[Resolved]  Elica — Product registration for providing warranty

Product registration for warranty failed due to technical problems in their website and when i wrote to the customer service for registering my products as they was a problem at their end they asked me for the purchase bill that i sent but they seem to have done nothing as a year later when there was a problem with the product they charged me for the same stating the product is not registered for claiming warranty. As a company is it not their duty to register all products they sold automatically? In this case i have written to them stating there is a problem at their end.

Dear Sir, Greetings from Elica India. With Ref to the telecom communication with our Customer Care Executive we would like to inform you that Cooktop has the warranty of 2 years from Date of Purchase. Product was purchased on Jan’2015 and it was covered under warranty till Jan’2017. Burner replacement was done on Apr’2017 when the product was out of warranty, hence the service technician has charges you for burner replacement.
Regarding manufacturing defects, Sir usually manufacturing defects arises in the very 1st week o[censored]sage and as per the CRM records installation of the product was done in Feb’2015 & the 1st complaint was registered with us on Aug’2016 this means the product was working fine and there is no manufacturing defect in the product.
