[Resolved] Elica — oil dripping from chimney | |||
Hi, Our elica chimney bought around 1.5 years back has been giving us problem ever since. Oil keeps dripping even if we clean it every 3-4 days. We have called consultantants 3 times who just advices deep cleaning and goes back. We did amc in dec 2018 and did 1 deep cleaning however condition became worse after deep cleaning. Oil drips every day now. We again called consultant who again adviced us to clean it and went back. Noe also oil flips every day even if we clean mesh filter every two days. Your techinicians always come and go back without any resolution. We have wasted enough money on this. Can anything be done to fix this? This has become quite irritating now. Chimney is not good working...bhut baar complaint ki hai bathinda m bt solve ni hoyi...
Joan Joy was your issue finaly resolved... And could you tell me the model... I am facing the same issue with my chimney bought just 4 months back... For past 2 months I am running from pillar to post, 6 technicians visiting my place so far, with all sorts of R&D going on to identify the problem.
We have also bought elicas chimney before the lockdown, paying huge amount. But we are also facing the oil dripping issue frequently. Untill now we used to wonder what's happening and is if that chimeys require deep cleaning every fortnight? How could they make such faulty design and knowing well come ntinue to sell such products in the market. Either they should rectify the design or stop selling such products.

facing this issue with elica auto clean filterless chimney within 5 days of purchase
I am also facing an oil-dripping issue from the border of the chimney...I don't why it is happening, even though we are vegetarians, a person who is coming for servicing told us, plz don't use mustard oil. Although this is not a valid excuse... let's see what will happen after the second complaint.
