Employee's Providents Fund Organisation [EPFO] — pf transfer or claim

Address:Marripalem, 530018

1. Employer in many cases try to hinder the employee in claiming the pf for some reasons at work. For this reason claiming/transfer method changed to get the claim/transfer by the consent of either old or new employer. This was great.

2. Now, offline system abandoned to digitization of entire process. This was applauded.

3.in digitalization, again employee has to consult the oldemployer to get the transfer.
Because, joining date, closing date, kyc to be done only by the concerned employer. This system changed the whole equation to 3 years back.

4. Although kyc can be done by the new employer (I[censored]an is same for both) still, joining date closing date updation to be done by old employer. Epf allowed to created many uan for one employee and it also failed to update (Or reject closing dates beyond new joining date) the closing date once the new joining date furnished by new employee. Its a logical failure.

5. If kyc is mandatory, epfo shouldn't allow to open the pf account without kyc.

6. Epfo allowed to remmit funds into old claimed/unclaimed accounts whose date of joining is years ago than the account in the very previous job. This created even big problem in getting those funds.

7. Employees at epfo comeup with strange replies just to avoid the situation rather than clearing the complaint. I trust employees of epfo are in stress in handling so many requests a day.

8. Finally, problems are on epfo side and struggle is on consumer side.
