Emaar MGF — Extreme delay in possession

We have booked the apartment in Palm hill and possession is comited in 2014 but everytime they will be responding you that they are planning to apply for possession next quarter from last 2 year but there is no end of commitment .Can anyone guide me how to deal with them .

I am facing the same issue with Emaar MGF Palm Hills. Each time I ask for a status, they say the project is going to be completed next year. the project is still nowhere near completion. Please let me know if you receive any response for your complaint.

Dear Mr Mittal, I am in a similar position.Emaar delayed my flat also, by 3 years, but did not. I asked for a refund due to the delay. They refuse to do that. I believe that Emaar is violating Govt rules and Supreme Court and National Consumer Disputes Commission rulings, which say that a developer cannot force a buyer to take possession for properties that have been unreasonably delayed. . Project has been delayed without any update of the progress and delivery. Last payment was asked in Sept 2015 and hence since then no progress has been made.

Need to identify mechanism to either get the property or MONEY back

Dear Jatin - individually Emaar will keep bullying us. Amazing behaviour from a promoter who says that he wants his company to be one of the most admired in the world...I think we must do this collectively. We are all in the same boat. I believe that Emaar is violating Govt rules and Supreme Court and National Consumer Disputes Commission rulings, which say that a developer cannot force a buyer to take possession for properties that have been unreasonably delayed. I came across this complaint that you preferred and I am already dealing with a case against the same builder, and I think you have a strong case on merits. Would it be possible for you to share all the details such as the date on which property was booked, the amount that was paid, and the date on which the possession was supposed to be handed over but was not handed over to you. Nipun - I am ready. Emaar hides facts and just does not have the decency to be honest or transparent. Emaar India worst builder of current times. Beware customers before buying any property and investing with Emaar India. Emaar Dubai Shaikhs and Emaar CEO ([protected]@emaar.com) are sleeping over these issues.

Now they have come up of new drama of second staircase construction for fire safety and asking for another 8 months to complete and the again apply for OC (OC is being applied to last three years).
They have money, workforce, team to launch new projects with the money of old projects.

90% of the new projects are getting unsold and slowly Emaar India would go bankruptcy due to their greed of buying more land, launch new projects.

Sometimes company board hires fools like Prashant Gupta as CEO who come up with such lame ideas to bring the company to next level (-1 to -10).
