[Resolved]  Orient Technologies Pvt. Ltd — Company overworking employees

Hello Sir/Madam,

My sister in law works in a company, Orient Technologies pvt ltd, Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai as an Network support engineer.

As per the rule, for any MNC or private firm the working hours should be 8 hours a day and 5 days a week. Or maximum 5 and half days.
Even if the company is providing 24x7 support, they give compulsory 2 week offs. This link http://www.erlaws.com/keyw.asp?keyw=110 also explains the laws explaining the same.

However she and her team mates are made to work 7 days a week. She do not have a single week off. Bank holiday and national holidays are a dream for them.

She is a very hardworking and self made girl. She has completed BE in Electronics from Mumbai University. She got this job via walkin interview. Since she was struggling for a job, she grabbed this opportunity with both the hands.

Even if she and her colleagues are freshers, company do not have rights to make them over work and take advantage of them by not paying any kind of over time and no good salary.

I asked them to raise their voice against this inhuman behavior, however they are scared to loose the job and hence are not doing so.

Hence, I am putting this complaint.

Please request the company to follow the rules and provide proper and acceptable working time and salary for them.
