Hi - I enrolled in an online, instructor-led Power BI training course offered by Edureka. After enrollment, I had to request to change my class schedule since I became unavailable during the pre-decided schedule. Eventually, the slots which were provided were not at all fitting with my work and other engagement schedules. Since I couldn't join the class and the course, I asked for a refund of the course fee I paid. At the time of enrollment, I was never told that the course fee is non-refundable, rather in fact I was given assurance that all sorts of flexibilities will be given. As far I remember I never gave any consent to non-refundable service. I would have accepted to enroll for another course using the money if my expected course were available on the platform. But it is not. Therefore, I reached out to their customer care team to request a refund but after trying multiple times, it was denied. I reached out to both Kapil Tyagi and Lovleen Bhatia for their intervention. But no response was received. Since I am not getting a resolution, For this reason, I am raising my issue in this forum to get some help. I paid Rs. 11002.

    I have been made to falsely pay for a course under the promise that it's a free trial but my card has been charged without an OTP with some other kind of transaction.
    I was told it's a free trial for three days and some manager will get In touch with me to explain me everything. A 7 day refund policy was also shared. Now my card has been charged fraudulently. I have been sold the wrong course. I want a full refund and reversal of these charges. I don't want to do any courses with edureka.

    Update on 16/12/2021 : Nobody has gotten in touch with me till now. Trying to reach them through Email, Support Ticketing System on their website, Twitter and through the Manager who made me sign up.

      This company is luring money from youngsters like me . I enrolled for Data science course from Edureka in the month of JUne 2020 which was associated with IIT Guwahati. When i showed an interest their marketing agent called me day and night giving me different sort of schemes and scholarships saying my admission fee will be reduced to certain amount from almost 3.25 to 2.2 lacs . And then when I felt I should opt for it, another agent named Archana ([protected]) called me and asked me to apply for loan to ZEST money where in I will be paying 22k every single month in order to pay for it .Zest Money took all my details like phone number, address, PAN card, House address, Aadhar Card, etc. 3 months past the course I realized that it was not worth. The classes were not being conducted on time and they would cancel the classes whenever they want . So I decided to quit the course. Another drawback of this company is they do not have a customer care support and they ask you to raise a ticket for all sort of concern. So I started writing to them multiple tickets sharing my concern and telling them that i want to cancel my enrollment but I got to know that they don't respond at al. Since this happened in pandemic I literally felt like comiting suicide and I was devastated . Above which I would get repeated calls from Zest Money saying i have to pay the EMI . Even after telling them the situation that I have literally begged EDUREKA people to cancel my admission and they are not responding . Zest money did not show any sort of concern and instead I kept getting calls from different agents of different cities and numerous automated calls which is really disturbing . Its been almost 2 years now for this but still I am getting calls and being threatened that if I don't pay any amount my CIBIL will get affected and when I checked for CIBIL, they have reduced it to almost 576/900 . This is the result of only one loan and I wont be able to take any more loan in future. I feel suffocated and i feel like comiting suicide since all my future plans are dependent on loans ( like taking house ) I regret that I took this course and I also tried tagging the CEO of EDUREKA for the same but looks like he is more interested in ignoring peoples concern and just making money from all of this. I want my admission to be cancelled and my loan amount to be cleared since I have not taken any of their services right from the day I decided to quit their course. Never used any of their benefits or subject matter or even attended any classes. This is my last hope and the only forum where I hope my issue will get resolved . I m just praying and I beg that this issue should be sorted as soon as possible. I don't have much financial background and I really want to fix this issue . I also want my CIBIL to get improved because I work hard day and night to make a sustainable living for myself and my family and would really want to live peacefully. This is utter torture to my mental health and i get depressed . I hope this forum will help me find the solution as soon as possible

        Hi

        I would like to file a complaint against edureka and their unfair processes.I have enrolled into PG Diploma course in AI/ML the sales representative has introduced me the course saying that its a post graduation course by NITW professors. But the reality is it will be taught by some old age people who are making a living on this in their retirement age.

        The quality of the programme is quite low and the basic youtube videos are much better than this so called Diploma programme.

        In the offer letter its mentioned that the programme is non refundable and non transferable. when i had asked them to cancel my enrollment they say its non cancelable. See the thing is iam not asking for any refunds iam just saying that i wont be taking the classes and therefore not paying the respective EMI's. Hope i get a solution or mental relief from this scammers through this platform

          Your employee Viswas Mehta has said blatant lie and defrauded, cheated me, he promised a course staring today, the 3rd October at 8:30pm and made me pay the fees. But up on waiting for the course and multiple calls to your pathetic support people, they have informed me there is no course starting today.               I enrolled for the course "Full Stack Web Development Internship Program" in Edureka Website on 13th August 2021. I was initially contacted by Mr Shiladitya from the admissions team of Edureka. He sounded very friendly and sweet and was very helpful (or so I thought). I paid 1000 as security deposit after attending a demo session conducted by your firm on 11th August 2021. Mr. Shiladitya suggested the seats very less and must pay the security deposit to get the seat as early as possible. I asked so many things regarding the course and had so many doubts at the very beginning itself. And always he was convincing me to pay the full payment and refer the course to my friends too. He skipped many important information like the terms and condition especially the refund policies of Edureka. He was always telling about the limited seats available, and I was unaware about these things. My friend Abhijith also joined as I suggested this course to him. I got a referral reward of 1000 rupees which was deducted from my course fees. I paid 15500 rupees on 13th August 2020 to join the course. I joined 24th batch of Full Stack Web Development Internship Program after the successful payment. I paid a total of 16500 rupees to join the course.
              Mr. Kiran, the one who has taken the demo session on 11th August 2020 has told on the session many tech like react, react native, git, aws etc will be taught on this course. I was excited about the course content that would be covered during the entire course period. They said that the classes are taken on weekend days that's Saturday and Sunday.
              I attended the first class on 15th August 2020, at 3pm. Mr.Neeraj was our instructor. I noticed many things are missing When Mr Neeraj showed us course content during the first class. When I asked about this to Mr.Neeraj, He said that's not included in this course.
              Then I suddenly contacted Mr.Shiladitya and enquired about this. He said that Mr.Neeraj is new instructor and He doesn't know about the course content. But I was little confused with his reply. I checked the LMS when I got the credentials, but surprisingly the Course Content was not visible. Hence, I enquired about this on the telegram group which was created for our batch. Then one of the students has given me the link to access the course content, with that link I got the course content. Then I came to know that this course does not include aws, git, react native etc. Then immediately I contacted Mr.Shiladitya and said about these things and requested for a refund as the course is not as I thought and it’s more over for a beginner in Web Development. That was on 15th August 2020, "2 days" after the of payment of the fees. Then He again convinced me saying that I must attend 2-3 classes to get the refund which will be conducted during weekends. I was unaware of refund policies and terms and condition of Edureka at that time, because he didn't even mention about these things during that time.
              So, as He suggested I waited for another 6 days to attend the classes. After attending those couple of classes on 22nd and 23rd of August, I clearly understood that this course is for extreme beginners and not an intermediate like me. The fun fact is When I asked that whether the "Master" program or "Internship" is better before joining the Internship course. At that time also he convinced me saying that Internship program has more live classes and a lot more things are covered in the internship course. So, After first refund request on the day 2, I again requested for a refund on 9th day of joining. He was very hesitant and again started to convince me, but I strongly asked for a refund, Then He asked me to contact Admin of our Batch’s Telegram group which is Created by Edureka Team.
              I contacted Mr.Azhar and said I want to opt out due to these reasons, But He told me refund is not possible as the days to refund money is exceeded. I got shocked after hearing this.
              Note that Mr Shiladitya hasn’t told anything about the refund policies or to raise ticket in the support form of Edureka on day 3 when I requested or day 9 when I again asked for the refund. Fun fact is he always asked me to pay the fees first, he never said anything related to these stuff.
              Then Mr.Swapnil, Sales Manger of Full Stack Development, has called me after so many requests that raised to Mr.Azhar and Mr.Shiladitya. He told about these polices and said can not refund my money. If I need a refund, I must get a new person instead of me to join the same course. He even offered exclusive courses and other offers. But I refused everything. Because I need a refund and I was not happy with the course content and teaching methods of the instructor. Then he told me that He’ll sort out of my problem after discussing with the management within two days. That was on 7th August. He also failed to mention about complaint ticket in the support form. Now two days are over.Its 9th August, today! He’s not picking up my calls, even Mr.Shiladitya and Mr.Azhar……
              These all conversations have been made through WhatsApp, Telegram and Telephone conversation because Before Joining also they communicated with WhatsApp and Telephone conversations.
              Because of These disaster experience Edureka Team, I contacted their customer care, after I explained everything, they suggested me to raise a ticket. Mr Junaid, whose is a customer experience manager has told me so.
              During these times None of Edureka’s team member other than Mr.Junaid has told about the ticket. If Mr.Shiladiya has told me about this on day 3 of my joining this problem could have resolved earlier. Instead he suggested me attend some more classes. He was clearly known that if I couldn’t raise a complaint through a formal mail or ticket, I won’t get a refund. Now I understood that.
              I request The Edureka Team resolve my problem as soon as possible and give me a refund as I asked for the refund second day itself. I have a request that please ask the students to go through your terms and conditions before joining. Please do what is needful!

                She was supposed to send me my next interview details at 12 Aug 2:00 but she didn't and she called me at 2:38 in my lunch time. When I asked her about the situation she said you are most irresponsible Candidate I have ever saw.the fact is she gave me time and your Hr was not in time and today she refused to call me for further rounds

                    I got a call from edureka who were trapping people by movitating them that there is a course called PG in Big Data by NIT Rourkela and charged 180000 as course fee and later told to do registration by paying registration fee of Rs 1000, and after doing so i recieved a interview call from them so by that they promised to give me some scholarship and then at the end fixed the course fee 1lakh and then i was asked to pay Rs 10000 as advance money and rest as emi from eduvanz company ...Initially i was told faculty from NIT Rourkela will take up our clasess and basic will be covered before coming to Big data ..i tried my best to continue with the course for 4 months but i couldnt learn anything..it was wastage of my hard earned money ..i tried to contant edureka in this regard but no response from then ..then i stopped paying emi ‘s and eduvanz people contacted me ..after narrating the whole story to them they told me to write an email to them so that they can take up matter with edureka and latter after so many attempts i got a call from edureka in which they told me to take some other course then the one for which i was enrolled, i refused to take up as there was no course which was of my interest and promised to call back in 15 days but during these 3months NACH initiated by Eduvanz was getting dishonured and i requested eduvanz and edureka to cancel my emi as edureka had cheated me . Then 25 dayz back i recieved a call from edureka again and told me that if i dont pay emi my CIBIL score will get affected ...but they failed to convince me where i was wrong and how could there be such a hard and fast rule.
                    So please look into the matter and cancel my EMI

                      I had taken admission in the above mentioned course on 09/03/20.i had opted the course on emi basis, out of 9 emi I had paid 3 emi n discountined the course.i had informed the team about the discontinuation but they keep putting ECS for rest of emi...it's like cheating to the candidates..
                      No response from customers support... kindly go through my issues.

                            I would like to start with a message to the public out there to never enroll in any course with Edureka. Many friends gave me a bad review yet I enrolled for the Spring certification training in Edureka. This course was marketed to me with promising results but unfortunately, I had a very bad experience. Sanjeev was the trainer and he will not respond when you get stuck while doing the coding. We have to plead with him to unmute us to even ask a doubt. We will be sending our doubts in the chat, but he will ignore it even though he announces break times between the classes or even moves on to the next topic by harassing the trainers by telling "you have no doubts I am moving to the next topic.! " Seriously Is he blind?? Never seen such a cheap trainer in my life. We are working professionals who have enrolled in the course. We don't have time for your unprofessional attitudes as we have joined this course to learn something by investing our time and money. Is that a joke to you? I had attended his sessions for the second time on Feb 21, as his sessions on Jan 21 left me out of track due to his bad teaching method. I gave this training 2 chances and finally escalated. The support was a disaster!! Shristi from the support team promised me she will share with me class videos from which I can choose my trainer for the next sessions. Firstly, they did not do anything about the number 1 failure trainer called Mr. Sanjeev. Secondly, even after telling the support, I cannot wait until May 21 batch, Shrishti has directly sent me the link to change the batch. I had already told them I don't want to wait till the May batch. Now I can't access previous class recordings also. Why are you torturing like this??? You can't even hire a decent trainer. I raised a complaint against Sanjeev's classes are so useless. I am wasting my 3 hours without understanding anything because he doesn't clarify our doubts and he doesn't even respond to our chats. Please understand that if you are incapable of providing helpful training, then stop eating our money !! I want my money back now !!! Very bad support for the complaint raised !! Please refund my money immediately. I am not interested in your lifelong useless Edureka training!!! I am attaching screenshots of our class chat where you can see we are literally begging him to help us with our doubts and getting ignored by him. Is this a way of teaching???

                              My name is Girijesh Rai.I want to complain about Edureka. I have send complain earlier, I just want to correct a mistake. The program started from January 6, 2020 I had by mistake mentioned Jan 6, 2019. Please correct it.
                              I am again elaborating it if it is required.
                              I got a call from EDUREKA for a PG certificate course in BIG DATA Engineering from NIT ROURKELA. I was told that it's an online weekend course.
                              Program cost was 131500 rupees. I paid 10000 in advance for registration. The rest money was a loan amount provided by Edureka to me from ZEST MONEY. Zest Money is loan partner for EDUREKA. The loan money was transferred to Edureka immediately.
                              The program started in January 6, 2020. The first class was prerequisite JAVA class. On the very first day I found that the lecturer is not from NIT ROURKELA . I took one more class after that I was sure that it's not a NIT Program. I asked my counsellor that I was told that the professors will be from NIT Rourkela. He told me that certificate would be provided by NIT ROURKELA and teaching would be provided by Edureka itself.
                              I told them that before the start of the program I was not informed about this. I was told that it's NIT program from ROURKELA.
                              I asked EDUREKA to cancel my registration and refund the loan amount to Zest money.
                              However they refused to cancel my registration.
                              I didn't attended more than one or two prerequisite classes. After that I told them through email that I cannot continue the program .
                              I forwarded the email to Zest money also.

                              However I kept getting call from ZEST MONEY to pay the emi from the next month itself. There was no option to cancel the program from my end.
                              Edureka is ready to give me new batch even today but they are not cancelling my registration. Zest money is asking for repayment of EMI on loan amount.
                              I am trapped by Edureka. Edureka have received the loan amount from Zest money . They are not ready to cancel the amount and refund to Zest Money. I have not taken the classes, so why I would pay the EMI.
                              But my CIBIL score is getting effected by that.
                              Please help me and penalise EDUREKA for causing me so much mental trouble. I have send many emails to EDUREKA as well as ZEST MONEY.
                              Zest money infact guided me that they understand what is happening. Zest money told me that they cannot ask money from Edureka directly unless they cancel my registration. Edureka will never refund the money. What should I do?

                              I took loan amount of 121500 rupees for PG program in Big Data from Nit Rourkela offered by Edureka . I paid 10000 in advance. Edureka helped me in getting loan from zest money.The loan amount was processed on 7/1/2020.
                              I did few pre - requisite classes of Java where I found that the trainer is not from Nit Rourkela but private person from Edureka.
                              I was shocked.They promised me that the lecturers would be from Nit Rourkela itself.I thought that the course is from Nit Rourkela and Edureka is their online partner.
                              Now I would have never paid such big amount for a course from private institute.
                              I told them to refund my loan amount as I won't attend the program.
                              They kept on sending the link to attend the online class.From next month zest money started asking for Emi payment.
                              Not I found myself cheated in a big way
                              I stopped replying to their emails but what Happened later on was more shocking, my CIBIL score got affected.
                              I got fooled in the name of Nit Rourkela.They are fake online scammer.
                              There was no option to cancel the program from my end, Edureka was required to cancel the program and refund loan amount to Zest money.
                              I don't know whether zest money is also partner in crime with Edureka.
                              I will share image and email to support my case.
                              Why they promised course from Nit Rourkela and charging huge money when no lecturers are from Nit Rourkela.They should have told clearly that they are private online course provider, they fooled me in the name of Nit Rourkela

                                Hi,
                                My name is Girijesh Rai.
                                I was trapped by edureka. I got a call from Edureka for online PG certificate program in big data engineering from NIT Rourkela for January 2019 batch.
                                I was told that course is provided by NIT Rourkela. I paid 10000 in advance and total amount payable was 131500.I was given loan from ZEST Money on behalf of edureka itself. Zest money is loan partner of Edureka.
                                The money was transferred to Edureka account, even before before the course started. The program started from January 6, 2019, the first few were prerequisite class for Java. I found on the first day itself that there is no lecturer from NIT Rourkela. They are hiring outsider to teach but I was told that Nit professors would be taking the classes. Why would I pay huge amount for online class of Edureka.
                                I was told by the counsellor of Edureka that it's a Nit Rourkela program, which is industry based and the teaching will be done by NIT Rourkela professors. They cheated on me.
                                I asked that I cannot continue in this program immediately. I asked them to cancel my registration, I also informed Zest money that I am not taking the program.They told me to ask Edureka to cancel the program first and forward that email to them. Then they will ask for loan refund from Edureka.
                                The problem is that I cannot cancel the program myself, it has to be cancelled by Edureka. Zest money started asking for emi from the next month. It was a weekend class . They were regularly sending me the link to join the class session. After the first two class I didn't attended a single session.
                                I contacted Edureka manytimes through email. They told me that I can take the class in next batch but I have to take the program anyhow. They refused to cancel the loan amount and refund to zest money. Zest money can't do anything. It is asking for repayment of loan for a program that I didn't attended.
                                The edureka staff are pathological liars.They told me that you have to take the program. They are ready to offer me new batch even today but they are not cancelling the loan amount.They told me that my CIBIL score will get affected if I don't pay the Emi to zest money. They are forcing me to take the program. I got fooled in the name of Nit Rourkela.
                                I am not paying any Emi but my CIBIL score is getting affected for no reason.
                                Edureka should refund the loan amount to zest money as I have not attended the program. Please help me . I want cancellation and refund of loan amount from Edureka.

                                Exactly same happened to me... I am also not paying emi, why would i i didn't attend the classes...

                                  During 2019, i have enrolled myself for a course - Post Graduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with NIT Warangal. The course started on 14th March 2020.I’m sorry to inform that it had been pathetic education facility i have ever seen. Issues are
                                  1. Non-proficient Teachers
                                  2. Bad platform
                                  3. No good support
                                  4. Course is AI/ML but they want to check the Assignments/Tests manually since their platform is so bad.
                                  5. Wrong inputs to test and wrong results.

                                  So, in all Total waste of money with precious time. Many times, i raised my voice against the issues, provided poor feedback using which Edureka management shall improvise things, but all waste. Edureka accepted all the issues but no resolution is provided till date.
                                  Since things are the same since the beginning, and due to these issues/problems I have already discontinued the course as it is just a time wastage. I need my whole money REFUNDED back to me.

                                    I wish to inform that the course content and teaching for the Advance Certification in Cloud computing is not as expected. We were told that the faculty for the program are IIT professor (per the pdf downloaded) but it does not seem so. Also the assumption is that everyone is convergent with the Cloud solution.
                                    I am not happy with the overall course and its working, also considering the premium fee we paid for the IIT tag; There are quite a few course in the industry for the same at fraction of cost.
                                    I wish to cancel my admission and would seek refund for proportionate fees as payment is already made.
                                    The support team inform that was not possible, so I raised a ticket to change my batch as I and other 15 members are not able to understand - ridicously I am told that I need to cough up Rs 20000 extra for batch change and this is only possible if its a medical conditions / finanical issues.
                                    This to me clearly looks like a business of making money - in the first place they dont provide the appropriate teaching and on top are asking for money when raising concerns.

                                      I enrolled for the course "PG program in cyber security Nit rourkela +Edureka" I paid Rs 1000 as security deposit and 15000 as down-payment.

                                      I was contacted by Mr Binu Matthew from the admissions team of Edureka. He sounded very friendly and sweet and was very helpful (or so I thought). He assured me that this course from NIT Rourkela is going to add a lot of weightage on my Resume as this course is directly coming from NIT Rourkela.

                                      He skipped many important information like the course was not going to be taught by the NITR professors directly and also failed to mention that this course is a non refundable course and same in later stages no one mentioned about non - Refundable

                                      Later, Mr Raj Kannan from the admission team (head of admissions) contacted me to negotiate the course fee with me. He told that we are providing scholarship of 25000 and as my interview went great so they will give discount of 15000 more and we came to figure which i agreed for enrollment, at this moment also i was not informed that the course is non-refundable.
                                      And he sent me a link for the payment and said i have to make the payment within 2hours or else the scholarship which is offered won't be available after this deadline, so in hurry i paid the down-payment of 15000.

                                      They didn't inform me initially that the installments needed to be paid via third party financial institutions like Propelld or Zest money. I thought that the emi will be deducted directly from my bank account but this wasn't the scenario.

                                      But later on Miss Manali from the finance team of Edureka contacted me regarding the payment. Then she told me that I needed to take an educational loan via their financial partner like propelld or Zest Money.

                                      I wasn't sure what will be the next steps but i was convinced by her that it's intrest free and so i agreed as I was still willing to go ahead with the course as I'm want to learn Cybersecurity

                                      I provided them with all the requested documents of many times, firstly my application got rejected by propelled, then my application was sent to zestMoney where they also rejected my application, it almost took 1 month for this process which was not expected as they had mentioned me it will be done within one week, after 1 month, manali informed me that she managed to get it done, now I was offered with new emi installment where it was divided between propelled and zestMoney.

                                      This was when I decided to opt out of the course. I contacted Miss Manali and Mr Raj Kannan and informed them that I do not want to continue with the course and since the course haven't started yet, I requested him to process my refund but he said that he's from the admission department and processing the refund is not in his hands as its done by the finance team.

                                      I contacted Miss Manali from the finance team but even she pulled her hands and said that though she's from the finance team she cannot do anything and said the course was anyway non refundable.
                                      After that i tried every possible way to connect with their support team but evertime they forwarded me to new number then They asked me to raise a support request via their app. I then raised a ticket via their app on 02 November 2020, and today it's 20th Nov, still there's no response, acknowledgment.
                                      I made the down-payment on Sep 11 2020, and i was told that the classes will be commence from 4th October 2020, now its been 2 months and no classes have started for me.

                                      Therefore, I'm raising here on this platform as there's no response from their side till now
                                      I have attached every document where it's clearly visible that before making the payment, In every mail there is no visibility of NON-REFUNDABLE policy and when the payment was made they mentioned in that mail, leaving me in a state of helpless.

                                      Please help me get my refund of Rs 16000 from Edureka.

                                        It is hereby to inform you about a prolonged issue I am facing for almost 3 months. I am simiran kaur ([protected]@gmail.com)I have opted for a course from EDUREKA and unfortunately I am really very disappointed with the instructors being provided. I am working with a MNC right now and I was working on a project hosted on AWS but then I was moved to an urgent project hosted on GCP due to which I had to swap the course which I already told Nikhil (Salesperson who was in contact with me from the beginning ).Now when i took the session from the instructor shubhu he was teaching about the basics and most of the time he isn't much aware of the topic itself so he rushes to the next ones. Most of the time he used to explain about serverless technologies . I am working with DAGRUNs, its executions, writing DAGs and composers, PUB/SUB etc. But he only reads from slides and doesn't have anything to explain. He wasn't even able to answer my queries within the class. I am not a newbie with AWS and GCP. I want an instructor who can actually dig in a bit to explain how things are working.

                                        Lately I contacted the relationship manager and he suggested to go through the recording of one more instructor but I didn't find him much satisfactory as well.Do we have only 2 instructors per course and the ones who's videos are uploaded to youtube where they are. In this era when people are moving towards udemy and all . If some people actually reach out to edureka this is what we get in return . POOR SERVICE . I reached out to them chasing so many times but i am not getting any refund .I need help from you.
