Elica — Just a Elica Authorized service turned my fully working hob to safety risk HOB | |||
I am having Elica 4 burner hob, with one multi flame and 3 swirls. One swirl started working in low flame. we called elica customer care and they sent a person to rectify it. The charge for his arrival is 413 rs. He came here and tried to fix the issue but in vain and started blabbering that it would require cleaning and will cost you 1000 plus. We said you do the fix for the hob and if something need to be replace, replace it. He tried replacing the injector and so but no improvement. Then somehow he felt we are not satisfied and so he started removing all the burners, started cleaning. He used some screw drivers, players etc and started poking the burners and said lot of dust. He was using all the tools very roughly and finally said he cleaned it but after that also the burner behaved the same way but my main working multi flame started working abnormally. When we light my multi flame burner in small mode and increase it to full flame, it flame will not spread to outer holes and gas will leak. He started saying this is how it is supposed to work and we have to wave our hand to spread the flame.I am sure that It was not that way from the day i bought the hob and was working perfectly. he was stubborn on this and he left. We raised the complaint again, the service team sent two more persons but all they do is some cleaning and saying you can live with this as waving hands will spread the flame or replace the burner. My question to you, if this is the way you are doing servicing, then please don't do any servicing. We are calling authorized service center because we care the hob and believe that you do it perfectly and ensure no damage. But the case is totally wrong here. I request you to come and fix the issue, and if something needed to be replaced, you do that bearing the cost by you as this issue was brought to us by your authorizing service guy. I raised the complaint in your twitter account also and any damage or safety issue is fully your responsibility and will sue you if something happened.
