[Resolved] Ebay.in — raised a claim for a wrong product but ebay suspended my account instead of closing the claim | |||
I bought a lenovo y50-70 laptop from a seller " shop-your-world_mmmlt " through ebay on 21st july for 108290. The model i ordered was lenovo y[protected] which has a 4700hq processor and gtx 860 gpu with a non touch matte display. But what i have received was a different model[protected] with 4720hq processor and gtx 960 gpu with touch display. This model has serious heating issues, display hinge break problem and due to touch display very poor viewing angle. On top of this, the description said it was a new laptop imported from us, but when i checked the lenovo site for warranty and it resulted as the warranty had expired two years back? So i raised a claim regarding this on ebay, claim id : 3097916 paisapay id : [protected], they asked me to send the pictures of the product and specifications of the product. The claim was under process for 24 days, and i have spoke to them at least 30times, they promised to close the case on 08/09/2017 but suddenly my account got suspended mysteriously on 07/09/2017 and the claim has been closed. When i contacted the support team they said that the account was permanently suspended due to policy violations, when i asked them what was the policy i violated, they said that they cannot discuss that with me as it is a confidential information.. Wtf? Seriously? Ebay closed the account without proper reason to the account holder? I have been a customer for almost 3 years and they find me suspicious now? I have contacted the seller, he said that he is willing to accept the product from me and issue a refund but it has to be through ebay only. So ultimately even if the buyer wants to accept a return, ebay wont allow this to happen, why? Because ebay has already disbursed the money to the seller and now it is easier for them to simply suspend my account and close the case instead of asking the seller to refund right? The ebay support team says i have to talk to the seller regarding the issue and sort it between ourselves. Then why the # should i buy through ebay? I have attached the images for proof.
