[Resolved] Ebay.in — Product not delivered, not even getting refund | |||||
I have purchased a AC from ebay which is not delivered to me, also they are not refunding the amount. Details of incident are given below: (I have proof of all these incidents as mail and call recordings) While searching for product on eBay I saw a product in auction & I placed the bid. On 10/03/17 I got a mail from ebay "You won with a Rs. 33, 000.00 bid! The next step is to pay." After two minutes I received another email ebay message by seller. Seller said final amount is Rs. 27500 including shipping and installation charges. this is a brand new piece. then i got a call from seller to pay the amount in ebay account which he texted me. i told him i will do the same after confirming from ebay. I called ebay customer care and had a talk with a telecaller and her supervisor NIDHI, i asked whether there is any defect in the AC as the price is much less than the MRP Rs 71490 she said the product is new and ebay guarantee is there. if there is any problem then ebay will be responsible and you can make the payment as it is an ebay account. Asking her for double verification she confirmed the same from the backend team and denied to make the payment and told to ask the seller for payment link. I did the same & asked for the link in ebay messages. Seller provided the payment link on ebay messages. then i confirmed it from ebay on 12 march, i asked ebay executive Parveen whether the link is safe and secure, and it is covered under ebay guarantee or not, whether the payment is going to ebay like other transations or not. he said the link is of ebay and paisapay. you can make the payment and the amount is safe and secure and covered under ebay guarantee and it will transffered to ebay & its like any other transaction on ebay. i asked again for confirmation and also told him that i had a doubt that the seller might be fraud as it has entered ebay just 4 days before the auction and whether the payment goes to the seller's account directly. he said they have proper documentation of seller be assured about it & its a good thing you are concerned about the seller and you are following the procedure as this is heavy amount and the payment is going to ebay. i made the payment through the link of rs 27500. seller sent me the invoice on mail and updated shipping details on ebay. As the shipping details were invalid i called him to get the correct details. he didn't attend my calls i left a message on ebay on 16 march to give valid tracking id. I called ebay customer care on 17/03/17 they said they had forwarded the concern that they will provide me the valid orderID, paisapayID and the Tracking ID of the product. On 19/03/17 they registered complaint against seller with complaint number ts027310, 20/03/17 they said the case is already escalated and we are working on it. On 22/03/17 i had a talk with NIDHI floor supervisor. its the first time they said the payment was made offline, at the end of discussion NIDHI said i will get my refund of rs 27500 within 2 days. i asked if she had my account details. she said she already have. On 24 march i called and they said i will get the amount by the end of evening. i asked about transaction id she said system is slow, please wait for evening and you will get your amount in bank account. Till now i neither received my refund nor get the prompt response from ebay. they are denying for giving the refund and saying that they are closing the case from their side and said we cant do anything regarding this, you can do FIR against seller.
