I am Vikash Kumar staying in Anushaktinagar, Deonar, Chembur. I had
purchased an ELICA HOB with model number FLEXI PRO FB 4B 70 MT DX,
serial number BJ20261894. This was purchased from Vijay Sales store,
Chembur.

Purchase details: Invoice no. BGD-A-S125466 dated 27/10/2020
Amount paid: 20000/-

Installation date: 06/11/2020

After the installation in my new home on 6th Nov, 2020, we had left for
our hometown in Patna for Diwali vacation and came back on 01/12/2020.

We started using the HOB and Chimney. After 2-3 days o[censored]se, we noticed
discoloration of all burners and black colour started coming out in
small patches. Even the Brass portions are showing discoloration and
dents. It is looking as if it is 5-10 year old HOB. It looks pathetic
and difficult to imagine that an international company like ELICA will
provide such cheap material for 20000/- rupees.

Earlier I had GLEN HOB which was fantastic and used for almost 6 years.
We, even before selling it on OLX finally, never noticed such things and
got a resale value close to its purchase value as the finishing of HOB
was still maintained even after so many years o[censored]se.

after a long battle on emails and phone, we got burners changed on 04 Jan 2021.
Its been less than a month when my all burners were changed and again all burners have gone bad in just 10 days o[censored]se.
Now in addition to all burners getting faded and discolored which was changed recently by Elica technician Hemanton 4th Jan, 2021, its has developed another problem. Three sparl plugs are loose and some of them are not working. It may lead to fire hazard someday as we need to press for long time for spark to come. One burner we are not able to use completely it for last one month.

Now i understand that this whole piece is defective and we facing one or the other problem every fews days.
I am completely dissatisfied with the Elica product and will not recommend my family friends and in online reviews. Its a normal Gas stove which has 4 knobs and it costs more than 20K in Indian market. A premium product having the cheapest quality I have never seen in my life. Its a looting of customers.

I had email conversations and phone conversations for last one month with one Mr. Sachin, Mr Pillai and some technicians. My mind goes blasting as all saturdays and sundays I am busy in either writing or calling to them but for these people customers are like peanut... Just make money out of them and throw them like the CHILKA of peanut.
These products are so bad that I am getting daily hot conversation with my wife about a 20K product and worth even not for penny. I have lost peace of mind because of this. Also in my house which is recently renovated... all products are new and look awsum except this scrap ELICA hob which many of my family friends and relatives have seen and were surprised how ELICA/ Vijay Sales is cheating poor customers.

When I contacted ELICA people, they say it happens... I mean a product which cost 20000 rupees and looks like a scrap in 10 days o[censored]sage and within one month it develops so much of problems. Its shame for Elica, an international brand... and also Vijay sales which endorses it... I have sent several mails to Vijay sales and they have never replied even as a courtesy manner... these companies are hopeless... I am an educated guy working as a scientist in esteemed Bhabha Atomic Researcg Centre and my wife is a MBA post grad from SPJIMR, Mumbai... they are treating the educated people like this and talking so rudely... and not returning our money... I dont know what might be happeneing with the millions of poor middle class people...

I had requested Elica and Vijay sales to take this piece back and return our money. But they are not answering and now its more than 2 months...
This is our hard earn money which we cannot allow to go waste on a wasteful product.
Plz look into the matter and return our money so that we can purchase Glen or other make Burner...

I hope in Prime Minister Modi Ji's regime, we will get justice and ELICA people will be punished...

We are going through the same problem, called customer care many times. They came and check but in vain. I purchased my Elica gas stove from king's collection store. They also didn't respond. From day 1, its not working properly. High flame issue and lighter issue is there.

      सर मेने बहोत सी कम्पनियो की चिमनी सर्च कर के अलइका की चिमनी मांगवाई,[protected] को चिमनी आगयी थी जिसकी इस्टालेशन की सुचना मेने तुरंत आपके सर्विस सेंटर पर कॉल करके देदी थी, लेकिन करीब 6 दिन बीतजाने के बावजूद आजतक आपका सर्विस इंजिनियर इसकी इंस्टालेसन करने नहीं आया सिर्फ फोन ही आते रहे... की आपकी चिमनी की इंस्टालेसन होगई की नहीं.. और हर बार एक ही जवाब कल हनारा बंदा आएगा... मेने लाइफ मे पहला अलइका का प्रोडक्ट ख़रीदा ओर मुझे इतनी मुसीबत का सामना करना पड़राहा है... आज के बाद मे किसी भी मेरे मित्र को अलइका का प्रोडक्ट लेने की सलाह नहीं दूंगा... इतना गेरजिम्मेदार सर्विस किसी भी अच्छी कम्पनी की नहीं हो सकती... इस के चक्कर मे रोज हमारे घर मे झगडे होरहे है... अलइका की इस सर्विस के लिए मे जीरो रेटिंग देता हु...ये मेरा फीडबैक है..

        I have purchased a ellica chimney. Due to PCB Issue the chimney stopped working. I filed a complain on 8 Jan 21 But No-one addressed to this problem. Its been one and half month since i filed this complain.

          I ordered a chimney from elica through Amazon. My kitchen is very easy to install the ducting pipe aluminium required is very less as there is already a exhaust fan hole immediately over the stove almost parallel to the top end of the chimney. But he is asking me to put a new hole on the top saying the chimney will reverse flow the smoke if the exhaust pipe is near and I don't understand the logic and science of it and I feel he is just fooling me around as he might not earn much from the installation as no extra ducting is required. I also cannot drill a hole in the kitchen as the beam of the building runs through it. I am also not able to return the product as Amazon is giving only replacement not return and no help from elica inspite of repeated calls. Either they can send a technician who is not money minded or take the product back and give me a product that is compatible with my kitchen.

Every time CS says your complaint has been escalated. Where is the escalation?? what you do by escalating?! Are you interested in only selling new products?! What about service of existing customers.                     I had purchased elica dishwasher in June end. On January 18th 2021, It started giving error code on panel on and off. I called elica customer service and fixed .Swevice person came two times in a week of span.
                    First he told me may be inlate valve is not working then next day capacitor is not working .Finally he opened dishwasher and said motor needs to be replaced. It been more than 2 weeks but problem is not resolved. Poor customer service as I wanted to talk with head, customer representative told twice head is not available, he will give you call in an hour .Never got any call from him.I am very much disappointed in brand elica as it's been only 6 months and product is not working plus pathetic service. In future never going to buy any elica product

                      One of the worst customer care..My gas hob, 2 burners are not working properly, and burner needs to be replaced. I have raised the issue in the month of September 2020. They said, burners will be replaced in free of cost as Brass burner has life time warranty. But they said due to covid burner is not available in stock, so it will come in month of October, followed up in October they said it will come in November,...

                      I have bought elica Island chimney two weeks ago from industrial area phase 2 chandigarh from S.R. Enterprise from Mr. Raghav, he was going to provide me installation in between 2 to 3 days but now its been two weeks and they came tomorrow and ask for advance 500 rupees for installation and after that today after 10 phone calls they came and till now they are not capable of installing my chimney
                      I am totally fed up of this service and this type of harassment please do revert me if there is any action taken against this from company side

                          We purchased above product on 17 May 2019 but since beginning there was a problem with the ignition and flames. During the guarantee period we were promised that the ignition switch will be replacedbut not changed. Now after the guaranty period the self ignition of left big burner is not working and the technician confirmed that ignition switch should be changed. Since it is a problem from beginning it should be replaced by Elica as promised.

                          Also there is a problem with centre burner. Elica already replaced one of the burner after even after guaranty period but now the centre burner is not working.
                          It's really a defective piece and should have been replaced during guarantee period but Elica kept on repairing it. We would like Elica to replace the ignition switch and burner even if it outside guarantee since the problems existed during even guarantee period.

                              I had visited the so called authorized dealer for ELICA called ELICA - S B INNOVATION on 6th Jan 2021, to enquire about a chimney. He didn't told anything about the offers on the product, such as free installation kit which was suppose to be provided and also quoted a price which was more than mentioned in the list. When checked he tells that price has been recently updated, so its not in the list.

                              I had been to the store on 10th Jan 2021, to further look at the product and purchase it. However, to our surprise the way this person spoke with me and my family, was so arrogant and he was asking us to leave the shop. The only argument, I had with him was regarding the price which was not matching with the online price. But he was not bothered to listen to us and asking us to purchase it only through online. At one point of time, he started raising his voice and asking us to leave the store. It was like he was harassing us and my family. I would want ELICA company to look into this matter seriously as we would not want anyone to go through this situation, from a reputed company.

                                I had contacted elica toll free customer care number for the chimney bulb repair, they sent their technician, he changed the bulb and charged 260 rs along with visiting charges of 250 rs, total 510 rs.He didn't give me any receipt for the same and took only cash from me.on the next day, newly fitted bulb was fused so called him again, but he didn't came, also not responding to call also, contacted toll free number again and again but they are saying you have to pay again the charges for the same.

                                  The worst ever service I’ve ever experienced. The customer service person is intentionally cutting the call . The technician didn’t visit even after 3 weeks of complaining. Please remember gas stove is not an easy thing to play with.
