Sir,

I Bidded a Pen Drive and one the same. I made the payment immediately through my Cr Card through Paisa Pay. After that i received a mail from the seller asking me to pay Rs 820 for the product which is against Ebay policy. Then i mailed the seller thrice regarding this issue and he is not at all responding.

So i raised the issue to Ebay customer care and the responce given by them is not satisfactory. After that no responce from Ebay also.

The amount i paid also is not refunded.

Kindly see to that i get this product.

This is Prasad. I understand what problems u r facing. I am also a ebay seller as well as buyer. When this type of problem occurs you should directly open the Case. To open the case go to Resolution centre and select the reason and type the item number. Ebay will look in this matter. If any Problem occures contact eBay India Customer service centre at[protected]Toll Free). They will look in your matter.     I ordered a dress of aliyabhut And karishma tanna by seen a catalog but the dress which I got is different the jacket is different from the catalog in catalog the jacket was of thread or wire but the delivered one is of net And looking very cheep.       hi guys,



      I bought one 32' Panasonic television on ebay india by paying Rs. 24000 by my credit card.

      I did this transaction in 1st week of August.

      In this period Ebay India had launched so called "Raksha Bandhan Gift Offer".

      As per the offer if somebody buys product worth more than Rs. 10, 000 and pays by using their paisapay( i.e. using credit card or online bank transfer) system then

      buyer can chose any one of the following gift;


      i. Hydracoach (DJ4NYZ6V55)
      ii. VIP i4 Laptop Backpack (S9JMBNKJ3S)
      iii. Transcend 4GB MP3 player (3IXUMNG4DR)
      iv. Altec Lansing Multimedia Speaker (7E7YSJN3OT)


      So while placing order, I chose Transcend 4GB MP3 player. Though I received the ordered TV in time, there is still no sign of free gift.


      So I contacted ebay supoport (by mail of course).

      They said to me since I have violated ebay's policy I am not entitled for free gift.

      They didn't even bother to specify which policy I violated.

      This is cheating & untruthful behavior on ebay's part.

      I guess they do promo & offer free gifts to buyers to increase their revenue (on paper) but when time comes to honor their commitment they just back of, without giving any clear /tangible reason.

      They just copy paste one line "since U have violated ebay policies, we can't give you gift"

      In the end my experience with ebay India was bad & now I am planing to return the TV which I bought from them.

      Do U guys have had the same/similar experience or am I the only unfortunate one ?

      Please share your views so that we can all unite against untruthful behavior of Ebay India and other people won't get cheated by so called offers of Ebay.

      Hi

      Many of ebay customers are like you and crying for gift promised by ebay. There call centre is full of Parrorts, they just reads and do not understand customer query.

      You can contact ebay and ask for gift as you have paid and your transaction completed. If ebay do not help than you can return item back and reverse transaction. You can dispute your credit card payment as deal not completed as per terms.

            I bought an apple ipod shuffle 1 GB from a seller listed on ebay.in. At the time of purchasing there was a warranty of six months on the earphone, so when my ear phone was not working I asked the seller to send me replaced on but he did'nt reply to my request and after repeated request for 2 months on his mobile he send me a duplicate cheap earphone which was of low quality instead of original apple earphone.I called the ebay.in call center but it was of no use, even i send an email to which i did'nt get any reply.I request the online shoppers not to buy from ebay.in as this is completely a cheating website.The seller name is 'akson' and his office is at bhajipala lane, Mumbai.

            It is true that ebay sellers are not genuine. They seem to be fraudulent as they do not replace or repair the item which corrupts the very first day of receipt. Buyers are advised to abstain from making purchases through the ebay. satdev
            Take my words, genuine sellers are get out of Ebay in long time . Best part is Ebay is never worried about what sellers are doing or selling . They are only into making money from high commission . Ebay is not a good place to shop . New online stores in India are better placed to name few Flipkart, Myntra, Jabong . I honestly feel these are better place to shop . When you buy from Ebay, you should know Ebay does not guarantee anything on product or service. When compared to other website like Flipkart, Myntra, Jabong, they guarantee, as they directly sell to you . Ebay acts like a middleman getting commission . I don't think this platform has future in India .
            i would not like to give any rating to such Sellers and i would like to suggest people not to buy any product from such sellers at the same time i am disappointed with the Ebay after sale service as well they are not helping at all. Ebay is not a good place to shop . New online stores in India are better placed to name few Flipkart, Myntra, Jabong. i baught Pantech burst p9070 ph from ebay and it was delivered in 7 days which is a good thing however the back pannel was scratched and the charger didnt work till now left messages to ebay and seller both and they denied to replace the charger and back pannel. please please please do not buy from Ebay as Ebay sellers are fake.

              I purchased a mobile "nokia 6630" item id[protected] on 2nd week of Feb 2009 which i NEVER recieved so i put the case in resolution center .
              On 13 March i closed the case and i requested for the payment refund under Buyer's Protection.
              I talked to customer executive 100 of times regarding my case ... But they just tell me to wait 2-3 days ...again 2-3... days again 2-3 days... and took >3 weeks ( on April 7, 2009) for issuing a claim cheque under Standard Purchase Protection Claim No 1693183.

              But till now i have NOT got any cheque .

              I again complaint so many times but they said they require a max 60 days for the delivery of the claim cheque. After 60 days (on 8 June, 2009) i wrote again that i did NOT recieve any cheque. And till date i have written 4-5 mails for the same but they just reply the same thing again and again ( please see below).
              Its been 6 months ( 1/2 year ) for this case and i still got no refund of my money. It really pathetic that they are making fool of the customer by claiming that they give so many services for the customers and actually giving nothing instead stealing their money

                  i won bid in ebay india for puchasing a mobile SIGMATEL S88 MULTIMEDIA DUALSIM MOBILE of item code[protected] and accordingly i pay money through interbank transfer ( from sbi) on 05 Jun'09 as per email received from ebay to his registered seller akhilesh jha, Delhi.i received a percel from seller on 9th Jun'09( w/o earmarking of ebay and item code and only address of despatcher i.e seller) in intact condition through speed post. on opening the parcel i found no mobile in the parcel and only a magazine of tataconsultancy, a rudraksha tabiz, a paper board & a paper pack has been received.i intimate the seller immediately and he told that he has forwarded the desired item. i also went to post office but they denied to return it back as it was in opeing condition.on weighing there i found that parcel is also 100gm less in weight as mentioed in speed post details.accordingly i lodged a complaint against post office on 10th jun'09 and also lodged complaint in customer care of ebay india.
                  subsequently ebay member and seller also contact me through phone and email nad as desired i forwarded all the complaints i made and also the photographs & weight od items received throgh parcel but no action has been initiated from any corner till date.i asked seller to give me imei no and serial number and copy of bill of the mobile he sent me but he is unable to give me . since he is a registered seller of ebay and ebay annonces that they sell only those mobiles which have valid imei no & serial number how it will not be available with the seller.means they have no record to sell it to terrorist also.
                  it only indicates that the seller is fraud and he had not sent the mobile to me.till date they have not taken any action neither for reimbursement of my money of rs 2800/ nor the mobile. kindly look into the matter and i will provide all the supportive documents if desired please.

                      I am a new seller on ebay.in. I have started selling products such as books, coins and electronic items. My ebay user ID is ahmedabadelectronics

                      I listed 32 GB Pen Drives on ebay.in but ebay suspended my account and informed to me that I violated the policies of ebay. They sent me an email that my listings were fraudulent. They didn't give me any explanation about what type of mistake I had made. When I tried to contact them through their helpline as well as through email and chat support, they didn't have any proper explanation regarding why my account was suspended. All they replied was "for security reasons". My questions to eBay are:

                      1) I shipped a memory card to a buyer in Chennai. eBay suspended my account after that and refunded him the money. Now I have lost my item as well as money and ebay has no answer for this.

                      2) Selling a pen drive for 50% less price than the market price is called a fraudulent activity? If it is a fraudulent activity, then why does ebay allow a lot of powersellers and other sellers to sell their products below the market price? They also list the product as if it is a genuine one and the buyer often gets a Chinese version of the same. Why does ebay allow few sellers to do all the scams and punish innocent sellers?

                      3) ebay claims that it has products less than the market price. If that is so, then why my listings were removed? Please note that there are a lot of sellers that mention a different photo and give a different item on ebay. I mentioned that the customer will receive the same product as they see. MOREOVER, I OFFERED A FULL REPLACEMENT OF MY PRODUCT IF THE CUSTOMER DIDN'T FIND IT GOOD. What better service can a seller offer? I was offering a full replacement. Yet ebay told me that I was a fraudulent seller??

                      4) There are many sellers on ebay who sell duplicate items. They list a different item and then they sell another. They use jugglery of words to deceive the customers. As they are very big sellers and ebay earns a lot of money from them, they always support such sellers even if they continue to cheat innocent buyers. I received a old ( seocnd hand ) book instead of a new one when I ordered my first purchase on ebay to learn the transactions.

                      5) ebay mentions that the sellers should not mention their email addresses and phone numbers on the description page of their listing. Yet there are a lot of powersellers on ebay who do this and ebay takes no action against such sellers. But if a new seller who is still at a learning stage violates a policy, ebay suspend his account. Why so? Why does ebay allow few leading seller to violate policy and defraud the buyers while it has very strict laws for the new sellers? When I ask a customer service representative this question, she told me that power sellers have gained confidence of the community. Does it mean that after gaining confidence, they can do whatever fraud they want?

                      6) ebay doesn't provide any explanation regarding my mistake. Just say security reasons. I don't understand what could be the security reason in selling old books, coins and memory sticks? This type of statement makes me feel as if I have done a crime in selling books, coins, shoes and memory cards.

                      In short:

                      ebay offers no protection to the new sellers who ship their item to the buyer and their account is suspended.

                      just 3-4days before ebay sent me a msg telling that they have suspended my paisapay account
                      and they also told me that my remittance has been suspended
                      now my hard earned 85, 000 to 90, 000 rs is held there
                      i am writing mails to mails but thers is no reply
                      i am calling there customer care and they have no knowledge
                      according to them the trust and safety team handles these issues
                      i written mails to them also
                      but again no reply

                      all are they saying that i have violated their policy
                      but when i ask which policy and how
                      then there is no reply

                      i need the money urgently but they are not willing to return it

                      i totally agree with u people
                      i got a disillusioned return from ebay

                      i suggesst you people to come on a unique platform with me and we all will take legal action against ebay

                      plzz make a association of seller's cheated by ebay

                        I purchase a item in 12th Feb.09 worth Rs.18000 and use their Valentine Day offer code to get free gift worth Rs.7500 (as per ebay.in offer). But after product delivery ebay blocked my ID ! Without any resone !!! And on my phone call they tell me that I get my gift after 45days of purchase date... Now when I call them on 2nd Apr.09 they tell that I didn't get my GIFT because my account is blocked !!!

                        I send too many email, also send my address and verification documents to their email id for un-blocking of my account but nothing ! NO reply !!! I also call many time to their support team but same...

                        Now I am planning to file a consumer case in my local forum for help...

                        Its my very bad experience with eBay.in...

                        STOP BUYING FROM EBAY - THEY JUST LIKE TO SUPPORT THEIR SELLERS NOT BUYERS...

                          my self shyam sunder kapoor .i hold your citi bank caredit card till 2007. i pay my all payments ragulary but last year 2008 .i got my statement (25/07/2008 to 24/08/2008) in this statement i saw a purchase those not done by me .the purchase reference number is [protected] from EBAY . IN (PAISAP .on this matter i complant to citi bank creadit card department . i send also C/D/F form to citi bank by fax and courier (first fax date is sep 15 2008 and same form by courier date is 15/09/2008)

                          After that nov 11 2008 second time i fax C/D/F Form but there is no result on this matter. I complaint every month to city bank credit card department on this issue but i got no response from your department
                          Know i put this issue in consumer court becaouse time to time your telecaller caller and siniors officers put pressure on me to pay this amount which i never purchase or use. so kindly i request u to solve this problem as soon as possible otherwise i have no altvernative to going in consumer court.

                            I want to know If I can seek legal help against cheating through eBay online sale.

                            I have bought one canon power shot SX100 camera from 1bigbazar for Rs. 12, 499.00 you 0n 10/07/2008. Product sr. no is : [protected]. PaisaPay ID is [protected]. Ebay item number :[protected] from 1bigbazar.

                            My camera has shown serious problem. He has given me defecated piece. It is not at all working. It is under sellers warranty till july 2009.

                            I have contacted the seller, but he has refused to take any responsibility and asking me to go to the Canon service centre. As the seller has not given me the company warranty card the canon service center is refusing to give me the free servicing.

                            What shall I have to do now? I am in great trouble. the seller is not replying to mails in e-bay. I have contacted him remembering him about the warranty card. He replied in a rude manner. I have called him once more after one week. Then he asked me to send the item through courier to him and told me that he will repair it and I will have to pay the amount. I have transferred Rs. 2500/- to his account and then he returned me the same camera without repairing. How I could be sure about his honesty? I am very much worried. I have been cheated by the seller.

No matter. I have asked from ebay and PaisaPay Customer Care to refund my amount.

                              I is suspicious that if PaisaPay has send the payment of Rs.1025.00 then why not it is credited to my account even after laps of sufficient period. The Dy. Manager of PNB Bank has shown me there clearing account (in which funds are credited and debited from outside banks) from 29th Jan2009 to 12th Feb. 2009 for amount, but there is not such amount of Rs.1025.00 is laid in that account.

                              It seems that there intention is not to pay amount and mis-guiding the customer.

                              I have mailed previously and also yesterday to Paisapay in detailed as mentioned above but no reply till this mail time.                               What I suggest is, while purchasing anything from a seller, read about the feedbacks about the seller. I go only for those having more than 99% positive feedback!

                              I had sent below mentioned E-mail on 30th June, which was before delivery deadline date after multiple followup with Ebay and seller.

                              I did not get any response to this on top of that seller has informed me to apply for refund if i am not receiving item in time, i did the same but again the seller has appealed to hold the refund. Is this the way to treat the customer? Is this the way to answer customer calls by both Ebay and Seller?. this is not fair at all.And even i gave a feedback for one of your Ebay representative, i did not get any response on that as well. Nobody will respond properly to the customer. I will not recommend any one to buy on Ebay, until i get a satisfactory result on this issue.

                                Sir,
                                I Procured an Item (Box Packed O2 XDA II Pocket PC + 512 memory card) from EBay India during December 2006. After full payment I received a damaged I-Mate Pocket PC with a charger wich was packed in a Nokia box. I informed and complained EBay for the same.
                                The communication process with EBay's customer care continued for 6 months and I was confirmed to get justice within 7-10 days. Ant till date those 10 days never came.
                                Sir, kindly sugest can you do anything for me? Can I expect justice by any way?

                                  I didn't receive my refund amount Rs.1750/- till today since the refund request was approved by the system on 26 Jan-2009.They r givig some order Id.But this is not useful for me.
                                  I alresdy Contacted HDFC Bank Customer care regarding this one.
                                  Ebay is sending no.of messages to me if there is any due.
                                  This is the worst thing from ebay.Bank is saying that "We r not responsible for refund amount.Ebay is responsible".
                                  I contacted ebay 7 times regarding this one.But they r not giving right answer and didn't solve it.

                                  I have made a purchase for RS 155.since it has not been reflected in eBay they said it has been refunded back .After so many calls till now i didn't get my money back.The eBay customer care people saying i have to contact bank people and ask for them to refund the money back.I have made the purchase through eBay why should i contact bank its there responsibility to check with the bank and refund my money bank.Please help me to solve this issue.

                                    ebay.in has suspended my paisapay account eventhough i had submitted the required documents for thier Know your customer(KYC) documents. I had sent them scanned copies of my passport and driving license issued by the concerned government bodies but they tell me that there are some flaws in those documents and have suspended my paisapay account and are not giving back my 20000/- rupees and are forcing me to submit a ration card as proof of identity which i dont have.
                                    My passport and driving license are valid but they are harrasing me that they are not valid.

                                    I dont know how to get my money. Please help me out...

                                        Dont waste your time complaining to ebay. I had the same problem with ebay and paisapay. It is better to write to your credit card company and ask for a "Chargeback". Tell them you are requesting the chargeback because the item has NOT been delivered to you.
                                        The bank will then take up your case with ebay and if ebay cannot prove that the item has been delivered to you, then your money will be refunded.

                                        you have 90 days (from the date of your transaction) to send a chargeback request to the bank.

I lost 36000 rs as the seller denied to provide warrenty within 6 months of purchase. The LCD is not working at all. When i reached seller, he told me to pay 18000 rs to get the LCD repaired. I made many complaints to eBay . Dropped emails to eBay to resolve the issue. eBay does not reply to emails. When i contacted the eBay customer-care, they said eBay provide support only within 1 month of purchase provide complete evidence provided by the buyer. After 1 month eBay cannot help you at all. They also denied to remove that seller & that product from the eBay site.


                                        I will not recommend anyone to buy from eBay even in dreams.Shame on eBay

                                        Don't waste your hard earned money by buying from eBay.

                                        eBay India is now out from top eCommerce sites... they dont have traffic now, buyer looses trust on eBay, sellers also harassed due to pathetic eBay Policies

                                        at this time they are just finding ways to hold the money with them for maximum time:

                                        1. They Took 3-4+ Weeks to resolve the claim if you are lucky. Till claim is under process they hold Buyer & Seller both payment equally.

                                        2. They credit the remittance to sellers after 14days when buyer confirm the delivery. Plus on the name of account review they just hold all your remittance amount which is in-process for 30days and theres no Gurantee after that. Im a also one of the victim, they holded my remittance amount 405000/- without giving any reason / official email / call and im continuously calling seller care but each time fasle promise and now 30days are crossed but they are still silent. EBAY WEBSITE IS SCAMMER - DONT SELL OR BUY ON EBAY

                                        3. After Refund is processed, it took 2weeks time to get credit

                                        4. C.Care for both buyer and seller is pathetic, they rudely behave to you and you feel like talking with recovery agent, they disconnect call without any fear of seniors who record their calls. every time you connect with new c.c.e and they just give you wrong info with confidence :)

                                        5. they have different departments paisapay team, trust n safety team, selling team, buyer support, powership support but still they are damn slow to resolve the issue. "EBAY is working on old baba adam ke jamane ka format" their loss is increased and profit is decreased just because BUYER and SELLER loosing Trust on eBay.in
