We purchased an elica cooktop 4 burner stove on the[protected]. One of the burners started making noise upon ignition, within 2 days of installation and also producing low flame. Hence, we called the company to request a technician visit to check any problem. The company sent a chimney technician instead who very confidently opened the company fittings below the stove to fix the issue. After he left, since the very next day we started facing problems of gas leakage from either the same or the other burners. Seeing the seriousness of this issue, this time we requested elica to send an "experienced cooktop technician" only. They sent a 15 year experienced "senior technician" who came not once, not twice but 3 times, but was still not able to fix the issue of gas leakage. Further, he caused damage to the pipes and the main product below by hammering the pipes during the course of repair. Now the product is lying wasted in a sorry state where elica executives are calling everyday asking us to give them the product to send it to their factory for repairs. When we told them that the product was damaged at the hands of their company technician, we want only refund or replacement, they are adamant for repairs only because its their company policy.

When they realised that we dont want to go ahead for repairs, they have started a new tactic. They are calling and intentionally disconnecting the phone after we answer. Is this what they mean by "customer care"???

By far, this has been the most horrible experience for us with elica. Please do not go for their products at all. We are really regretting buying this product.

    I have purchased elica kitchen chimney auto clean touch control
    With baffle filter 90 cm, 1200 m3/h (Wd hac
    Touch bf 90, black & glass) | b0762mrkwp (Wdhact90) on last year. But afte from its installation its not working properly, my whole kitchen room make dirty due its bad performance. I have also complain 2-3 time to elica service people attend the same but not not solved the problem.

      This is the 2nd time i am posting this as elica didnt take any action on my first complaint.

      We have used so many stoves till date starting from brands which do not have names to prestige. I have never had or seen issues that i see with this stupid brand. From the time i have bought till date there are only issues with this product.

      To the people who are planning to buy an ellica product. Below are few eye openers:-

      1) do not but this product at all.
      2) if you are even buying it with the authorized dealer for x price, the price does not include installation charges. Now you may ask me what is there to install in a stove. Exactly, i installed it myself to save that installation charges. But, when i had some issue with the stove, i had to pay the installation charges for them to come and visit my stove. Note that the product was still under warranty, just 2 months after i purchased.
      3) now my warranty is over, my stove is not functioning well, so for them to come and visit i need to pay a sum of 450 rs as visiting charges.
      4) its just 2 years the burners are gone, the service technician gives me some random explanations as to why the brass burners are gone.

      Do not fall for there branding and offers. Its a most horrible brand i have ever seen. Please go for our good old brands like sunflame, prestige, pigeon etc

        oil dripping from chimney

        Hi,

        Our elica chimney bought around 1.5 years back has been giving us problem ever since. Oil keeps dripping even if we clean it every 3-4 days. We have called consultantants 3 times who just advices deep cleaning and goes back. We did amc in dec 2018 and did 1 deep cleaning however condition became worse after deep cleaning. Oil drips every day now. We again called consultant who again adviced us to clean it and went back....

        Since eleven months (I. E. From day one) we had been complaining about the defective chimney model slim vertical 90 bil that was purchased at an amount of rs. 28, 500/- for the product. Invoice number is 122 and date of purchase is 06/03/2018. It has come to my understanding that this model catches your fancy but its a total failure. From day one this piece is giving problem and we had been complaining to the hyderabad branch office located at west marredpally for rectifying the same. Till date the piece is not rectified. Hyderabad branch is totally inactive and the seniors don't bother about service. They are only interested in making money through sales. Junior service guys visit my place at odd hours disturbing our piece of mind and give some story and vanish. Till date the actual problem is not known. Hope that this message will wake them up from the deep slumber. Now after ten days.

          Hello we have purchased the chimney of model glace ltw 60 a year ago and the shop keeper did not inform us regarding the warranty registration so we have not registered and this is 15 years warranty product. Now the shop owner was changed and he is saying i don't know about the previous owner.

          We are not understanding what to do at present and we bought this with high cost just because it has life time warranty. Could you please help us with this.

            I bought elica cook top 18th july 2018 right now my flame is almost dead. I raised request for service by calling customer care on 13th feb'19 at sharp 9am with crm id 99_863782 after that i called number of time every time they responded with word "will solve soon or with in 24-48 hour" but still i didn't receive call from any technician or elica group. Last 4 day's i have to parcel food from outside at that price i should buy another cook top.

              Hi, almost 9 months back i bought a chimney from elica, one day it started vibrating making noises and fall down.. I complained to elica customer care in december but no response, i did follow ups almost 5-6 times, they came clicked pictures but again no response. I have never seen such pathetic customer care anywhere.. Chimney might have fallen on anybody’s head injuring the person!! It was only after installation person advice we got it fixed at said place!
              Elica team should turn up, it’s been 2 months now! Mark my issue on high priority and advice. It was a life threat!

                I have purchased the elica dishwasher and hardly used it 20 times and it's not working after that. I called customer care and some of there location service vendor visited and said that it's some electronic board is not working. I am using other electrical items very frequently like washing machine, microwave, mixy etc from last many years but i haven't faced any such problem that after 20 useage they stopped working or some fault occurred. This is such stressful and dishonest with the customers. Elica must properly test and do the reliability analysis of there products. I request elica to immediately resolve this issue.

                  I purchased cooktop and chimney from elica this july so they are both under warranty. While using the cooktop the gas knob broke. So i registered a complaint but no action was taken so i registered again and told them that i’m worried that since the gas knob is broken and i don’t know if i the gas is on or off there are chances of gas leakage but again nobody visited my house even when i told them about gas leakage so i again made a complaint then finally after calling them again and again for the whole week their guy visited my house after fitting the knob he asked me for money and i told him that since cooktop is under warranty i do not have to pay him he gave me a vague explanation about what do or do not come under warranty. But i called customer service 5 times to register my complaint and told them everytime that my knob is broken and has to be changed and not even one of them told me that i will have to pay for the knob not even once. Companies like samsung, lg, sony, kohler always inform their customer about what does or does not comes under warranty. And elica’s customer service department is so rude, unprofessional and illiterate that they did not even listen to my complaint and cut my call. I called them 10 times and each time they picked up the call said hello and cut the call.                     This is regarding elica model "773 ct vetro" which i bought in 2017 from vijaysales gurgaon.

                    Within 1 year i have made 2 complaints regarding burner/flame issue and paid service charges as well (Inr 413 per service)

                    I bought a product paying, say 4000 inr and investing 826 inr per year for maintenance that's not a fair deal, right?

                    Again i am facing low flame and knob rotation issue.

                    No doubt that elica is good in look but it should be good in cook as well.

                    In case again i pay 413 inr means, within a year i end up paying inr 1239 [413*3] for a product costing 4000 only.

                    Better to have cookstove from hp/indane/bharat gas itself, lookwise they may be plain-standard but they last long and no maintenance required. At the end cooking matters, not the fancy stove.

                      I purchased an Elica cooktop last year and have been highly disappointed in the product, your service and the way my complaint has been handled so far.

                      1. I purchased the Flexi cook top 4 burner in early 2017 and started facing inadequate flame issues in 6 months
                      2. I called for a technical engineer, he visited and corrected the flame for adequate cooking, but after few months again the burners' flame went low and it also started making gurgle noises while it is turned on.
                      3. I again call technical support, to which a representative visits and asks me for Rs 2500 saying the burner is damaged (he said the technician who visited earlier increased the flame but that caused your burner to damage)
                      4. I escalate this to the service supervisor (someone called Mr. Pandey) visits my home and he now demands Rs. 5000 (instead of earlier 2500) for complete solution (Saying the burner plate is also damaged and needs replacement)
                      5. I once again call the technical support and they ask me to contact Mr Malik for solution and he suggested to buy a new cooktop.

                      Really? Is that how the customer should be suggested - buy a new product in less than 2 years. What kind of product is Elica team building out here in India?

                      I am now writing on this forum hoping to get to a solution.

                        It's unfortunate to say this, I have purchased Elica 3 burner cook top on 26 Nov 2018 from Amazon, delivered on 29 Nov 2018 and taken in use on Sunday 8 Dec 2018. Sad to say not even I have used for 4 days, the cook-top is not working as auto ignition stop working. While cooking, one of closed burner knob suddenly took fire from inside and knob was heated like anything. It was unexpected after spending this much of money. I have contacted Amazon and elica customercare, both are not saying Amzon or Elica reprenstative will replace but no one doing the needful to replace this product.

                          I am very dissatisfied with the experience of my Elica Glass Chimney and Hob The Service staff was extremely rude and careless and extorting money from us on behalf o[censored]s being helpless.

                          Series of event
                          Due to an explosion of the pressure cooker, we broke the Elica Hob Glass top. On several complaints to the company, the executive arrived after 3 days, upon which he promised to get back to us on the availability of the Hob glass. The Hob was purchased in the year 2015 with a valid Bill and comes with a 10year warranty/guarantee and is still a running model.

                          As we could not live a single hour without a gas stove, we purchased an additional 4 burner stove as a standby as the company executive Mr. Pandey stopped picking up our phone call (the executive who visited us to inspect on our complaint).

                          We waited another 20 days to find out that our complaint was never registered in the system, and only now that we were calling repeatedly, did they take up the complaint officially. As previously, they heard us on the phone and sent Mr. Pandey to inspect the situation.

                          10 october, 2018 : internally an order was placed by mr malik for replacement. malik was not on a conference while it was being communicated to me that the glass will take time to replace.

                          Malik placed an order internally (name not being revealed.) mr malik did not bother to follow up on the order.

                          Mr malik even after one onth does not know if the glass provided is of the required model.

                          As per mr. pandey, the glass is changed as per new model of the company. The burner x 1 has to be manually adjusted to shape up the new glass.

                          10 november : was picked up for repair

                          20 november : glass was not in stock. it came to office on 15 november as told by mr. harinder malik (service manager). the glass brought by mr pandey was not appropriate and belonged to another model.

                          Finally, the burner was picked up and replaced after one and a half month, but to our surprise, the layout of the burner location changed.. We relaised that the burners were present not in the original location, as the glass was not available.

                          Initially, we were told that the glass costed 2500 minus 10% discount, but now on a replacement, the company had added 1500, i.e. now the glass costed 4-4, 500 and 3-4000 expense was added making the total bill to 6-7000 rupees instead.

                          i would like my original settings to be back or the burner to be completely replaced.

                          Mr harender malik of elica AGM is really a useless person who is not at all customer friendly and cause harrassement to customer a very misbehaved guy and he is rather adding any goodwill to company is burden to company and his behaviour is really bringing goodwill of company at stake

                            I request your consumer no for servicing of my elica chimney in last month. One technician came for the job but while servicing the unit he broke the front glass of the chimney. I clearly told him that its your fault & you have to bear the cost but he requested to pay atleast 50% of that glass cost. We agreed and pay him 50% cost i. E. Around 250/- rs. He came after 15 days with the glass and fix it. He left the our premises after fixing the glass but within 30 mnts the glass came out out and fell down. I again complaint on your customer care no for that and after 15 days the same guy came, again fix the glass & left the premises. To our surprises the chimney glass again came out & fell down within one hour. Now we are very disappointed this kind of service we are getting from elica. Its totally wastage of time & proper work is still pending. Today i again complaint on your customer service no ([protected]).
                            Now i request someone senior to take care of this and finish the job. Waiting for an early response from your side & trained technician for closure of job.

                              I have purchased elica cook top model no. 703 ct vetro blk, the moment it was connected & lighted up it was fire all over & under the cook top, we were so scared that we ran out of kitchen then come back after few seconds, there was fire all over the cook top, as me & my family's life was on stake i than with some courage i had to go to inside & turn the cylinder know off as it was fire all over.

                              I want some very strict action to be taken as they are playing with people lives, no action from the customer care so far, pathetic service, shame on a company like this.

                                Guys plz plz pls don’t purchase leica products at all.. Their service is more than worst... No words to explain that.. After purchasing the product they won’t come for installation.. I have purchased 25 days back.. They haven’t come for installation even though so many follow ups.. And also installation charges is heavy..1stly when i was raising request for installation they said overal installation charges is 1300 + gst... And when i got a call from technician he s telling 2500 is the charges.. After that i hav called customer care for 4, 5 times... But they dint respond properly.. And still installation is not done.. Company is service is worst and their people are more than worst.. They are #..

                                  After registering a complaint regarding my cooking range which was bought 3yrs back no one turns up and over and above they close the issue even without attending to it or even visiting the house..
                                  Then it has to be reopened by me again and yet no one turns up even after 5 days and the sick customer care claims that they can understand the problem... Such a delayed response and service is something i have not come across with any of my home appliances... Very sad state of affairs for a brand which claims to be the best in the industry...
                                  Now that i am stuck with this cooking range after shelling out 50grand i can only pray that someonewill really look into the matter.
                                  This has been the case everytime i have requested for the service in these last three years. Not once i felt the response being satisfactory.

                                    We have purchased elica kitchen chimney from Amazon 24th September 2017. The product delivered was a defective one. Never worked properly. Complained many times. The light automatically fell down after six months of purchase. The service person Pasted it after complaint. Not replaced that component. Now it stops working after one minute of start.
                                    I found that the product was purchased online we are actually cheated by Amazon and elica supplier.
                                    We need justice.

                                      I bought elica chimney (Model: spotltw 60 slim tc3v power plus le) on 3rd october from your dealer classic steel wazirpur.
                                      On 11th october i called for installation the technician came and said i will get the fexible aluminium pipe tomorrow and then fix the chimney. Then on 12th october the another technician came and tried to fix the chimney then he detected that the fan is broken. He also removed the tape from the chimney, i aske him to change the whole chimney but he said only fan can be exchanged. He told me to talk to the dealer to exchange whole chimney. I went to dealer to exchange it but he didn't exchange it because the tape from the chimney was removed, which was techinician's mistake. Now we settled the issue by only asking him to change the fan. Now on 13th october new technician came to change the fan and fix the chimney. Now he came up with new problem that our duct pipe is of 4inches and chimney's conversion pipe is of 6 inches. So chimney is making lot of sound. If the issue was tje 4" pipe when 1st tech came he didnt told us 2nd tech didnt told us about pipe andnow when 3rd tech came he didnt told us about pipe when he was fitting the chimney and he started some sound was coming from chimney. Now who will pay for the extra labour charges or i want to rwturn the chimney i want my full money back.
                                      Kindly help with this issue. I want to exchange my chimney.

                                      Auto ignition not working properly, all nuts are in loose condition, i already complaint this matter but not attend the complaint till date
