[Resolved]  Ethiopian Airlines — Passenger Extreme harassment and denying any compensation

Hello Sir, Good day. Hope you are doing well. I have boarded a flight of Ethiopian Airlines on 27-September-2014 travelling from Johannesburg to Kolkata via Addis Ababa and Mumbai. Details of my flight are as follows: Flight No: ET-808: Travelling from Johannesburg to Addis Ababa Flight No: ET-610: Travelling from Addis Ababa to Mumbai Flight No: AI-610: Travelling from Mumbai to Kolkata. (Air India flight since they have a tie up with Ethiopian) After arrival in Mumbai, I notice that my luggage: ETO78932 is missing. Accordingly I submit a PIR form, duly filled up in the Mumbai Airport to the Ethiopian Airlines staff and I was assured that I will receive my luggage wit all my belongings inside safely within a few days, and it will be delivered to my residential address. In the mean time, I had a flight to board from Air-India, since Ethiopian Airlines have a tie up with Air India. But though I arrived on time for the departure yet, I was not allowed to board the plane, and I missed the flight. Later on I came to know from the Air India staff that AI-610 as already overbooked that day, hence the additional passengers could not be boarded. My flight was supposed to be at 8.35 am but I had to keep waiting for almost the entire day without being provided any accommodation in the Airport for the next flight which was at 8pm. It was a terrible day for me and the way I was treated, was least expected from an Airlines of international repute. But my agony does not end here. After repeated follow up on my lost luggage with the Ethiopian Airlines staff, finally on the 5th Oct, 2014 I was finally informed that my lost suitcase will be delivered to my place. I was at home the entire day. Finally I receive a call from a person, who asked me to come and collect the luggage from Tollygunge Metro Station where this person was waiting. I was surprised because I was promised that the luggage will be delivered at my door step. Tollygunge Metro station is around 3-4 kilometres from my residential address. I went there at my own expenses. After being there I notice that the plastic with which my suitcase is supposed to be covered is already tampered. Anyways I signed a paper, and brought my luggage home. After coming back and after opening my suitcase I notice that 2 of my extremely precious valuables are missing: 1> My Guess Watch (Premium collection, Swiss made): Approximate cost in INR 25, 000 2> English Leather Premium Perfume : Approximate cost in INR 4000 I demanded compensation from the Airlines on the following grounds: 1> One week delay in sending me luggage at my place. 2> For the loss of items. 3> And for the harassment at the Airport, when they denied my boarding from Mumbai to Kolkata instead of showing up on time, since the flight was already over boarded (Which I came to know from one of the Air India staff at the Airport). 4> I had to wait for more than 12 hours at the Airport, without being provided any temporary accommodation or proper food, and treated very badly by the corresponding Airline staff as if they are doing me a favour of any kind. But Ethiopian Airlines, completely denied me of any sort of compensation to be provided whatsoever for any of the above mentioned grounds. I followed up with them for the last one month and finally for fed up and writing this mail to you, hoping to get some justice. You are my last hope Sir, please help me out on this.
