My place is under guindy zone, 600114- Palavanthangal..I have tried all these days deir customer service number, but always seems as, busy, though it's ringing sometimes no one attending call..I don't know what should do next..As it's lock down period, for safety precautions I have given order to them, my money, time lost..I have seen many complaints regarding this from other customers too..Please do something to get the items delivered soon or refund our amount.

                    Received the order just now. The vegetables were foul-smelling and we found that half the pack was rotten. The foul water from the rotten vegetables had also wiped off on the others.
                    Reaction: appalled by the quality of vegetables supplied!

                      We had ordered at Ethottam on 1st May 2020 vide order number 44530 by paying Rs.800. There is no response when calling the number given or they won't pick calls. When mail sent also they don't reply, so is TN govt created this platform to take money from consumers & cheat consumers by not delivering products.

                        Order #42287 was placed on April 30, 2020 and is currently Processing.

                        I placed an order on April 30 and am yet to receive my order, its been more than 5 days now and am not able to track or follow up with any help desk nor no contact no. is mentioned, they had mentioned that the order would be delivered in 24-48 hrs, and my order is still in process stage .

                            On May 29th I placed order for Rs.660/- thro e-thottam portal and paid thro SBI Debit card and recd the sms saying that the amount has been trasnfd to concerned portal from my bank. But till today i have not recd the materials nor they r answering my calls or mails. It is a day light robbery !!! pls interfere and get my money back. or at least the items delivered. It shame on the part of Government agency to trap people by such portals and collecting money but not delivering.

                              Our order number 41888 dated 29th april 2020 for delivery at mylapore is not yet delivered against their announced delivery duration of 24 to 48 hrs. No complaint registration number. No other contact number other than booking contacts. Cancellation procedure is not divulged. As per their request, the order number, pin code number and order date was sent on 1st may for their follow-up. Still not delivered. Very poor service.

                                They will deliver one item and they will scam u by saying they will give later but u won't get it if public have more money with u then u can go for it...be safe don't be scam in E thottam.

                                  I got a worst experience with ethottam. I tried to order vegetable pack c on april 8th 2020 and it got cancelled automatically after the payment. Then i placed a new order again. But that order was not delivered and we followed them up for multiple times. Finally we got them after a week. Got a worst quality thing is an another part. Then i didn’t get the refund for the cancelled order. I am following up them daily to get the refund. But they are not responding properly. I didn’t get the refund yet. Worst experience ever with an online shopping.
                                  We had ordered Alphonso 5kg.Potato 2kg.Musk melon 2kg and jack fruit 10kg.
                                  we received today 4 kg of alphonso and potato .The mangoes were so raw it was fit for using it for pickle.We are senior citizens and dont know how many days it will take to ripe and how many will get rotten in the process.
                                  while Government is keen facilities to reach its citizens, person who are assigned to handle are so callous and inefficient.Though their telephone nos are provided, conveniently all the phones are switched off.
                                  Honble Minister in charge should ensure these supervisors perform their duties deligently and ensure quality product is sent to each and every customer
                                  My order No. 45849 was placed on May 1st 2020, this is yet to be delivered.

                                  I have been trying to call the provided mobile numbers, there has been no response. Either they are all switched off or the call is not taken. It has been extremely frustrating and painful.

                                  I have sent a mail to [protected]@ethottam.com to refund the amount paid. Again, there has been no response.

                                  How can people trust their Government if there is a scam involved such as this! Please do not make the mistake of ordering through E-thottam!

                                    I have placed an order on 29th april 2020 through the portal e-thottam run by tamil nadu horticulture dept., i paid rs.660/- thro sbi debit card, and received the sms from my bank regarding the debiting of amount from my a/c. To e-thottam portal with taxation number. My order number is 40632, and for the last 4 days, i am trying to use their help line and customer support and emails nothing is responding i. E. They r not replying to my mail or answering my calls including the general inquiry number, is either ringing or busy or switched off, and mails i had send some 6 to 7 mails to mail id but no response from them, kindly get back my money or ask them to deliver the products for rs.660/- i have placed, pls help me.
