Purchased an Elica chimney from their Bommasandra store near Electronic City on January 28, 2025, and had it installed on January 30th in my new home. From day one, this has been an absolute disaster.
When we moved in during March, I tried using the chimney, only to find that it doesn't even work. The moment I switch it on, the MCB trips, making the chimney completely useless.
Unbelievably Poor Service
March 12: I raised a service request, expecting a resolution. Instead, I got excuses and delays.
First Technician Visit: Instead of fixing the issue, he blamed my power supply and left. My electrician later confirmed that the problem is with the chimney itself.
Second Technician Visit (March 14): Finally, a technician acknowledged the issue and confirmed a faulty motor. He promised a replacement request, but nothing has happened since!
Multiple Follow-Ups: I contacted both the dealer and the Karnataka service head, but I still have no solution, just frustration.
Terrible Product Quality
The chimney came with scratches and visible damage.
There are vibration issues that make it feel cheap and poorly built.
For a so-called "premium brand, " this is unacceptable!
The Worst Part – No Responsibility!
Technicians are unprofessional and unwilling to solve issues.
I am forced to make endless follow-up calls just to get status updates.
No proactive response from Elica—only empty promises.
Final Verdict: AVOID ELICA!
I have wasted my time, energy, and money on this defective product and pathetic service. Elica doesn’t care about customers after selling their products. If you value your peace of mind, stay far away from Elica!
I demand immediate action to resolve this issue! If this continues, I will have no choice but to escalate further.
