Ekart — Cancellation of order without any attempt of delivery

I have placed an order from Flipkart which was supposed to be delivered on 01.10.2022.i did receive a call from delivery executive on 01.10.2022. He asked me the OTP but I was not available at my residence for the acceptance of the shipment. And since it was an open box delivered I asked him to come tomorrow for the delivery. Now it's been 2 days but I didn't receive any call from the ekart. But when I called the customer care they told me that my order has been sent to cancellation. As far as I know it takes 3 failed delivery to cancel the order. But I didn't recipe any call since 01.10.2022. But when I tracked my shipment online it shows 2 failed delivery attempts. And this is not the first time. The same thing has happened before. My shipment has been cancelled without any intimation from the delivery executive.
