I want to update the coorrect spelling on my Voter ID card as it contains wrong spells for my name. It shows my name as Bhavana

but the correct spells are Bhawna Sharma..

Pls get this corrected Asap as i m getting so much issues with this.

Me ( Praveen Srivastava), my wife (Namita Verma), my brother (Prashant Srivastava) and his wife (Shailin Srivastava) have submitted our applications for voter ID Cards, we are a resident of H.No.233, Pocket -H, Sector Beta-II, Greater Noida (U P). we have submitted all related and supporting documents which were required to submit.

It is now almost more than six month since we have submitted our applications but nothing has been processed and we have not recd. any thing from the related deprtments.

We don't know writing on these collumn will do anything or just a vent.

I have received my voter identity card viz voter id LLH2353092 (West Bengal) on which a photo of another person was found attached.

Complaints were lodged for correction of the photo on the voter id card viz receipt number 180/1 dated 14 Nov 2008 and another complaint 39/8 dated 15/12/2008 but still the same error is being repeated again and again.

Hence requested earliest actions.

On 06 June 2008(Friday), I contacted our local election office for voter Identity card. I was told the by some of the staff that we are open on Saturday and even on Sundays from 9.30am to 7.00pm.

On Jun. 8, 08(Sunday) I reached the local office for the same with my wife and my daughter, at 10 am but was surprised to know that only peon Mr. Munna lal was present. On asking him about the remaining staff he told Mr. Suresh Yadav will be there after 11 am, but he was sure that he will definitely come as elections are coming.

After waiting for an hour, I asked him about the mobile number of the concerned officer, he told that he does not have the same.

After some tine another gentleman from some other office came, I requested him for the same (mobile number of Mr. Suresh Yadav) he also refused to give it, but he contacted Mr. Suresh Yadav, by his cell phone, and told him that some body was waiting for him and he allowed me to talk by his cell phone. Mr. Yadav told me that today is Sunday and he is enjoying it, he will not come to the office today, I should come in working day’s I told him that some body from your office has told me that offices are open on Sundays which make no impact on him.

with all the respect i want to say that iam a resident of delhi and more precisely C.R.P.F CAMP JHARODA KALAN 110072.Sir my problem is that i want to make my voter i card and i have successfully filled out the form 6 online and in status it is showing that APPLICATION IS VERIFIED ON 1/30/2008 AND WAITING FOR ERO'S DECISION, after waiting for almost 3 months i called at your office regarding the same problem and somebody said that someone will visit your house but its the TRAUMA of the C.R.P.F employees that no one has ever visited this campus.It seems they have completely ignored their duties and also the c.r.p.f peoples Iam not writing this because of mine problem but iam representing the problem of 2000 familes. So if you have some time for these peoples of free democratic india please look into the matter.

I have given photographs at least 3 times in the last few months and I have still not received the voters ID card!! The last time representatives of from your office came to the house and collected photos for the third time in January 2009. and i lodged a complaint saying that i dint get my voter card n they said i ill recieve my id card on jan 12th 2009 which never happened . Myself & my family wife applied for EPIC on 11.08.08 at your located place in Jadavpur LS Constituency wherein we were intimated that card will be issued & delivered to our Residential address with in 45 days.

Early in the month of Feb'09, we came to know that our names has not been reflected in the Newly publised Voter List & got the intimation that we will have to submit all details again for appling for the same at the Local Borough Office(here it is Br.XII). Accordingly, we submitted the same documents their on 07.03.09 by filli up the Form No: 6 (Rule13(1) & 26). Again we were assured that your name will be reflected & after one month you will come to know & Cardswill issued accordingly.
We cannot understand, what is going on? Why its are not being circulated properly so that we gereral people can get the same smoothly.

This is sarma a reisdent of hyderabad.i got the voter id card but the details were printed wrong and i took the same thing and went to our local eseva center for the correctin and they said that was not their duty and then i tried to intimate the same thing through online in ur site, and in the mean while a postman frmo ecil post office has come to my home and asked me about the voter card details and given me a form to fill it with my correct details and he told that it will be processed.and all this happened before 6 months and i dont get any responce from any body and where ever i go for the correction of this voter card they used to say the same word"voter correction not here".if this is the case where can i correct the details in my card.
