I subscribed for a Hadoop course in Edureka. I cancelled the course in about 3 days due to personal reason and viewed about 3 pre-recorded videos in that time. I also did not like the way the instructor was teaching in those videos. The first recording is basically a waste of time for 3 hours, It is not hands on. The instructor simply doing some drawings on visio kind of tool and its not very neat, he took two breaks in between The entire session was just annoying. That said, I asked for a refund before the course had started. I got their attention after submitting 3 requests.

A customer rep from Edureka says it is not possible to refund. I didn't even download any content from their portal. The guy says they already paid their instructor. He can simply give credits for my account. This website is just a joke. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

    I purchased a course from edureka and i clear mentioned them that in case i feel dissatisfied of the live classes, i would claim for refund. When i went through some videos it was unnecessaryly long and the discussion was also not proper and had a lot of verbal and vocal errors. When i asked them for refund they told its against the company refund policy. From this i conclude that edureka is not an education platform but is just a business platform which fools students by persuading them with false promises. Even when e commerce platform provide refund to customers in case product does not fit customer requirements why can't edureka provide refund if the course content doesn't meet the requirements of student when it comes to education. I urge the government to take strict action on this company and help me in getting back my refund.

      I have enrolled for devops course. Before starting the course i asked for prerequisites, sales team said clearly and in written saying there are no such prerequisites . once the course started they said you need to be good at linux and shell . by the time refund policy got expired. This course which you will get in edureka is not for beginners and not with realtime, i have wasted my time and money.

      i have spoken with one of the devops developer, when explained him about the VM machines and the other stuff, he was upset about the course. It should be with cloud instance, not with physical VM machines.

      I have raised too many tickets and the time taken to resolve is more than a day. The promise 24/7 is false and unprofessional . they will resolve your ticket after a day or more than a day and will beg you to give AWESOME feedback. still my last ticket is open and no response . I wasted my valuable time.

      Still i have a open ticket #706914, without your confirmation they will close the ticket, without your confirmation.

      I recommend not to join edureka for devops, i am not sure of other courses.

      Joining edureka is waste of time, instead join Classroom trainings outside. will help you with all your expectation, else you will have refund or you can ask for right trainer .always you can have 1-1 demo .

      They will offer you life-time+recorded videos, refund policy bla bla .. read their policy about refund." https://www.edureka.co/terms-and-conditions " point no 14. you will shock.

      Be aware of these online course .

        I had registered with edureka after a commitment that after 3 classes i can decide whether i would opt for refund without any questions asked.. Now they have taken back their statement and are not willing to process the refund.. Their classes were not up to the mark so i opted for refund... Highly unprofessional and unethical firm.. My classes started from saturday i sent a mil on monday and they are unwilling to process my request..

          Edureka, i have two tickets opened, 643573 and 643567, which i have followed up several times from e-mails and phone calls. You have enough info to contact me, so please be honest! Whenever i call, i am given a response that the person who will process my refund is out, or in a meeting, or someone will call me, which is not the case! I have followed up via email but without a reply.

          When initially being lured to signing up a course, customer service is prompt and calls my phone even when i'm just browsing the website. When it comes to treating their customers right and honoring their own refund policy, i am being passed around!

          In their website, edureka claims to to have a "three (3)-day, no-questions-asked money back guarantee on all courses." i registered for salesforce and aws training classes, costing $622. After i attended the online classes, i found that the classes are not of good quality. I promptly contacted them within the 3rd day of registration but i am finding that they are not honoring their own refund policy. This is dishonest and unethical!

          I will update if edureka refunds me. Otherwise, assume they have not!

          Edureka, do not swindle people of their hard earned money as this is complete injustice!

            I feel cheated and highly disappointed with false promises from edureka.
            I had enrolled for blockchain course which was complete waste and not even near to what i have been told by sales team. I had raised the concern with support team and relationship manager and they agreed that the course content was not in line with what was promised to me and said i can join other instructor class which would not make any difference since content itself was not satisfactory.
            Not only me, everyone in batch had horrible experience.
            They had requested me not to tell this to my network as they were confident that their other courses are good, though they didnt refund my money.
            This week, after a month of this incident, i had asked sales team to provide me pmp course at a lesser price which they agreed. I requested them if they come down further or give me flexibility to select any free self paced course and at same time i mentioned about my previous experience. Sales guy said let him check with his manager and he shall come back.
            Next day when i asked what's the update, he said sorry we can't even give course in 8k now since his manager denied.
            What???
            Again edureka cheated and made false promises.
            I am very disappointed with this attitude and shall not recommend anyone to join any course in edureka.
            This was not expected out of such renowned organisation.
            My request - please stop making false promises, we earn money with lot of hard work and time is precious too.

              I subscribed for a microsoft azure course in edureka. I didn't like the way the instructor was teaching. He does not have proper experience in teaching he was just reading the slides. Furthermore the discussion was unnecessarily broad. I hope edureka knows that even the learners have limited time in their hands and would like to learn something quick and that is why they choose online courses like edureka.

              Now i am asking them for a refund and a guy from edureka says it is not possible now to process a refund. I didn't even download any content from their portal. The guy says they have a 3 day refund policy after registering for a course. But my course started after one month from registering. Without attending a class once, how can someone decide if they are not liking the course. Then he was saying that i could have gone through the pre-recorded class to see if i liked the course. They have mentioned that pre-recorded classes and live classes generally tend to differ, then how can someone judge from a prerecorded class.

                I have registered for two courses from edureka, one is self-phase and another one online tutor which, but due to some reason i changed my mind and made it vice versa. But after listening to self-phase classes i am not happy with course content asked to refund my money at that time where my online course is also not started and i do not want to take their course also. When i requested they replied as i have changed the course one and return policy is only 3 days after purchase so they can not return my 450$.

                I believe this is a product where we use right after we brought home test and if not working as promise then return. To go through the course and understand it will take time. Moreover it is an online course where students pay their hard earned money. Please consider my request and refund my money.

                  I enrolled for togaf training with edureka last month. They have uploaded some sample videos on the site. After going through these videos which were impressive i decided to go with edureka. However i realized it was a big mistake after attending their very first virtual class. Before the enrolment sales person mr rishav was always available to answer queries. He assured that i will be have the same trainer as that of recorded session or even better. However when actual session started it was the worst training experience i have ever had. The trainer was simply reading through the content. Edureka is not responding to my queries. Sales person no longer pick my phone. Please beware of this fraud company.

                    Dear sir/madam,

                    I would like to bring my worst experience with edureka to your notice for action.

                    I was offered to enroll for a course with 25% discount as independence day offer and the team was pushing me to enroll first and i was told that i can attend the course at any time later as per my convenient dates. After paying the amount when i checked 'my course' details i got to know that my course is not going to start in next 3 months as i preferred to attend weekend batch due to my work hours. When i checked with sales person, he requested me to wait until the course starts, which did not seem to be promising therefore, i've requested for the refund. For which they came up with policy saying that i should request for refund with in 3 days of enrollment and within 10% of course completion. Although my course was never started, as it passed the 3 days of enrollment, as an option, they offered me to use this credit for other courses. Then i enquired for big data master program, for which one of the sales person said that there is no discount for masters data program for anyone who is going to register. Whereas one of the other sales person offered 10% discount and 20% cashback. When this conversation is mentioned to the previous sales person, he said that the other sales guy is new and not aware of the things.

                    However, i have got to know that they are offering discount and cash back for all enrolments, for which i have the mail proof of quote they provided for other student. So, i called them again to enquire why i'm alone is not eligible for the discount. They kept on giving me false and misleading statements, finally manager intervened and agreed to give me the 10% discount and 20% cash back. Then he again changed his statement saying system allows max cash back of $100. But not to disoppoint we will offer $125 cash back and a self paced course from the list of 45 courses. I was happy with it and asked them to send the link to pay for the enrollment and i was expecting the link form them to proceed further, meanwhile the sales person and manager called again saying that we will not offer whatever we said earlier and have to pay the full amount if i have to proceed and the previous course also will not be refunded. Conversations had gone through entire day. This whole conversation had taken whole day wasting my work hours and personal time at home without proper resolution due to their false promises every time.

                    Now, i would like to request my full refund if the new course is not offered for agreed 10% discount and 20% cash back which they are providing for other students.

                    Thank you for your time and will be looking forward for resolution.

                      I was interested in sharepoint 2016 to learn sth. While browsing i found the course content of edureka as a good one, so i chose it, and i was told that i will be provided with vm /a m/c to do the hands on after registration.
                      One person from sales team contacted me every now and then and finally i registered. After registation i found that no vm/machines are there for hands on. Only they are trying to use 1 credential of office 365 for csom and nothing is there for scom. I contacted to the same sales guy who just told me to contact to the support team, who just told me that they were able to install in 4gb ram, i don't know how, and they told me that if you are unable to do hans-on we will refund the money. But after 1 class they did not respond about the refund and they told me that one more course will be offered after the end of sp training as per my wish. After the training i got busy in the projects, but now while i tried to contact them they are not at all responding about the additional course.
                      So just recommend everyone not to go for edureka sharepoint.
                      Its basically theoretical no practical. There will be no hands on if you don't have 8gb ram m/c.
                      The sales people are only for money making they will not even respond after your registration gets over.
                      Support people will just provide one installation manual which you can also download from internet (How to install sharepoint)

                      And at the end they will neither refund the money nor will they deliver anything as per the promise. They are only money making perople who can make promise of refund

                        I was on a lookout for data analytics with r training, conducted by the experts. I heard about edureka, and called them up for registration. After having discussion with the staffs, i joined their session. I made the payment online. But after two weeks, i started realizing the sessions were very slow and few of the candidates taking the sessions are just neophytes in the it world.

                        The classes were held as if they were for beginners, and not for intermediates, or who knows stuffs about data science or analytics. Still, i continued for few more days to see whether i should opt for cancellation or not. But, trust me, edureka’s trainers are not at all professional, and their course module is simply not up to the mark. With a very basic syllabus and untrained faculty, they are out to cheat students.

                        Hence, i sent them a cancellation email to please give me the refund. But, i was surprised to find they asked me to opt for any other course, but none of the courses suited my need. So, i again contacted them over phone and they said they will give me a credit note, instead of refund, which was simply so unfair. I am yet to get the refund, and i am highly dissatisfied with their services. Beware guys, edureka is definitely not a good option to consider.

                          Hi team,
                          Its my experience and my view. They will call you anywhere for enrolling you in hadoop class and i thought customer support is good after joining the class, this is my story

                          1) people from java /other open source will be good to attend the course.
                          But they never said that at the time of joining
                          2) i have raised a ticket on the third day and it was answerd they cant help after i completed training
                          3) for exp - professionals i would recommend get trained in java and work in java for atleast 1 -2 years before get in to hadoop, people from other than java - you have to work hard otherwise please choose different platform with new technology like angualr. Java script etc.. Hadoop is ocean and you cant understand on advanced spark and its terminology trust me.
                          4) trainer will always says his achivements and he forgets target audience involves exp professionals have 10 +, 15 + exp guys in it industry didnt do any
                          5) trainer will give copy and paste code and execute basic level programming where it cant even think as realtime user cases.
                          6) trainer dont have any real time expertise and he fools freshers.

                          My advise please get in to java because most api works in hadoop are from java not from python.

                            I am making complaint to indian consumer complaints on a transaction which was made on the 15th july 2017 to edureka for a training course.
                            The agreement was that my analysis using r software will be run on five (5) data set using (Logistics regression, linear discriminate analysis, cart and mice for missing data) after stating what i want to achieve in the analysis and my deadline was for 28th july 2015.

                            I was promised that a tutor will be attached to me online for both o[censored]s to perform the analysis but it was never done.                               As they dont offer any demo classes, before enrolling i was told that i can hear one class and cancel it if i dont like the teaching. I attended the first class and the instructor was horrible.
                              I contacted customer care and they said that i can change batch.

                              I replied back saying the same that i dont have that much time to wait till the next batch starts. And then they never responded.
                              Edureka customer care sucks and even the instructors.

                                I will try to explain the situation here.

                                28/APR/2017 I made the payment online and got myself Enrolled for the DevOps class starting on the 29th. Attached a screen-shot of the payment details.

                                29/APR/2017 I attained the first class, it was intro to DevOps, Module 1.
                                30/APR/2017, Module 2, teacher had covered the basics of GIT. Teacher had shared the notepad files regarding how to install and use GIT (that was all I downloaded, as I was aware of their cancellation policy).

                                I was told that the training will help me master the subject, as I already have work experience in GIT and Jenkins, I found that the class was designed for beginners, not for intermediates.

                                01/MAY/2017 I took time, watched the recording video of the same class they recorded and uploaded and one or two more videos from other classes to understand whether I should go for cancellation. My usage of these videos should no way be considered I abused my access to their videos.

                                Wanted to share that in their uploaded demo video, instructor is somebody else.

                                02/MAY/2017 I decided and sent an email to cancel the my booking and get a refund. I had given an option for any course. Later I did not find any other relevant course that can help me pursuing my goal, so asked for a refund.

                                They simply Rejected saying I crossed their policy. Attached the screen-shot of their policy.
                                08/MAY/2017 I emailed them again telling I did not not attain any other classes since. I am clueless about your actions and decisions.
                                After back and forth talk over phone they decided to give me credit note so that I can Enrol to any other course, though I was sure I won't get one relevant.
                                11/MAY/2017 they agreed to give Credit Note instead of refund

                                15/MAY/2017 I decided to get the details regarding the instructor for their Docker training (I have attached the pics of the conversation) they have listed in their website for Enrolment.

                                They said they have no video available as they have not decided the instructor yet; strange thing is Enrolment has already been started with their strict 3 Days from Enrolment cancellation/refund policy. They are simply ignoring the fact that the Trainee/Student has all the right to Like/Dislike the way an Instructor instructs. It's an online training course where the Voice quality / communication skill is one of the vital requirements that creates the interest among students apart from the knowledge of instructor, which is an obvious fact that no one is denying or questioning.

                                I am a happy customer of Pluralsight and Udacity, never experienced such nonsenses.

                                Today it is 16/MAY/2017 I did not attain any other classes or watched any of their videos. My hard earned money is still blocked with Edureka! I am still clueless.

                                I am not at all interested to do any business with Edureka! it's as simple as it sounds and Edureka is not letting me go away with my money just because I asked for cancellation on 5th Day instead if 3rd Day (delayed by 1 day to decide, think twice as the Demo video and their promises left some good impressions on me before I decided to Enrol).

                                  Joined the session for Data Analytics with R. First two weeks was good and the instructor provided good overview of R. The sessions were very slow and I assume partly because of the diversity of the people in the class (some are very beginners to the IT world).

                                  The problem started from 3rd week. They changed the instructor after 4 sessions. Old instructor had some personal commitments so we all agreed to postpone the class by one extra week. Suddenly Edureka took an executive decision to continue the class with a totally different person with different background.

                                  I don't think Edureka provides any value addition for the fees that they charge. Their fees is very high compared to other places but it is okay as long as they make the training valuable. Unfortunately that is not the case.

                                  I will be filing a dispute with Paypal as well as my credit card company.

                                    I subscribed for a DataScience course in Edureka. But due to personal reasons, which I had to explain them in detail, I will not be able to continue with the classes. And I also didn't like the way the instructor was teaching. It seemed he just woke up from bed and started the session. Furthermore the discussion was unnecessarily broad. He wasted about 20 minutes talking about topics that were not in the course contents. I hope edureka knows that even the learners have limited time in their hands and would like to learn something quick and that is why they choose online courses like Edureka.

                                    Now I am asking them for a refund and a guy from Edureka says it is not possible now to process a refund. I didn't even download any content from their portal. The guy says they have a 7 day refund policy after registering for a course. But my course started after one month from registering. Without attending a class once, how can someone decide if they are not liking the course. Then he was saying that I could have gone through the pre-recorded class to see if I liked the course. They have mentioned that pre-recorded classes and live classes generally tend to differ, then how can someone judge from a prerecorded class.

                                      Edureka is an indian e-learning platform which I have used. I spent some $1000, signing up for three courses on Big Data & Hadoop, Python, and R.

                                      Below are some of my thoughts:
                                      1. It feels as if the instructors woke up in the morning, got a cup of coffee, and sat in front of their computers to teach. What exactly are they teaching...? Slides, power point slides. They read off of it, like it's a Dr. Seuss's book. They do some examples, but they are right on the slides... a simple copying of the code into the terminal. They go over the code by way of reading it... as though that is enough... how educational!

                                      2. The cost: Given the various platforms for e-learning. I would say the live instructors that I have come across, two very nice individuals, and one sarcastic to the point of condescending, seem to be working professionals trying this out. They want feedback, but they often don't create an environment for honest feedback. They seem to say, "don't ruin my evaluation... if you have something to say, say it to me... and your venting should be enough for you." In short, I won't change, but you can change your attitude about me. As though what they are doing is a service to humanity, and just their presence is enlightenment for us. How illuminating!

                                      3. Sales tactics: At first I signed up for one course: Big Data and Hadoop. Before even the first class began, I received a number of phone calls and emails, asking me to join for other classes, and they will give me an extraordinary 27% discount, highest they can go... and they would have to talk with their sales manager before it's possible. What rubbish! As a fool, I signed up... three classes... with the idea that I can choose "sessions" at a later time. One after the other, the courses began but very quickly it dawned on me how poorly the whole experience is. Refund... what refund!

                                      4. Do-over? If I had to choose Edureka! again, I believe I would stay clear of it. I am now using Udemy and am happy with lectures and quizzes that are quite professional and at 3% of the cost of Edureka. Wonderful!

                                        Waste of attending the classes no knowledge and nothing i have gained, it seems edureka will select the faculty based on the English speaking skills not on the subject knowledge, no explanation nothing wasted 24, 000/- simply better don't opt this course in edureka i don't know about the other courses.They will call 1000 times up to the enrollment but if we are giving feed back about the faculty they won't mind oh waste of time.
