I have purchased Electrolux ER 240 DEO FRESH LUX Freeze on 15/5/2009. Since purchase the freeze is not working properly During the warranty period till to date I have been complaining to the Service centre about the non functioning of the Freeze. I alsol submitted a written complaint to Videocon Internation Ltd. Rajkot. on 21.11.2009, however no reply or acknowlegement received. Recently the freeze stopped working totally and the company provided a New compressor and charged for fillling theGAS and change of Pipeline.
However, again the freeze is not working properly and new problems are emerging.

MAJOR PROBLEMS : Water accumulation and overflowing in the Rear tray of the Freeze, which should be absorbed and not be overflowed.
Freeze get heated abornmally and even the surrounding furniture cupboards and contents gets heated.

Electrolux — Freeze not working properly.

Dear Sir,
I have purchased a double door freeze for 230lt. on[protected] from Shakti Appliancces, Ahmedabad, Sr.No.[protected].After sometimes, a cooling problem was started. For this I have lodged complain and freeze was repaired for this I have paid Rs.1520/-, as it was found gas pipeline was chock up. After some time the problem again arrised and complain. has been made vide complain No. 7P[protected], and freeze has been taken to work shop and repair and again got repaired and an amount has been made for Rs.1650/- with the said complain found i.e. pipeline was chock-up after some times again the same problem arised and complain has been booked vide complain No. 7P[protected] and freeze has been taken to workshop on 14-10-08.After purchasing a freeze I have already spent an amount of Rs 3500/-but the problem has not solved. I have already made a complain on 16-10-08 to your customer service but I have not received any reply.

I hereby request you to pl. arrange to solve the problem immediately, if is not possible,
Kindly change the freeze and delivered to me. The fresh complain No. 7P01108003.After this complain nobody can solve the problem.I make a complain by mail also but not getting any reply. What can we do ? Pl. do needfully.

    WHICH I HAVED SEND FOR REPAI TO AUTHORISIED SERVICE MAN FROM COMPANY FOR WHICH I COMPLAINED THAT THERE WAS LOW COOLING IN THE DOWN SELF COMPARTMENT , THE FREZEER PORTION WAS WORKING PROPERLY, BUT WHEN WE SEND THE UNIT TO HIS OFFICE OR WORKSHOP FOR REPAIR , HENCE FURTHER WE WERE NOT SATISFIED AS OUR FREEZE WAS NOT NOT WORKING AT THE DOWN COMPARTMENT , AND THE TOP FREEZER PART WAS NO LONGER THE FREEZER BUT WORKING AS FREEZE AS ON THIS DATE , WE HAVE DAMAGED LOT OF HOUSEOLD ITEMS LIKE MILK , VEGITABLES , SWEETS ETC.

    WE HAVE PAID A SUM AMOUNT OF Rs 1500/= FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF PART NAMED TIMMER .

      I purchsed a 245Ltr-Double Door refrigerator of 'Electrolux' Brand from M/s Khosla Electronics Pvt Ltd.110, Raja S.C.Mullick Road, Garia, Kolkata-700 047 on[protected] invoice no.2488 dated[protected]. The machine stopped functioning(Cooling) on[protected]. A complaint was lodged on the helpline no provided by EKL Appliances Ltd.. The machine was inspected by Mr Somenath Bhandari, a representative from authorised service centre, M/s Varsha Refrigeration, 460H, Raja Rammohanon Roy Road, Behala, Kolkata-700 008 on[protected] on payment of inspection charges of Rs.330/- and declared that the 'Timer' & 'Bimetal' had gone out of order & needs replacement. This was done at my home on that day itself on a further expense of Rs. 1680/-(Bill No.1272 dtd[protected].The machine worked for only two months till[protected]. The cooling stopped and again the same Varsha Refrigeration was contacted. The same gentleman Mr.Bhandari came for inspection and I was made to pay Inspection charges of Rs.330/- once again to tell me that 'Evaporator coil' embeded on the side walls have leaked this time. M/s Varsha Refrigeration lifted the machine on[protected]. The machine was delivered back on[protected] after fitting an external evaporator coil on the backside of the machine.and the machine started working. The repair bill this time was Rs.3150/-. But the machine worked just for two days and again stopped. M/s Varsha Refrigeration was again reported. This time another gentleman came, inspected and declared that the compressor has gone out of order this time. I asked M/s Varsha Refrigeration to take back the machine and replace the failed compressor as it is still under guarntee. M/s Varsha Refrigeration this time said that they are no longer authorised service centre as the franchisee has been terminated. I am in a deep sea of trouble as I am a diabetic patient living on insulin injection and the insulin needs storage in a refrigerator. I agin contacted helpline who this time directed me to M/s S.A.M. Appliances Service, 83, Linton Street, Kolkata - 700 014. This service organisation lifted the fridge on[protected] and done the job of cmpressor replacement(?) and charged Rs. 1471/- vide their bill no.3187 dtd.[protected]. The machine has started working from today[protected]. God only kmows how long the machine will run !

      The above is a statement of facts and the story of harrowing experience I have undergone by purchasing a welknown brand of refrigerator. I wanted the earlier service franchisee M/s Varsha Refrigeration to refund me the money they have taken posing as authorised service representative of (Electrlux).M/s EKL Appliances Ltd. Total Bill I paid to M/s Varsha Refrigeration is Rs.5490/- which I claim to be rightfully refunded to me. I request the 'Electrolux Company to excercise its power to make m/s Varsha Refrigeration pay me back the money I paid to them to get the refrigerator in OK condition(which they failed).

        My kelvinator electrolux refrigerator is 8 yrs old.I contacted tollfree number for services to cure cooling problem.They charged nearly 4000 Rs. After 3 months again the same problem appeared.They again serviced and now the same cooling Problem is not cured.Whaat can I do ? Will they return my spent money of Rs 5000/-?

          I had Purchased a 220 ltr electrolux kelvinator on 31/12/2000 vide challan No. 2945 from. It is not getting coolling effect in entire fridge !! The shop which I purchased the fridge is Santosh Trading Company ( Sales India ), B. Jadav Chambers, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad 380 009 (phone:[protected]/15/196/17/18/19. I am not geting the response from dealer. Please do me favor to ask Electrolux/Kelvinator freidge to send company mechanic to my place & get me my firdge repair as early as possible.             Dear Sir,
            1. I am a retired senior citizen aged 80 yrs. I purchased the above mentioned Refrigerator with my savings on 12 Jan 2007 from Sales Emporium (ULG), 85-D Ultadanga Main Road, Kolkata-700067 (Credit Memo No. CR/01197/1/2006-07).
            2. The Refrigerator became unserviceable in April 2010. The Auth Servicing Centre - 'Mondal Refrigerator Co., 87/10, AK Mukherjee Road, Kolkata-700090' took almost a month to repair the refrigerator and charged for repairing the product and replacing a few unserviceable items.
            3. The refrigerator became unserviceable again after 3 days. This time the same servicing centre claimed that the compressor had failed (which was under warranty) and replaced it. It worked for 3-4 days before becoming unserviceable again.
            4. The Sevice Centre then tried connecting an extra condenser to bypass the sealed one but the gas leaked out after 3-4 days.
            5. After this, the above mentioned Authorised Service Centre of Electrolux Refrigerators at Kolkata expressed his inability to repair the refrigerator.
            5. I am now struck with this unserviceable product having spent so much money, effort, time, energy and mental peace to get it repaired by the Electrolux Auth. Sevice Centre.

              Bought 2 door refrigerator 3.5 years back. I have had tons of problems in the last 1 year. Have been calling the authorized dealer (complaints to electrolux call center go to dealer called vcare in mangalore). Water keeps leaking and cooling in the lower compartment is very weak. Finally after spending over 4000 Rs in multiple complaints in the last year, the refrigerator stopped working (lower compartment). The dealer told that the refrigerator needs to be taken to workshop. After over 8 days, I got back my refrigerator and they charged me 3350 Rs. They told me that they replaced some parts and filled up the coolant gas etc. Now, in 3 days, refrigerator is not working - both compartments. I have made a complaint to the vcare folks. Called their technician, their office. I demanded to get their manager number and those people gave me wrong numbers. They lie, do not want to attend my refrigerator. Please advice, how do I take this to consumer court. Not sure, what will I do now :(.

              Also, folks, please avoid buying this brand products. Also, please avoid using services from vcare. They are looters!

                You buy the best, without expecting expecting the worst. Electrolux is such a nice brand worldwide, but when it comes to India their service is really pathetic. Its probably because of the Videocon behind - that's what all the stores say, now that I finished buying it.

                I brought this machine, and when I get even a minute problem it took nothing less than 3months (that's at the min, don't ask me max) to get it rectified. Repeated begging with their service center has no value, as the reason they'd give is quite simple, "sir the parts aren't in stock, or they need to be imported", and all that . Right now with the current problem, which I don't know what's the cause - it doesn't even start, and when the guy comes to diagnose after the min period ofcourse they aren't even able to fix it for more than 8-9months.

                DON'T EVER BUY ELECTROLUX, IF IN INDIA. Still respect the brand when I go abroad, as this Swedish company is highly respectable one. Its only Videocon who screwed it up.

I HAVE A ELECTROLUX WASHING MACHINE AND THE DRYER OF THE SAME WAS NOT WORKING SO I MADE A COMPLAINT WITH THIS COMPANY FIRSTLY THE TECHNICIAN CAME AFTER SEVERAL FOLLOW UP CHARGED MY A HUGE AMT AND REPAIRED THE DRYER SOON AFTER 15 DAYS THE DRYER STOPPED WORKING AGAIN AFTER SEVERAL REMINDERS THE TECHNICIAN CAME AGAIN BUT DEMANDED MONEY AGAIN,HE AGAIN REPAIRED THE DRYER AND WENT OFF BUT TO MY UTTER SURPRISE IT STOPPED WORKING THE VERY NEXT DAY AND SINCE THEN NOBODY IS READY TO LISTEN TO OUR COMPLAINT. PLEASE ADVISE US WHERE TO GO AND LODGE SERIOUS COMPLAINT AGAINST THIS WORST COMPANY. MOREOVER I WANT TO MAKE EVERY ONE AWARE NEVER TO USE THIS COMPANY'S SERVICE

                  Electrolux Washing Machine — dryer not working

                  I have made complaint in electrolux call centre on 2 of august 2008, my complaint no. is 5A[protected]. Today its almost one month and my complaint has not not yet been resolved.I have made 100 od calls regarding this complaint, from call centre they have given me the contact no. of harsh appliances delhi and told me to talk over there.Its only one and a half year only to my washing machine.they gurantee best after sales services but i thint its the worst. kaindly do revert on urgent basis.

                  Washing Machine — dryer not functioning

                  It has been four days since I registered my complaint, of the dryer of my IFB washing machine is not working. There has been no responce from your side, in spite of the complaint been registered. This is the fourth time that one or the other application of the machine has mal-functioned, in a span of four monthes. The machine is under extended warranty, I am fed up, can you replace the piece? I reside in Delhi Cantt.

                  it is really surprise to see your product at very suspicious eye.if i buy your product how is the after sales service.i had full faith on your products but now due to lack of service/delay in service have to loose faith . i lodged an complaint on 11/11/09 against complaint no.[protected],the service engineer came on the next day and after inspecting the machine,he told us that its motor will be changed.you have to pay for seal and wire & it will take 3/4 days to arrange the parts.after 7/8 days he came and told us that it's base is broken(when the machine was fixed at one place-not movable location),again he wants 3/4 days to arrange.but till today it is not repaired.distributors should have all the stock ready or arrange in maximum 2 days.kindly improve the service of your service center,and pay immediate action on my complaint as it is already too late.reply awaited

                    I was purchase a Electrolux Microwave Owen [Bill No. 02939, Serial No[protected], Model No. ] from "NEXT RETAIL INDIA LTD" R MALL, MULUND [WEST], MUMBAI - 400080 on 20.06.2010, but at that time product was defected and the Owen door was broken. I was complaining so many times to "NEXT" and "Electolux" [Comp. No. UM[protected]] but I didn’t receive any satisfied reply for the same, every time they said we don’t have new door so we can’t help you for the same. It was very bad experience and I feel like the shop and company cheated to me. I would like to request you kindly look in to the matter and reply accordingly as soon as possible.

                      i bought a electrolux microwave oven during Oct, 2005 from Giriyas, Gandhibazar, Bangalore. Its been 3 years now and i have not utilezed the oven even once. The first time i wanted to use the machine it didnt work so i called Girias who gave informed me that its not their job and they gave me the service centre number. i Contacted them and they sent a person who told me that the panel has to be changed and since it is not being manufatured here they need to get it from abroad. Thats the last i heard from him. I am still waiting for the panel to reach me. Soon i will be out of the warranty period also and they will have a good and proper excuse not to give proper service. What should i do?
                      I have bought a Microwave Oven of Electrolux (Model : ELE 2586/ELECTROLUX 25EC86SL 25 Ltr Convection MO) from Great Eastern, Manicktala, Kankurgachi, Kolkata - 700054. I have faced some technical problem on July which was solved on 21-Jul-2009 with a cost of Rs 1175 by Paul and Company. Once again I have faced the same problem from December 2010 and now it is now in workable situation. I have lodged a complain on 08-Jan-2010 (complain no - KL[protected]. On the same day one service visited to my house and checked the problem and said that he will come back on the next day. But from then the problem is not solved. I contacted many times to the customer care but the problem is not solved. On Saturday (16-Jan-2010), I have also contacted to the service center and also service in charge but the problem is not solved yet. They never informed us the actual issue which they were facing and the cause of the service failure.

                      Please let us know the next course of action so that the problem is solved.
                      I have an electrolux refrigerator bought in august 2009. The fridge is in full warranty as you can see. It stopped working on the 20th of May 2010. On calling the call center at[protected] I was given a complaint number [protected] with the assurance that someone will attend to my fridge in 24 hours. This seems to be the longest 24 hours in their life and my patience is wearing out. They just do not care.

                      I guess the selling or the service does not matter to them. They have just gotten too complacent. If something is not done by tomorrow then I plan to go to the press about them and the dealer who sold me the fridge as well.

                      I want to inform that I purchased 26 ltr Electrolux Microwave dated on 6th jan 2015; worth Rs 7490/-. On 14th jan 2015, my microwave stopped working due to some fault. I filed complain to Electolux service center. But no action was taken from customer care service of Electrolux. I complained again on 16th jan, 2015 in morning and again complained in evening. But till 12:15 pm, on 17th jan 2015.

                        There is recurring problem of cooling in the refrigiration. After many complaints and follow up the service personnal from the servcice centre and repaired the refrigerator. But again it gone bad and service centre takes 4-5 days to analyse the problem and then searches for the component to be replace and then testing is done for the proper operation of fridge. For all these I have to take the fridge to the centre which is 10 kms away and all costs should be borne by me. What is this customer care. Elctrolux may be aggressively marketing their product but their service to customer is very poor. Still I am suffering from faulty fridge in this peak summer. i have paid Rs. 5000 for repairing ten times

                        Electrolux Refrigerator — No cooling even after repair

                        Dear Sir / Madam,

                        We had given a complaint at Electrolux Company's authorized service centre - Cooling Sales. A technician came home on 3/03/2008 and charged Rs.400 as service charge and gave an estimate of Rs.4950 for changing gas, damper and service fridge for temporary replacement. Our fridge was taken next day. A small service fridge was sent for Rs.300 which was also in bad condition. We managed for a week and then we got our fridge back. They claimed that it was properly tested. We wanted to check immediately but we were asked to switch it on after half an hour to allow the gas to settle. The personnel would obviously disappear with the huge bill amount well before we figure out that our fridge is not repaired, in fact worse than before. It had started making too much noise and the cooling was hardly there. We complained again just to know that they need two working days to act on the complaint again, even if it means the food in the fridge gets spoilt. Luckily after much bickering, a technician came the same day, adjusted the wire, stopped the noise and got us to sign the papers without waiting to see if the cooling improved. The condition is bad as ever - No cooling. All we get is a new complaint number and new contact numbers of people who never respond. Our complaint numbers were CSER 8C13001 and CSER 8C14020. We are still waiting for proper response.
                        This is service at its worse, without sensitivity or any sense of responsibility. Will someone help me to get to a higher authority that cares for the brand image if not the real consumer?

                        I purchased Electrolux Refrigerator in Nov 2006 from a local dealer. I started facing problems from January 2008 with the product as its cooling capacity weakened and soon become dysfunctional. After repeated compaints to the service centre, the fridge was finally repaired on March 17. The company attributed the delay to unavailabilty of parts - compressor and gas. We paid them 1, 400 rupees for the bad service and also got a 6 months warranty.
                        After exactly 2 months, the same problem re-surfaced. We again complained and this time the service was prompt.
                        Four months after that, around 20th September we started facing similar problems. But ignored thinking it can't happen so soon. We saw ice-cream melting and flowing out of the freezer, vegetables drying up and milk souring. Again a complaint was filed. The problem, rectified within a week, was similar - gas choke up. The service centre again charged 1, 300 rupees this time.
                        This fridge has now become a white elephant for us. This is an unwarranted expenditure. It is not feasible to keep paying 1, 500 rupees every six months for an unsatisfactory product.
                        i purchased a electrolux regregerator of 165 ltr. there is a problem of no cooling. it is repaired 2 times within a month. again the same problem is coming. please rectify it as soon as possible.

                        Purchased Electrolux Refrigerator ER40 from Better Deals, Janak Puri on 25/03/2007 which created problem in cooling on March, 2009. The complaint was made to Electrolux which forwarded to volcare enterprises who charged Rs.1456/- as advance for gas filling on 21/03/2009 for three month validity but same cooling problem then volcare enterprises again charged Rs.450/- as advance for relay problem. After some time, the fridge was not working and various complaint were made with volcare enterprises. The technicians of volcare enterprises are not able to solve the problem and using one or another methods to delay the process and even they have not replace the relay part or damage the compressor which is a direct harassement to consumer who spent money in advance for want of better service. Such wrong practice by Volcare Enterprises technicians namely S/Sh Afzal, Balwant under supervisors / Seniors S/Sh Pawan Gupta, Nagesh Jindal may please be got verified. The details of various complaints made with Volcare Enterprise through their customer care are as follows :
                        DEL[protected] dt. 16.03.2009, DEL [protected] dt.25.03.2009, DEL[protected] dt.21.05.2009, DEL[protected] dt.31.05.2009.

                        Even the office of Volcare enterprises was contacted on[protected] for such repeated problem in cooling section of fridge but they straightway ignored and threathened us to take any action.
                        My request is to either repair the fridge by trained technician / engineers of Electrolux or refund our amount alongwith old parts.
                        Otherwise i may bound to take legal action about such harassement of consumer by M/s Volcare Enterprises referred by Electrolux firm.

                        I purchased a fridge on 01/05/2008 and it got spoiled. They came to check it and changed the PCB on 26/05/2009 which is just after completion of one year and I paid Rs.3, 000.00. It still does not work and now their technician says you have to pump in the gas which will cost me Rs.1, 200.00. They are not checking the entire problem and telling me once and for all what needs to be done. Neither do they have the time to speak. The person incharge is never available. I paid Rs. 24, 500.00 and have purchased it from Vijay Sales - Opera House.

                        I cant keep repairing a product of Rs.24, 500.00 and keep paying money in thousands. I have spent quiet a lot on my telephone calls as well.

                        I have a Electrolux Refridgerator, bought on 14th May 2004, 440 ltrs. It is not working even after repeated repairs . First when is got spolit on the 15th July 2008 it was assessed by a technician and the problem was temporaraly taken care of, but then is collapsed completely again on the 15th Jan 2009, and the similar action was repeated by the company . It has collapsed again and is not working for almost a month today 9th July 2009 and I have been trying to contact the service provider to get some help but in vain . There is no response from their end and such bad service, that I am required to write this objection .
                        I want them to respond to my complaint and the machine fixed properly so that there is no future problems . These are expensive products and I expect better customer service when I pay a price for the brand . I hope my concern will be addressed to the company in the right way and at the earliest .

                        The fridge of Electrolux make (240LTS, Double Door) which 'am using is 4 yrs old. Offlet a peculiar problem has surfaced with the fridge. Since 25th July'09, the deep freeze cooling is functioning uninterruptly while the lower part of the fridge we are experiencing "no cooling".                         Dear Sir,

                        I bought a refrigerator from electrolux on 2007. i have warranty of 5 years.
                        I got a problen with the excavator and cooling. on 22nd december i registered a complaint to the customer service people. On 22/1/10 again I got a call from " touch homeexpress " service center saying that they have received this camplain and they will take care of it with complain no- Hydba220148 and on 23/01/10 and gave us a estimation of Rs 2205.00 and we agree to it and they came around 25/01/10 with a weilding machine and with gas cutter and started removing every part of the Refregator with the weilding machine and after doing so Mr Jameen[protected]said sir I came with a different spare part and went back saying he will come on 26th or 27th with a exact spare part but even after lot of follow-up there was no response and on 5th Feb MR Sachin from Touchhomeexpress ( ph no[protected]called me and said that he have written a mail to Head Quater and he is expecting a new sparepart on 7th and somebody will come on 8th or on 9th of Feb but again the same old story and when ever we will call them either they will say ther are in lunch or in a meeting or driving or somebody else will pick the phone and will say Sachin sir will call us after sometime.

                        I need support from you people , thats why i regeistered my complain in Indian Consumer Complaint Forum.

                        I have purchased an Electrolux Ac in the month of december and got it intsalled by 15th Dec 2009 approx.

                        Now just 2 1/2 months down the line, i have a problem of no cooling. When checked it was informed that the Gas has leaked. How cum a new AC gas gets leaked so fast. I have been using a window Ac for more that 20 years with no problem and now this Split Ac Gas Leaking is of a real concern.

                        I have purchased Exectrolux 244 lit refrigerator from SHUBHAM, The Electronic Shopes, 1st N block, Rajajinagar, Bangalore-560 010, bearing Bill No. 606 dt.05.06.2009.

                        From the day of installation the refrigerator was not working properly. The Vegetable & Fruits gets decayed & Milk gets sour very fast.I have reported this on the first instance when the sevice engineer came for installation.

                        Not satisfied with his services & with the same compaints persists, I have approached the customer care with compaint No.PAN [protected] dt.15.01.2010 .

                        Even after repeated repairs, there is no improvement in working condition. Again I have approched the higher authorities through phone
                        & lodged compaints to the custormer care with No.PAN [protected] dt.
                        10.04.2010.

                        On the basis of the above compaints, one person attended on 12.04.10, and not satisfied with the equipment another person attended on 13.04.10 and finally another service engineer who have attended for the Third time on 15.04.10 he had accepted the non performance of the refrigator and informed me for a replacement of a new refrigerator subject to the approval from his higher authorities in about 10 days.

                        I am fed up of the recurring problem of cooling of the refrigerator.After giving numerous calls to the service centre one person turns up who replaces the parts namely timer, bimetallic and fan motor but the cooling gets worse.We have paid Rs. 2180 as repair charges also.Earlier the freezer compartment was getting cooled now that to has stopped.

                        Electrolux — DEFECTIVE PRODUCT

                        I have bought a Electrolux make Refrigerator on Jan'2007. Since then the product started giving various problems. A complain was lodge on mid of 2007 and it was attended by service centre so called engineer. They took it very lightly and said no problem at all, though there was tremendous sound from the refrigerator. Again on 2008 I have to lodge complain for overflow of water behind the refrigerator.The same was attended by Engineer and have suggested to change the plastic tray as ithas melted due to over heat from the copper pipe fitted behind the refrigerator. The engineer has also charged for his visit and the plastic tray. They have changed it after a lapse of 15 days and have fitted a smaller size then that of original. On being question why it is small they replied the this is only available and so they fitted the same and no problem will arise. After one week again they have to be called due to overflow of water. This time they have said that the tray is smaller and they will change it only after one week and so they did it. It was during that period that the service engineer told that due to heat from copper pipe the tray was melted and resulten in change of the same with payment as this is plastic material and there is no guartantee in plastic material. Thereafter, again this month i.e 19th July'10 I have to lodge complain as there was no cooling in the refrigerator and water started flowing inside the machine. They have attended on 19th July'10 and have charged Rs.1735.00 as to fill gas and change of pipe which has been choked due to shifting of refrigerator. This is not at all mentioned in the manual. The Engineer have told so and has confirm that he will change the thing within 2 days, but till 24th July no one attended and hence I have to complain again and the same was rectified on 25th July. But on 26th July it started giving the same problem.
                        Now, it appears from the version of the Engineer that the Refrigerator itself was a defected one which was supplied by the delear of Electrolux either intenionally or without the knowledge of the delear. I therefor request to kindly get rid of this and company may be asked to replace the refrigerator and free of cost so as to enable me to use without any hassel.

                        I have been complaining about cooling problem of my electrolux refrigerator but all to the deaf ears. the technicians visit once in 2 months and then disappear. but today when a technician visited my house he without seeing the problem or even the refrigerator asked to first pay Rs.250/- his service charge... i must have spend atleast rs.250/- on calling repeatedly from call centre to service centres. when i refused the technician asked me to dial a number for him and handed over the phone to me and on the other side was a lady who started speaking to me in high pitch and demanding rs.250/- first or else she said i can take her to consumer forum and she will deal with me there. one that the after sale service is so poor tha tthe technicians visit us after umpteenth calls and then we are asked to shell out rs.250/-and then trace them the number of the service centre (from where the lady spoke rudely) is 64572352. electrolux knows marketing products and after sale service is so poor + they enjoy humiliating customers.

                        The so called World Class Electrolux Refrigerator as a source of joy till June-2010.But to my utter dismay the compressor(under 5 yrs warranty) failed to function and the same was attended to by Techno service at a cost of Rs1000/- (vide ref-2 ).
                        But my satisfaction lost no longer. After hardly 3 months the unit had failed again Techno service people came and replaced the thermostat at a cost of Rs800/- (vide ref-3).Again as it did not work, the same people came after a couple of days and recorded his observation as there is insufficient Gas.
                        Again after a couple of days one more gentleman came and said that the chiller tray compartment to be replaced .He had disconnected the Gas Tube and the cost of the trays estimate was given around Rs3000/-
                        It may be seen that already 3 times there were different observations by the Tech service Agency and I presume they are not competent enough to diagnose the actual fault.
                        As a senior citizen,,I am put into lot of mental agony because of the deficiency in service and before I initiate action for the redressal through the appropriate forum

                        I shall be thankful if you could give your final final observationand conclusion as I could not vouchsafe with the findings of the Technicians of your agency as they are unconvincing.

                        I shall therefore wait for your reply.
                        I have adequate recorded evidences on the laxity on the part of the technicians and will establish when opportunity demands.

                        I have purchased fridge 1 1/2 yrs before thru Sri Balaji Electronics,Kalavai.

                        Within a year, the compraser was not working and i contacted Customer service and they charged Rs 2000 for the same.

                        Again Compraser is not working within Ten months after the repair.

                        I am following with the Customer care from November month onward, But there is no proper response.

                        Kindly look into this matter and take necessary action.

                          I had bought an Electrolux Semi Automatic Washing Machine Model Fabriguard Classic Plus EWS 70 on 30th June 2007.

                          Its dryer lid got broken. I registered the complaint on their Service Helpline on 21st Aug 2010.. the complaint No. is MUM [protected]. After many follow ups their engineer comes just to say that the dryer lid would be replaced within a week and takes his charge of Rs. 280/-

                          I followed up with them every week...asking the status of the part. It was told to me, the complaint would be sorted out very soon. I finally got in touch with their Sr. Supervisor Mr. Sameen, who also reassured me that he would personlly look into the matter and get it resolved. Today when again I call him up, he says, that the machine is obsolete and Electrolux has stopped producing the machine or its spare parts.

                          I ask for my refund of the service charge that they have taken from me as nothing has been done to resolve my complaint. What kind of a company is this ...a money minting company, that outdates its products within 3 years???? So that the customer is left stranded midway and has no choice but to dispose off the machine...

                          I want the part to be replaced or machine be exchanged ... for a new one by Electrolux. Or else I would be left with no option but to move Consumer court and do negative publicity of the company, its product and after sale service by means of distributing pamphelets and getting the complaint of such a High handed behaviour of the Company in Newspaper.

                            I have an Electrolux Microwave oven, which have been purchased during August 2008. Currently the same is not working and I have lodged a complaint (Token No: coc[protected]) with your Costumer care a month ago to get it repaired. I have repeatedly requested for several times, but in no vain.

                            I purchased your equipment with the full hope of getting very good response and after care services from the company. Being a major town like Kochi, I hoped that your representatives may be readily available on a call. To my dismay even after a lapse of one month my request has not been cared at all. Hence there is no other go but to approach the Consumer Protection Council for getting redressed my grievance.

                            Hope that you will do the needful urgently with out allowing me to approach court of law.

                            I opted Electrolux Microwave... on 17th of december 2010 I complaint (complaint no GZB [protected]) from that day iam calling regularly to the coustmer care and same rply am gtting alwayz dat wid in 24hrs our executive/engineer will cum 2 ur place nd resolv ur problem. now more then 2 months gonna be over and still am following them up...personaly i'll suggest everybody who r making plan to take electrolux products plz go far away from this company...worst company worst product & worst services by customer care.

                              The above Microwave Oven I have given/shifted to my old aged mother who's residing in 9/33, Ispat Nagar, Risali, BHILAI NAGAR, Dist, Durg and after single use this Microwave oven stop working.

                              My Mother made a complaint to company and complaint noted vide No RAN[protected] dated 19-04-10 the Mr. Navin Mishra local delar has coleected the microvawe from our residence and due to unavilailabilty of some spare the above said MW sent to Companies repair center Raipur and one name and moblile no given for furrther followup from Mr. Alam[protected]. He assured company will give you replacement and he is waiting for it.

                              Till date we haven't received our microwave oven and whever we makes calls from Indore he give reply that I am at somwhere else and will get back to You after half an hour He never call back to us . Again I have made a comlaint on Toll free No of custmer care center and also sent SMS but till date I havnt received a call and neither repaired our microwave nor given any replacement.

                              I have no hope to get any response from this uslees Electolux Company.

                              I am requesting to you Sir, to take suitable action and penalize then so, this case will set example for others.

                                You are requested kindly to look into the matter and pass the necessary order to replace compressor as earliest possible. So that your consumer should be in a position to utilise the product in this hot season.

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  I purchased Electrolux Fridge Model ER37FF on 15.8.08. During the warranty period i.e. by Mar 09, its trays developed cracks. I took up the matter with the local Vediocon Service Center at Jalandhar Punjab, but failed to get the trays replaced despite a number of reminders & personal follow up. Now in Aug 2010, the fridge has failed to cool in the lower cabin. I lodged a complaint at the local complaint Centre & at the call Center (Complaint No. JAL [protected]), with lot of follow up their mechanic came at home & replaced the Bi-metallic Switch, Thermal Fuse & Timer at a cost of Rs. 1500. But problem is the same. What should do? Please help. Thanks

                                    I am very unlucky customer that I purchased Electrolux Refrigerator from some local shop in Bangalore . From the first week we have observed that Defrost system is not working and Refrigerator‘s freezer was not in good cooling condition .



                                    We called number of times and they have not taken our complaint seriously and they informed that we do not have enough resources due to merger of Electrolux with Videocon India . Electrolux Complaint on call centre +[protected]



                                    Our complaints are given below –

                                    1.Complaint 8/4/2009 (communication with engineer’s number [protected]) .
                                    2.Complaint 12/04/2009 BAN[protected]
                                    3.Complaint Reminder 18th April to Mr . Mugesh- with complaint number 64190993 to Mr . Naveen .
                                    4.Reminder call – 18th April again (second reminder)
                                    5.Complaint no BAN[protected]
                                    6.Complaint no . BAN[protected] 12th May 2009
                                    7.Complaint no BAN[protected] 19th May 2009 (urgent complaint request)
                                    8.Complaint no BAN[protected] 15th May 2009 (Replacement of freeze)
                                    9.Complaint no BAN[protected] 12th Sept 2009 (Replacement of freeze)


                                    All above 9 complaints under warranty complaints and 5 year warranty for compressor as per the documents .



                                    Now, on discussion based on latest complaint we found that freezer is dead and refrigerator is also dead . Due to harder Ice frozen in the refrigerator and gas leakage in the freezer system and engineer is not ready to repair our freeze .



                                    Even in the most of the complaints number 8 and 9 it was under observation and they have not taken it seriously .



                                    Now I am disturbed and writing you the email and need response ASAP . If no reply comes with in 24hours I will go the legal way get compensation and fraud against Dealer and Company too .



                                    29th Feb 2010 again we got another complaint BAN[protected] engineer is not ready to resolve issue without fees . But we will not pay the refrigerator was under this worst condition . Lot of harassment in this case and I would like rto take action againt dealer and company both .

                                    really a worst products of electrolux ,,i really recommed to every body that not to buy electrolux refrizerator because they nt provide service ,,i have bought the refrigerators in 2007 and 3 times the compresser has been changed and now once again the problem occured but the service centre guys doesnot reply to the complain,,really too bad ,,
                                    since one month the fridge has been in closed ,,but the company has been not giving responce..
                                    I support you sir, i bought the fridge from electrolux on 2007. Ssituation is same with you.
                                    From last 3 month we following up with the customer service people, but no response.

                                    We have to do something on this issue.

                                    Electrolux (Service by Videocon) / Fridge — Cooling Problem

                                    I purchased an Electrulux Refrigerator Model (EDL 244) on 06th Feb 10. Last 60 days I am struggling as it's having cooling problem. We are not able to use the Refrigerator at all.



                                    First complain was registered on 26th Aug 10, Service Engineer came after a week, checked & repaired. But the problem still got unsolved. Again after repeated complains, last week another service engineer attended the problem. He remarked the PCB is to be replaced & will be attended within 48 HRS ...never came back.



                                    Till date this problem is unsolved. I am as a customer is frustrated. If the problem can't be solved please replace the refrigerator or refund my hard earned money.
                                    Service by Videocon Electronics is very very very ...poor, I will personelly feel & advice not to by any product from Videocon.The quilitu is bad & you will not get any service... you will be in real soup.

                                      Dear Concerned,

                                      We, GIR Logistics (P) Ltd, Jorhat purchased one Air Conditioner, make Electrolux, Model No EA18SCRDA1, Type-1.5Ton Split Type as on 24/04/2008 vide your Bill No 1201 dated 24/04/2008 & Challan No 1734 dated 21/04/2008 & 1740 dated 24/04/2008. At the very beginning, the A/C worked well for almost one year and then it started showing problems. The cooling effect of the A/C gradually diminished and ultimately, it became totally nil. At that very moment, we contacted you for the repair of the A/C. Then you sent your service engineers for a check up. After checking, they found low gas in the A/C and hence refilled it. After that, the A/C got instrumental and ran without complaints for a very few days and again started showing problems. When contacted again, your service engineers found problems in the compressor and repaired it. Now again, the A/C has become out of order from last one month.

                                      Looking at all the above mentioned situations, we are really getting harassed after contacting you again and again as the A/C is not in our personal account but in the account of our company. As the compressor of the A/C is totally defective and showing problems time and time again, it should be your duty to replace the same as the compressor has got a warranty period of five years. We are astonished at the very neglecting response from your side after repeated complaints from our side. If the compressor is not replaced, we will be forced to lodge a complaint in the consumer court next time for further legal processing of the matter. So, please take urgent action as necessary and as soon as possible.
