Ebay.in — Fraud ebay sellers - defective handset delivered & not responding on mail/call. Seller not picking up the phone | |||||
I had raised a complaint after 2 days of new handset purchase. Issue was that software is corrupt & handset doesnt works. Its switch off all the time. Whereas outside body of the handset looks good/new. I have raised claim as per ebay guarantee process within 2 days of purchase, its been 1 month - no one is responding. Neither ebay calim department nor seller. I recv call once a fortnight that we have submitted your complaint to seller & it is upon him what resolution he provides. Handset cost paid= rs 19599 Model - sony xperia m5 gold Seller name - kaja nazimuddin, tel – [protected], Seller - email - [protected]@yahoo.com Ebay claim id : 1942913, Ebay purchase id - pay paisa id :[protected] Ebay has no resolution, if i callup at their call cnetre, they say wait time on call is 1 hour & then also they dont transfer the call to the claim department. 2.Handset cost = Rs 19599, paid=18227 on 24 Apr
3.Interest on Rs 18227 for 1 month coz of delayed processing of claim = (8%*18227)/12=Rs 121
4.Called at Ebay call centre from 2 may to 20 may = 31 times with each call having hold of 30-40 mins= Rs 20 per call (avg) *31=Rs 620
Total expected Claim reimbursement amount=620+121+18227+790=Rs 19758

There has been a serious response issue from ebay & the handling of the complaint is very poor. Whatever is your company policy / Timelines, atleast response could have been better.
Coz of this I have already raised the complaint in grievance cell before 17 may .Now, i expect complete smooth cash back in my account. Would appreciate i[censored] process Rs 19758 without any further hassels that you have already created. Orelse i will have to push the case to consumer court aswell.
